This is the first time weve used a local water purification company. We are extremely pleased with the service and quality/ taste of our water now. Justin came out to talk to us about the different systems and how they worked. He wasnt pushy at all just gave us facts and let us make a decision.They had to dig a trench and put our whole house system outside (we had no main hookup in the garage) randy and his son did a wonderful job. They were both very professional and courteous.We also got the reverse osmosis for drinking water in the kitchen. We LOVE it! It tastes just as good as my 3k countertop version, it is MUCH much cheaper and it doesnt take up counter space. Im trying to get everyone i know to try ours and get their own lol. 10/10 would recommend to my loved ones. 👍👍

Existing customer service is lacking majorly. We have had our water softener system for 3 years now and one of the biggest reasons we got it was that they had insured us that if we ever moved, they would come uninstall it and install at our new home. However, we called a couple of weeks ago to schedule having the system uninstalled only as we will be renting until our new home is finished. They told us they are completely booked up and won’t have time to get to us until after our closing date and the new owners are in the house or we can pay out of pocket and have a plumber uninstall. Unsurprisingly, the plumber they recommended doesn’t travel to Shelbyville! We have no idea what to do at this point as we close on our house on Monday. As a small business one would think they would put existing customers at least a little higher up on the list instead of just tossing them out to dry.Update: We received a phone call from the owner this morning and they told us that they could come uninstall the water system from the outside and once our new home is finished they would install a new reverse osmosis system for us! Super thankful we found a resolution. I guess sometimes it just takes being the little “squeaky wheel” unfortunately!

Fast water testing no pushing to sell me the item and fast install ..great to have softener water

I spent hours researching water purification systems and water softeners. Every company had a different explanation about what we needed, and some were downright dishonest. I wish I had contacted Robertson Family Water first, because Justin was honest, straightforward, and had a reasonably-priced solution that made sense for our needs. As someone who shuts down when it comes to sleazy salesmen, (and trust me, 90% of their RFWs competition is sleazy) I appreciate their approach and patience in explaining how their systems work, and how they compare to their competition.Regarding install, Randy was great. He explained everything well and did a great job for us. Friendly and knowledgeable (and he co-owns the business). As a business owner myself, I always appreciate when other business owners are hands-on and believe in their product or service. Randy and Justin do.Two things are certain, Middle TN water is terrible AND Robertson Family Water has a reasonable solution to keep your family healthy and safe when it comes to the water at your home. Save yourself some time, and rule out the other folks, because RFW is the best solution. And if you like a family-owned, local small business, these folks are the ones to choose.

We are loving our new water system. From scheduling to installing, the process was quick and smooth. The folks at RFW are clearly committed to their work and professionalism in the community. Will refer neighbors and local friends.

This business is somehow my guardian angel. Let me explain; I made an appointment for water testing and a consultation/quote. Justin came out and performed the water test. In the middle of testing he said, Is your floor shiny only in that corner? I hoped into the house and found 2 inches of water. My hot water heater was spewing water EVERYWHERE. Justin ran and got his drill to take off the door while I shut off the water to the house. Turns out, the fittings to the water heater were not screwed on. Someone Bless Justin for having an electric drill and for sticking around to help. Seriously. The next time was when I had no water. I figured my new water system tripped my breaker and was the problem, because it was the only thing off. So, I put in a service call and Randy came out. We talked and he got the system back on line but still no water. Earlier myself, my family, our friends, and plenty of others had tried to figure out this craziness. Why wouldnt the water work?! Randy checked the pump, the outdoor breaker, under the house, no frozen pipes, and then finally the laundry room. He found the water had been turned off in the laundry room during construction work the week prior. I was nearly in tears! All the men folk I knew were ready to cut a pipe or rip stuff out of the ground!!! Randy saved me from having to replace my new pipes and sanity. Someone out there please bless Randy. This company not only provides fantastic water cleansing products but they also help with a lack of common sense.

Water is something that we use every day, we cook with it, clean with it, and bathe ourselves and our children in it and until recently, I had never really thought to have it tested. We had our tech come out he tested the water in our kitchen. The results that came back were so interesting and honestly a little concerning. The tech was very knowledgeable and was also able to answer all of my questions. Needless to say as a mother of two small boys, I am so happy we decided to get our water tested with Robertson Family Water. We are very happy to know we have improved our water quality and the overall health of our family.

