I love the help I get with Check City. They have always been there for me. A few months ago, I had a medical bill that needed to be paid within a couple of days. The hospital would not wait (until I got my next check in two weeks) for the payment. Check City loaned me the necessary money to get the hospital payment made in a timely manner. THANKS AGAIN!!

Everyone has told me that payday loans were a scam... And thats probably true in a lot of cases. But I found my fees to be totally reasonable for a small one-week loan, and Tina gave me outstanding customer service. I have already recommended their service to a friend, and if Im ever in a bind again, Ill certainly head to Check City first rather than messing around with the shady strip-mall lenders all over town.

Have you ever wondered how the internet gets so much of your personal information? If you’ve ever done any business with Check City, they’re almost certain to have sold the details you provided them to other businesses that don’t hesitate to use that information unscrupulously. Check City ought to pay you rather than charge a fee to cash checks. Even if you have perfect credit and aren’t dodging debt collectors and don’t plan to dodge anyone any time soon, my advice is to avoid Check City if it’s at all possible. I honestly think most people would be better off to just throw away a check for under $20 if the only way to cash it is at Check City. If you are avoiding debt collectors, Check City is definitely not for you.

I left Very displeased from the store. Ryan (I think its his name, a long-haired guy) was too rude to me, when I came back to change the name of a receiver in a money transfer through Western Union. He just looked at his phone and did not know when I was talking and he looked at me with contempt making me feel like an idiot. Grateful to Jesus, a Hispanic boy who helped me and was very nice to me. People like Ryan are unable to serve clients, if he wants to look at his phone to stay at home. Im very disgusted!!

Check City Not only this one but just them in General are Worthless half the staff cant even speak proper English, They are not willing to work with anything you do with them. Its a game and A joke for them. I tried to work with them and they refused and took the full loan after trying to work with them, took the money that we specifically set aside for our children s food and took that money now my children have no food due to these incompetent people!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!

Their website is not the easiest to use. But the chat option is very helpful and prompt.

I feel like check city is the most honest check cashing/loan place out there and they truly have your best interest in mind.

Short term loans to cover for a few days and prevent overdraft fees are great. In and out in a matter of a couple of minutes.

Go TO CHECKLINE!!! less hassle and no surprises, I went to get a loan, I called and was told all i needed to get a loan was a picture ID and proof of income which I had when i got to my nearest location they told me i needed my bank account number also needed a verified working phone number, i wasted 45 mins and gas to walk out of that place with no loan and less gas and extremely upset. I DO NOT RECOMEND CHECK CITY but i would recommend Checkline which is fast and customer service reps are very caring, interest rate is lower and more informative and will tell you what is needed when you call so people can have what they needed when they come in. Check city is trash and this is my first review on any company Thanks for nothing Check City
