Gina went above and beyond in making my experience easy, pleasant, and was extremely efficient and professional from start to finish. I absolutely loved the apartment, the spacious floor plan, and the way in which the property is always well maintained. It seems like a quiet and welcoming community in a great location. I would definitely recommend Sonoma at Mapleton Apartments. The customer service was superior!

The actual apartments are nice and the property is maintained very well. That being said, I would not recommend this place to anyone because when both I and another tenant, who was a friend of mine in the same complex moved out, we both got screwed out of our deposit. I had lived there with my wife for 3 years and had taken meticulous care of the apartment...even so far as to always take our shoes off when entering the home but that didnt stop the management from taking most of our deposit and coming up with frivolous charges; one of them was to replace the carpet they said was dirty. I would have happily taken them to small claims court if I was not in the process of changing employers. Stay away unless you dont care about your deposit being taken!

5/5 would recommend. Quiet, clean and no issues. Management has handled and concerns I have in a timely manner and are always pleasant. Neighbors are quiet and pet friendly.

Absolutely horrible apartment complex. Don’t expect any of your deposit back. They will take it all and than say you owe them more. I was in my apartment for just a few months and kept it completely immaculate. They still charged me my deposit and more and never sent over pictures they had of why we were being charged and didn’t get back to us for days when we were trying to figure out why. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to be falsely charged more money on top of your deposit. I also had a downstairs neighbor that would constantly hit on my ceiling if we were even walking across that they never did anything about. I’d give no stars if possible.Regarding your comment back, I have papers from your office with my name on it so funny how you can send me mail but not discuss other matters. That’s besides the point that your apartment charged hundreds of dollars apparently to clean a stove and bathroom that didn’t even have a crumb on it. Like I said previously, and unless you have hundreds of dollars to give away on top of the rent than this is just a heads up for future renters to watch what they are getting themselves into. I have never lived in an apartment but I LOVE it here! The staff in the office is awesome. So helpful and nice. It’s fairly quiet and they always keep it looking beautiful. When we moved in, they gave us a welcome basket with some reusable cups, a roll of toilet paper, dish soap, a coupon for free pizza etc. Just that alone shows how amazing the staff will treat you.

The staff at Sonoma are the most professional and nicest people I have met during my apartment search. The apartments are so cute and welcoming. We love living here! We are on our third year here! Brittany is the best! Anytime something need to be done she gets back to us really quick. Landscaping is always beautiful. TheThey just re-did the pool and spa. New lounge chairs. We feel like we live in a resort. The gym is always clean. If there are any issues they are more than happy to help! Thank you for such a nice place to live.💜💜

Great place to live! Nicest 2 and 3 bedroom apartments in the area, priced fairly. The staff is friendly, professional, and very efficient. At the office, I normally dealt with Brittni and Candice, who were always very helpful and polite. The property is quiet and very well maintained. Lived there for nearly one year. The only reason we moved out was because we purchased a home. I would definitely recommend!

Hi! Just wanted to say how nice the office and staff are! Always helpful, the grounds are kept so nice and when I need help, they are very attentive to get it done! Also Love when they stand outside on a morning (even if its old) and pass out treats (granola bars, muffins, yogurt...)... HOW NICE!!! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!! :)

Living here was an entirely positive experience. The staff are helpful and friendly. The neighbors are quiet and kind. It felt so safe that I had no hesitation walking my dog in the gated complex, even in the middle of the night. Not only was living here pleasant, but when my husband and I had to move out before our contract was completed (due to a new job opportunity), the staff was so helpful and understanding. Not only did they NOT charge us the fee that we were liable to pay, they rented out our apartment so quickly, they sent us a REFUND of the rent that we paid!! This is all after only giving them 5 days notice before moving out. I felt like that was not only beyond fair, but extremely generous of them! The apartments are beautiful, with large windows and natural light, the pool area is comfortable and clean, and they just up-dated their gym. I recommend!

Our family has been here for 2 years and we love it. The grounds are always well maintained, our neighbors are great, and the front office is always helpful and caring. Any issue we have had has been taken care of right away and without any discourse. My kids enjoy walking up to the pool, walks around the neighborhood, or even to say hi to the ladies up front. This is a great place to live!

This review has been a long time coming. From the moment we first sat in the leasing office to 6 months after moving in, we have been so impressed by the amazing Sonoma staff and the peacefulness of the complex. We love the attentiveness to the maintenance, the calm & gorgeous environment, and the creative ways the leasing office makes us feel welcomed & valued. Loved these apartments! The girl at the office, Candice, was so nice. She was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I would have chosen these apartments if the location was closer to work! Other than location, everything looked great.

The best place to live in the and the staff are so kind and are professional. They are always looking for the needs of the people and are very helpful. I have always been treated like family. Not only that but the place is always clean and quiet. It is the perfect place to live in. I am always going to have great memories of this great place.

My fiance and I have lived here for about 6 months now and we love it. The office is always kind and attentive, and they always remember every single person that walks in to talk to them along with their apartment number. Occasionally we will have guests hang out late at night and nobody has ever bothered us about it. Neighbors are all very friendly. Apartments are beautiful and maintenance rocks!