I have neighbors who have their systems and I kept wanting to get one for our house because of all the positive benefits they kept saying about theirs, so I had them come and do the water test which went very well and professional.But WOW what they showed me in our water was in a word ----disgusting!! Needless to say we got the system installed that week and the installers did an amazing job as well! The softness of the water and the $$$$ were saving not having to use as much shampoo, laundry detergent and other soaps have by far paid us back for our system! Highly highly encourage anyone who doesnt have one to at minimum get your free water test done!

We have really bag sulfur well water that is hard and made clothes dingy. The water was cloudy and not drinkable. Robertson family water came out 4 years ago, did a water test and said they could fix our water and they DID...four years later we still have perfect water! The cost was reasonable and the service is fantastic. I want to personally thank Randy, who installed our system, who helps me with maintenance and filter changes. I am a DIY kinda guy and they are eager to help me or can come out and take care of the maintenance for you. One of the best decisions we ever made!

I have to say this was the slickest move Ive seen in sales in a long time. Got a flyer saying someone was unable to deliver package even though someone is always home so my husband calls the number and they say they have had complaints about what is in our water and would like to test it and if we participate we would get a gift card. Skeptical we asked is this really free water testing? Yes absolutely so we said sure. Its a sales scheme anyway the tech comes out and says in order for this to be free you have to fill out a survey and participate and answer questions we went along with it all and at the end (2hrs later) they slammed you with you can have clean water with our system for 12 grand we said no thank you and even had to give specific reasons why we dont want clean water. I dont like how they say so why dont you want clean water? We do want clean water and to be honest our results werent out of line so ours is clean just some hard water and chlorine. Idk it was uncomfortable the way they present that youre ok with dirty water or you have dangerous dirty water, the tech was super nice and friendly but still they tricked us into getting into our home without being honest about their intentions. Then she had to phone it in right in front of us and that guy was very pushy wanting to sale us soaps since we didnt want the system to help us out!?! Needless to say THROW AWAY THE FLYERS its a scam to get them into your home so they can pitch a sale. They are pretty smart with their tactics too the flyers, other people are concerned, youll save money, phoning in the results etc. If their systems were so great and this was such an amazing deal why havent I ever heard Id them? Ever? If they would be honest and build off that with correct not deceptive marketing, client testimonials, word of mouth, maybe we would have been more receptive. If we do decided to get a filtration system we will never buy from them due to them being dishonest and we will be spreading the word.

Weve had our system for almost two years, so weve had the opportunity to live with the clean water and experience excellent customer service along the way. Does my wife and daughter complain about dry skin any longer? No. Do we use a full amount of soap to wash clothes? No. Does the water taste better? Yes. Is it healthier for us? Were still alive! All of these life improvements were initially promised and Robertson Family Water continues to deliver. They garnered our trust from the get-go and have maintained it since.

Wife and I are shocked in the difference with the water since we had the system install. The dishes from the dishwasher actually sparkle now. The water from the shower is softer and so is my wifes hair. We use less soap for the dishwasher and washing machine. We also did a taste test between bottle water and water from the refrigerator and the refrigerator won. The best thing about the water is no more lime build up around the water fixtures. Only regret is not meeting the Robertson family sooner and having them install their water system. The install was done professionally. I would and have recommend family and friends to have the Robertson family install one in their home.

We have had an excellent experience with Robertson Family Water. Their sales representative was timely in his arrival and was knowledgeable about their products. He was able to recommend a water system that was tailored to our needs rather than suggesting a more expensive product.The installer arrived as expected and fully installed the system in less than 2 hours.While it was recommended to run the water for about 30 minutes to flush out the hard water, we opted to let the water flush through normal use. While the change is slower, we have noticed a significant change in the amount of soap required for a task, water spots are a thing of the past, and there has been no loss in water pressure as a result of the installation.Cost wise. Only good news here. We were quoted almost double the price for a similar system in Knoxville. Great value, and excellent customer support after the sale.If you are in the market for soft water, I can absolutely recommend Robertson Family Water for your water softener needs.

