We have been going to Affordable Automotive since 2008 with all of our cars over the years, and they are the best auto repair shop in the business. They are affordable, like their name says, but they are also honest and straightforward. Doug and his team are total professionals and are there to help you make the right choices on car repair, even if you are on a budget. Today, during a routine oil change, they found an axl issue on my 2018 Highlander. Rather than just quote the repair, they went above and beyond, called the dealer, found out the repair is still covered on my Power Train warranty for a few more miles, and referred me back to the dealer to get the repair fixed for free. We refer Doug to all of our friends and family. They are the best in the biz.

They fixed it for $200. Praise Jesus for this place. It is an answer to prayer!

Ive used Affordable Auto Repair for several of my vehicles, and Ive been happy with their service and prices. Im also impressed with their integrity. Recently another car repair shop quoted my MIL $3K to fix several problems with her car that I suspected were just an attempt to bilk her. I took her car to Affordable and had them check it out, even telling them what sort of trouble they might find. They could have easily decided to find the same problems and just quote me a lower price to fix them. Instead they let me know there were no problems, and gave me back the car.

Poor service.Lazy mechanics.The woman at the front desk called me a dumb b because I was recording her getting mad at me. She also apparently runs the place but cant explain the problems with my car. She stated shes not the talking type but runs the front desk?Someone needs to control this woman and inform her she cant be rude or call the customer names.Little did she know the whole interact was being audio recorded the entire time.Definitely will not be coming back.

Every time I go to Affordable Auto Repair, I have always been treated to great service! His estimates are always fair and reasonable. Repairs are done on time. Doug tells you how to save money. He doesnt look for repairs that dont need to be done. The waiting room is clean, comfortable with coffee and TV. The rest room is always clean. I have recommended many friends to Affordable. They also have been pleased.

I have a 2000 Honda CRV, 175,000 miles on it, Im the original owner, check engine light on, have had several valve adjustments previously so that that might be it again. They told me all cylinders were mis-firing and they recommend I take it to Honda for repair. Odd, I thought they could repair Hondas here?! I was prepared to have them re-build engine if necessary, guess Ill just take my business elsewhere now.

My entire family uses this mechanic shop and has so for 6-7 yearsMy parents and my sister live in San Diego and my brother lives in Riverside but all of them drive all they way to south Murrieta just to use this mechanic shop. There prices are very reasonable, you can trust them that they will not overcharge you or recommend unnecessary repairs. The owner is fantastic and is one of the best mechanics that I have ever known.

Affordable Automotive comes through again! With a phone call and an appointment two days later, we were able to send our daughter back to college with a car we KNEW was up to snuff. They did their oil change (whose price beats anybody) AND checked all fluids, filters, tires, etc - all inclusive. We sent our daughter on her way back to school completely satisfied and worry-free. After years as an employee and dedicated loyal customer. It sadness me to write this review. This used to be an honest repair facility that I trusted and took my cars no where else. So I brought in my 2002 Lexus for a loud exhaust leak.doug diagnosis was o needed a new catalytic converter, cost $800.00 plus. After a few months my car was making the same noise. I took it to an exhaust shop where he showed me the bolts to the catalytic converter were stripped and would work loose. I then had my original cat checked it preformed better than the one affordable sold me. So I called the owner Doug and told him my situation. That a new cat wasnt needed and in fact worked not as good as my original. I expected a standard wow sorry bout that. Guess we missed this one. Be happy to give you a 10% discount on next service or something! I mean $800.00 isnt a lot but for me it was a lot. He said I cant remember what we did on every at. I guess we will move forward. Not hey sorry. Or offer to replace my original cat which I still had. Which worked better than the after market one. Then today tfor the icing on the cake I called and told him my Hankoom tire which I resently purchased a set of 4 from him has a screw in the tire and asked about the road hazard if it could be plugged. He told me to go to Americas tire. He chooses not to work on my vehicles. He was offended by my email explaining that I was upset about a $800.00 repair that I didnt need. Avoid this place they have changed into the same as every other shop.didhonest, not customer oriented and not taking any responsibility for the errors.

I found this place by the suggestion of a friend and Im glad I went. I have always been treated like I am Dougs most important client, which Ive noticed he does with everyone else. Ive told him about my multiple problems, and many times he said it was only ______,and that will take care of everything, and ends up being very reasonable instead of mutiple things at a high cost. It seems like Doug is more interested in being honest and saving you money, than he is in making big money. In my opinion Doug is the ONLY mechanic in the area!l

I had some work done on my truck a few months ago and the repair was fine and at a reasonable price. What motivated me to go online and actually write a review was the second truck I took in, my wifes Suburban, needed a catalytic converter. Doug hooked it up to a diagnostic machine, had to replace a fuse to make it work, told me exactly what the problem was, and they told us that the Chevy warranty covers it at a dealer. It would be a very expensive repair and we didnt think a truck with 60K miles that we bought used would be covered. He didnt even charge me for the diagnostic (the dealer charges $100 bucks for this). I appreciate his honesty and will use him for all of our vehicles from here on.

The best place to take your vehicle in for repairs. This is the third time, I have taken my 03 VW Passat in for different repairs and they always do a great job in a timely manner. I have had my radiator removed and replaced, both axles and rear brake pad replaced. I have also had my coolant flange, radiator hose replaced, and fluids flushed and filled plus more. I havent had any problems whatsoever with what they have repaired. I wholeheartedly recommend Affordable Auto Repair.

I was a WW2 Seabee heavy equipment vehicle mechanic/operator. Most shops always try to upsell repairs that I know are not needed. Affordable gives an honest list of needed repairs/ service with their rating of importance/safety. They get the job done in the time quoted. They quote a price and charge that price. If they find additional work needed they call to inform and advise the relative importance and the price.I asked him to check my brakes because I drive a lot of freeway miles. He told me that they were fine with 50% left. Where else has this ever happened to you, never to me. I go nowhere else for auto work.