The complex is nice, but it’s the staff that really gave me the first impression on how this place really is. The lady was rude and looked like she just rolled out of bed... definitely a NO GO. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I have lived here with my family for about 9 months, I believe this to be one of the best apartment communities in this area. They keep the grounds very well maintained. I love that even though we are in the desert area, once you come into the apartment complex everything is so green. The apartments are a great size, I love the high ceilings and the crown moulding. The kitchens has plenty of cupboard space and it definitely doesnt feel like an apartment kitchen. Even in the one bedroom there is tons of closet space throughout the apartment. The staff is great, always very polite and professional, as well as being prompt to any questions and concerns. Five stars to the apartment and staff. The only thing I am unhappy with is the neighbors but that is not the apartments fault so thats why I decided to still give 5 stars.

Dont expect management to do whats needed when you need it here. A car alarm was going off, and they were called twice, then visited in person, and they refused to simply find and call the owner, because they were busy trying to sign a new customer, all the while residents were being disturbed in several buildings, coming out of concern to see if they could help, unlike management.

Nice, clean apartments with lots of amenities on the outer edges of Murrieta. Jeff, the leasing consultant is outstanding. Any question or emergency that came up he was there with a solution.**Watch that there is a mandatory charge for carpet cleaning regardless of the condition when you move out of the apartments. This was explained by another consultant on our final walk-through although we did not locate it in the contract.Otherwise, a nice quiet place to live with friendly people.

Pros:Most of the management staff is very friendly. The maintenance staff is very quick and helpful. Any orders I had were taken care of within 1 day.Cons:I have allergies and they spray for bugs weekly, being on the first floor was not good for my allergies.There seemed to be lots of problems with the pool facilities, they were often not working and when they were the hot tub was not very warm.

We love it here! I finally got to writing this review...My family and I have been living here since mid August. We moved fron SD to Murrieta due to new job. Everyone has been super nice and professional made our move super easy. My neighbors are wonderful people! People who I have met in the complex have been so welcoming. The complex has so much to offer! It has a business center w/a computer/printer/fax! The gym has what you need to complete a good work out. I havent used it yet but my husband has. The pool looks nice and so does the barbecue area. The maintenance staff is very professional! The complex also organizes events and tonight we attended a paint night. We had soo much fun and came out w/a wonderful painting! We love it here! We are 100% sure we will renew our lease once its up. Thanks Sonoma we love being here 😊

I have only good things to say about Sonoma.The entire staff is very kind, professional, and efficient, and the complex is very well taken care of.

Would never live here again. Ive lived here for 3 years, so Im pretty well educated on this place. But now moving in 2 months because they denied us to renew our lease (after 3 years!!!) because new neighbors underneath us created problems (only about 3 months living here), said they could hear us walking/living in our home. We have done everything they have asked us to do, including moving garages just to please other neighbors. So I will start with cons: Office management is extremely rude and changes every year. They have no communication from one staff to the next so you really never know what to expect i.e. you were told things are one way but new staff disagrees. Also they will get you in the door with a low rate and then RAISE YOUR RENT EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER. It was so shocking how high the price inrease gets. The grounds are extremely unkempt as far as pet poop is concerned, its really disgusting. I have a 2 year old and dont let her walk in the grass because of this. We also had a pigeon living above our stairs that defecated all over and it took management 4 MONTHS to clean this up. 4 MONTHS!!! There is never ANY parking inside the gate. We live right up front and we have to walk almost a quarter mile, or park on the public street above the apartments just for a spot. Such an inconvenience with groceries and children. The pool is constantly dirty, and was even shut down for one month during summer for repairs which were never done and should have been done during winter months when it wasnt being used. You are not allowed to smoke or bring alcoholic beverages into the pool area or any other common area, which I understand to an extent. But who doesnt like to have a cold beer while they BBQ at the pool on a hot summer day? Its controlling and over the top. They also lock one pool gate, as well as the door to the community computer center/meeting place, and that is so inconvenient as a tenant. Crime rate is high. Constantly seeing cop cars inside the gates and even once saw a SWAT vehicle conduct a raid on the condos next to Sonoma at Mapleton. Rent is extremely high for the so called luxury living they try to sell you. In addition, you must pay your own water, sewage, trash and gas. Most apartments cover this. You must also carry renters insurance (again, most other luxury apartments cover this) and these add up quick. Youre not allowed to have any personal items under the stairs (such as a stroller if you live upstairs and dont feel like dragging it up and down every time) or on your front porch. And from personal experience, they inflict these rules at their own luxury, only when they feel they should start taking care of the place. Ive also heard and am about to find out that they charge you up the wahoo when you choose to leave for items as small as scratches on the washer (which should be considered normal wear and tear.) I could go on and on but my hands hurt. Hopefully this gives you insight into this apartment complex. There are two more just up the road that have much better ratings, I would definitely recommend trying those out first. Sonoma at Mapleton is more of a last resort type thing. Good luck.