Two years ago, in my mid-forties, I developed an unusual case of eczema: my legs were covered in rough patches, but mixed with those were raised whelps, and every evening an incessant itching came over my legs that would wake me in the night. My skin was bruised, wounded from scratching. It all coincided with my move from Virginia to Tennessee, so we wondered if it was the stress of the move at first, but it wouldn’t go away, and years later, I was left with more questions. It started to spread to my arms and torso. I was convinced I was allergic to something, trying elimination diets and getting food-allergy tested—nothing showed as an allergy. I visited the dermatologist for creams, my primary care doctor—I had blood tests to check all my levels… Everything was totally fine; it was a complete mystery. But all the while, the itching was intense and unrelenting. Sometimes, I’d have to take Benadryl and it would knock me out and help me sleep—that’s not normal. Desperate, with a list of endocrinologists in hand—my last hope—I thought, “I know I don’t drink as much water as I should. At the very least, I could try to flush out whatever is in my system until I can get an appointment.” I bought a water jug that holds my daily water intake and filled it with water from my fridge (that had a brand new water filter). I drank the entire thing. That night, my legs were the worst they’d ever been—bleeding, bruised, raw, and itching beyond anything I’d experienced before. I looked at my husband, shocked, and said, “I think it’s the water in Tennessee.” We bought bottled water that weekend, and that’s all I drank. My legs got better, but every time I showered or washed my hands, the itching returned. That was when we knew. We called Robertson Family Water and had someone come out the very next day. The tests they did on my water showed that my fridge filter could get out some of what was put in to our water, but not all of it, and apparently, something that was left in was causing an allergic reaction for me. I bought their elite filter and it was installed right away, so all of the water in my home is now clean of contaminants. Within twenty-four hours, I was symptom free; my body was completely clear of any signs of reaction or eczema. This company worked with me on every step of the process, and I couldn’t be happier with the results of their efforts. Finding them was life changing for me.

They took the time to explain the system and was very efficient on the installation. They even went “above & beyond” by building a portable system to install for our water at the marina where our boat is docked! What a difference in our water! No more spots, calcium build up on the shower tiles along with soft hair & skin using less soap. Updated: Since my original post I was contacted by a very nice sales person that represents Robertson Family Water and in his attempt to make things right he offered and delivered a Big Blue water filter system at no charge. He was very insistent and very nice about the whole follow up experience. The installers were early and performed the work fast. I appreciate the follow up customer service and I have changed my rating to show my appreciation.We had recently moved into a new house and got several of these flyers asking us to call a number to claim our house warming gift. I called and set up our free in house presentation of the water filtration system. The sales guy showed up at 6pm and told us he would be done in plenty of time for us to get our children in bed by 9pm. The sales guy started getting rude when I had to step out of the room to tend to the children who were getting restless. He kept stopping his presentation so I could experience the show. I told him that if he could convince my wife to buy we will buy. He wasnt having it. I could sense he was frustrated with our children wanting to have some attention. As 9pm rolled up I was like I have seen enough lets talk numbers. He did the expected well its $9,000 but if you get it today and pay cash and refer 5 friends I will knock it down to $7,000. I said can we skip this and get to the base number because I need to get my children to bed. He then stopped talking and started packing up his presentation. I said okay...so where is our house warming gift? He said you sign this card and send it in and we will send it to you. Of course we never received the City Saver book. Why would we? Oh and the owner of the company gives his own company a 5 star rating just to bump up his reviews. Great business practice. I will not be using them nor would I refer them to any of my friends.

Great family owned/operated business in Murfreesboro. Install took 1 hour, clean, neat, and well explained. Follow-up is fantastic and pricing is better than most. Nice units and takes up very little space and easy to understand, and adjustable in case you dont want your water 100% treated. Very pleased and would recommend to anybody looking for softener or other type water treatment options. Far exceeds our expectations.

Robertson Family Water is a quality business. Yes what you get is what you need, nothing more and nothing less. Their prices are fair and while higher than if the homeowner were to install their own system, their install is no nonsense and everything works as it should. If you were to experience a problem, they are quick to answer questions over the phone and if a service call is required, they are Johnny on the spot! We actually hired them twice, first for our specific problem of acid water with high iron content and brought them back to install a UV light system. All is working properly and we have the best water around!

Great experience so far. I had an old and troublesome well water treatment system replaced by Robertson Family Water and my water has never looked or tasted as good as it does now. They worked around my very busy schedule for the site visit and the installation. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is that the system is brand new. I will likely write another review after a year or so of operation.

