Kathy was the mediator that our lawyers used for our divorce mediation a few months ago. I felt that Kathy wasnt impartial at times and favored my spouse. I felt that she aligned with my spouses story, emotion, and point of view around our divorce. I felt that my point of view and concerns were dismissed and brushed aside by a few comments she made. It also appears that my spouse paid less than half of the cost of mediation.

I wasnt very happy with my consultation. Mediation is hard no doubt, however I basically got screwed good. When someone keeps telling me what the courts will do anyways it makes me wonder why I just did not go to court.

Wonderful human. Although my ex and I did not come to an agreement, I am happy to have gone through Ms Elton. She was so kind and accommodating and genuinely seemed to care. Thank you ❤️

Very welcoming and comfortable office. Kathy helped my ex and I settle on something that was equal and fair for both parties. She is very professional and knowledgeable, not to mention kind and outgoing. Very pleasant to deal with. Best bang for your buck! Kathy is knowledgeable, skilled and efficient. Kathy has excellent facilities, great location, and gets almost all my cases settled. Kathy is a very, very good mediator. If you did not like her, then you would not have liked any mediator. I highly recommend Kathy. Been using her for years and will continue to do so.

Went to KEC for mediation. She suggested we come back for her to draft custom paperwork for her to send to a lawyer and he would then follow the paperwork through the court system. We wasted almost $300 dollars to be told to make another appointment to pay her more. Also, the lawyer charged $500 and she would not give the lawyers name. I felt scammed and taken advantage of in such an emotionally sensitive time. I would not recommend Kathy.

I actually used Kathys mediation services twice. The first time, Kathy was great and we were able to get to an agreement, but the other party wasnt there to sign and it fell apart. The second time, Kathy was also wonderful at working with both sides to reach an agreement, and we were all able to sign while we were present. I would definitely recommend her services and would use her again in the future if needed.

My wife and I went to Kathy Elton for mediation regarding child custody. She was very professional, had a very comfortable and relaxing house/office where we were able to mediate. She was punctual and polite. We retained her services in 2012 and due to some unforeseen problems (that have nothing to do with Kathy), are still in a custody battle. I asked Kathy if she still had a copy of what we had decided from 2012 and she sent it over immediately. I am very pleased we chose Kathy for our mediator and I would definitely recommend her to everyone, especially my family.

Kathy always does a wonderful job. Clients and attorneys appreciate the professional way she helps parties reach resolutions to their disputes.

My wife and I have been the legal guardians of my nephew for 2 1/2 years. We willingly accept this responsibility. Out of the blue we get a letter from Kathy Elton Consulting demanding we attend and pay for mediation over the issue. There is no current court case and definitely no reason we should mediate. I sent an email to Kathys office to let her know we would not be participating in any mediation. (Text of my email: We hereby notify Kathy Elton Consulting we will not be attending any mediation re: ##### Guardianship, scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 6:30 PM. We did not schedule this mediation session. We are under no active court orders to attend any mediation. We have not signed any agreement from your office; do not agree to the terms in your letter; and we will not attend nor will we pay any portion of any mediation fees. I was simply trying to be factual and let them know we would not be coming (we got the mediation scheduled letter from her office on Monday, August 28th BTW). This is a serious issue involving a child and only the courts should be involved. Kathys reply to my email was unprofessional, biased and clearly shows she has a conflicted relationship with the mothers attorney (Andrew), KATHYS REPLY: If I were Andrew when I got in front of a judge Id show them all of these snotty emails giving them all the chance to mediate and them saying Na na na you need a court ordered mediation. DO NOT USE KATHY ELTON CONSULTING - she is biased and unprofessional. Two things a professional mediator should not be.

Went for mediation and was quite pleased with Kathys hospitality, professionalism and effectiveness.