For several years, I have had a water softener and purification system in my home that Robertson Family Water installed, and I have never had a moments problem with it. Plus, it does everything its supposed to do - makes water taste better, leaves the laundry soft, leaves skin and hair soft, etc. Now I am getting a second system for a second location from Robertson.Mark Robertson is a great guy - very enthusiastic about what he does - seems to legitimately want people to have safe water - which is hard to get from ANY water district. Just look at all the problems in Flint Michigan with lead pipes! The city water company has known about this for a long time, but not informed the public. The only way to find out what is in your water is have it tested independently! Call Mark! He does it for free. If Mark Robertson lived in Flint Michigan, there would be a lot fewer people sick from contaminated water! I can tell you that right now.

Wow! Besides Mark being a joy to work with, the water in my home is now incredible! He tells you that you will use less soap and cleaning supplies...I used to use 1 bar of bath soap a week in my old apartment with basic city water...I have been in my new home for a month and I am still using the same bar of soap! The water softener/filter is the BEST thing I did for my new home.

Wow...what a difference!!! Our water before was disgusting, leaving dishes with a tacky white residue and plumbing fixtures all spotty. In just one day, my dishes sparkle, my skin and hair is softer and the shower rinses clean! Wish I had done this years ago. And although the are based in Murfreesboro, they cover a large geographical area (were in Columbia).Installation of our system went smoothly, and was a lot quicker than I thought it would take. There was a small issue and they came back immediately and took care of it efficiently.The difference in our water since the installation has been ASTOUNDING!! About 3 years ago my wife and I moved to Murfreesboro and were not at all pleased with the over all quality of the water. It smelt bad, tasted bad, and was hard. So, after draining my hot water heater a couple of times, to find what looked like a lot of sand, we decided to start looking for a water filtration system. After asking around there were two companies that were mentioned to me. The first one tried to lay a hard sales pitch on me, backed by a bunch of pressure. I have been in some kind of sales my whole life and I refuse to be sold, nor do I like to sell someone. After words I really didnt feel like going through all that again, but we decided that we had to. This all brought me to Robertson Family Water. Mark came into my home and treated me like we have known each other for years. He showed me what my problem was, how they could fix it, how much it was going to cost me, told me how he would back it all up by great customer service, and told me that I would have clean, great tasting water for many years to come. Its been 3 yrs now and they havent let me down yet. I highly recommend them to whomever is reading this and anyone else that mentions to me that they are tired and disgusted with the quality and safety of their water. I just wish I would have called them the first time.

I am totally pleased with my whole house water filtration and conditioning system. The water tastes good to drink and my fixtures stay clean and full functioning. When I change the water filter cartridge every quarter, it reminds me why this would money well spent.

Worst experience EVER! A couple of sales people showed up at my house at 6:30pm last night, while Im making dinner for my family. I told them I cancelled the appointment because the evenings werent a good time and he said it would take 15 min, an hour at most, to test the water. I asked him what he needed access to and he said the kitchen sink. Ok. They didnt leave my house until after 10pm!!! I had absolutely no idea this was going to be a sales pitch. I thought it was strictly a water test. He wouldnt let my husband or myself leave the kitchen; we both had to stay in there at all times, which was next to impossible due to having a 4 year old and an 8 month old. The guy wouldnt take no for an answer that we didnt want their service. He then called in our results and made us sound like idiots for not going with their company. This place really needs to put something in place that their employees get the hell out of potential customers houses by a certain time. Three and a half hours was RIDICULOUS! We really tried to be accommodating because who wants to be out right rude with people in their house? But come on. He could clearly see it wasnt a good time for us and after even stating that, he could have cared less. I guess my bad for letting them in my house...I will not recommend this company to anyone. Down right pushy sales people

They will use a scare tactic to get a sale. When they came to test our water advised that our chlorine was through the roof high. Asked if they would report adversely high results to the epa since they would clearly be in violation of the epa they stated No. Which this made us skeptical that their tests were truly accurate. We have sent our water to a lab for testing waiting for the results. But truly do not believe them to be in areas where this company said they would be. Its like door to door sales scary tatic is used by them .....I will pass on having any discussion about this, we have neighbors that we have discussed with and have found out alot of information. Its a shame that companies like yours out there are very unprofessional and misleading to consumers whom may not ha e the best knowledge in the area, but to use that to your advantage only helps you as the company.... and a consumer that thinks they need everything that you have advised when in reality they truly dont or even if they want to they can purchase from lowes or home depot at 1/6th of the cost of your systems

They are an incredible business to be a partnered with.

I’ve been bathing my 2, 3, and 5 year old children in sulfur water for almost 3 months now. We have had multiple service calls where the issue has not been fixed. The “manager” I spoke to on the phone is extremely rude and needs customer service training. Don’t take your money here unless you are okay with paying for services you don’t receive.

We were delighted to find Robertson water system shortly after moving to TN. Since we already were believers in soft treated water, we knew we wanted a system ASAP. We met with several companies but once we connected with Robertson, we knew we found the right folks AND an excellent system. Before our purchase, I struggled with miserable shower and tub maintenance and unpleasant showers in general. We have been thrilled with everything from sales to service with Robertson. Honestly, have them over and get educated about your water. Its a no brainer to go with them.

Very easy to do business with these folks. No high-pressure sales job, just neighbors trying to help you keep you water safe and make your water using appliances last longer. This is the 2nd time I have purchased a system from Robertson Family Water and Ill do it again if the opportunity presents itself. The systems are easy to use, effective and keep your faucets, drains, etc. looking brand new.

Scammer 4 real.. Salesman you a lie. Had water damage after there install. They Takes advantage of elderly people..Robertson sales there systems for over $7000 that they dont tell you the price, we will send you a bill $39 month. For 20 years these systems cost $1500..

Our water was very hard containing lots of different chemicals, although it was safe it spotted all my dishes and made other water (bath & washing) unpleasant. Since Robertson Family Water installed our treatment system my dishes are squicky clean and we have soft water for bathing and clothes washing, no residue ! Yeah !

My husband and I are building a new home and in the process we are renting, and to find out we are renting a home and are on well water. Our skin and hair was starting to fell horrible and Robertson Family Water came and installed a system and now we are back to normal but even better than before, (IT IS AMAZING) There system is awesome and I would reccommend it to anyone in need, they are even going to pick it up and install it in our brand new home for us when our new home is complete. NOW THAT SPEAKS VOLUME FOR ME:)

We installed out whole house water filtration system in August of last year. I was skeptical and not sure we would really see a noticeable difference. I was completely wrong. My kids do not have eczema on their skin anymore and my wife says that her hair finally feels clean after washing it. The chemicals in city water are absolutely horrifying. I had a great experience with Robertsons Family Water from the sales quote to after the install follow up. Its totally worth the investment to install one of these in your home and there is no maintenance involved. The device is self cleaning and you only have it serviced every 5 years. Deceptive advertising. I received a letter in the mail claiming that someone was trying to deliver a package and they needed me to call them to schedule a delivery time. Upon calling I was told that Robertson Family Water wanted to schedule a time to have one of their sales reps come by and show us their system. That in home sales pitch must be the “package” they were trying to deliver.If they are willing to mislead in their advertising, what else are they misleading you about?

It has always been a pleasure to have Robertson Family Water come out for our water treatment.They always meet their appointment time and the techs and office personnel are friendly and knowledgeable.

Using manipulative marketing tactics, sending a slip of paper lying about a package being delivered, to try and get people to call in for a water test. No thanks. Doubt its a coincidence that they send these package slips around during the holiday time period.

Fast, Dependable, and reasonably priced service from a family you can depend on before AND after the sale. Im loving my new water treatment system and the new water line to my garden too!

This is one of the worse most in professional business I have ever had the disgust of working with. Did not provide a working system, would not service the system as requested, and also billed incorrect amounts multiple times.

The slickest, most manipulative salesman I have met. I called for the free water testing and he tried to sell me a $7k water system without showing me the results of the water test. When I insisted on seeing the results he showed them to me and turned out we have great spring water and dont need the system. His response: well, this is only a snapshot and you never know on another day if there could be contamination, etc. The way he markets himself as a Christian family businessman feels manipulative. He may try to offer you a better deal on a used system if the $7k price tag shocks you too much. He will be your best friend until you tell him you are not interested in purchasing. Talks a lot, but not a good listener. He claims he does what he does because he is saving lives....my impression is that he has other motives, but Ill let God be the judge.

Our well water was cloudy with a lot of sediment and a foul odor. The system that Robertson Family Water installed took care of all these issues and we now have the best drinking water ever!

Heath marter works for this company and doesnt have this system in his house. This company should be ashamed of allowing these misleading comments.
