My daughter came in to get her nails done. The lady had cut the nails shorter than she had liked and the shape was terrible and uneven. When I brought it to her attention she said my daughter didn’t tell her they were too short. My daughter said she specifically told her they were too short and the lady told her there was nothing she could do about it. So pretty much she would have to pay for nails she didn’t like and were not what she wanted. I did see in a previous post that it was never too late to fix a mistake. Apparently today that did not apply because she refused to fix it. She did attempt to file the mistakes made but unless she was able to put more nail back on it wasn’t going to fix the issue. If she had offered to remove them and start over we would have not been so upset but she literally didn’t want to take the time to do that. I told her to just remove them and we left without any nails. Thankfully we were not charged. My daughter left in tears. This is not our normal nail salon and we should have known better than to go somewhere new. We will not return and I would suggest anyone wanting to try this place to be very careful.

The people were very nice and the prices and service was good but I was overall not thrilled with the quality of the nails. I started noticing a lot of lumps or messed up portions shortly after my service. Overall I believe this business is well run and I would return, however I’d check everything before I leave. Also the service was finished pretty quick which was nice.

Never go here. We were there for 4 hrs and wasted a whole day. I was told my color would be lighter then what it was and it wasn’t so I wanted them done the right way. All I said was I wanted to leave happy. It was our first time there and we paid almost $200 and was told I had to pay and extra $45 on top of the $45 I already paid to redo my nails. I never left until they were the way I wanted them. The guy there was very nice and reduced my price and one of the lady’s that work there starting yelling at me and my family because I didn’t have the money to pay an extra $45 that I should have never had to pay so thankfully the man was nice enough to fix that. I have never been treated so bad from Amy nail salon I have went to until I went to this one. The lady made me cry because I paid and was going to give her a big tip until she started yelling at me and my daughter because she wanted me to pay extra money to redo my nails. I want be back there. I have went to cheaper places. I didn’t feel relaxed. It was the worse experience ever. I paid before I left and she shouldn’t ever treat a customer the way she treated me and my family.

On my wedding day, my sweet groom and I went to get pedicures to relax and get some nails for myself. On a Friday morning, they got us in quickly. I had no idea what kind of nails I wanted since Ive never had them done, but once I explained it to the nail tech, she got me hooked up with exactly what I asked for. My nails were beautiful for my big day! I couldnt have asked for an easier, more relaxed nail experience for my wedding day so for that I gave them 5 stars.

So the place is nice, the staff is nice but the business is dishonest.I went it and got my nails done total $90 which I expected. I give her my card and she charges 93.50 I asked her what is that for and she says taxes. I asked for the receipt and the receipt says non cash adjustment fee. They charge you for using your card and if you pay them cash you don’t get charged that fee. Not honest and they do they so they can play with the IRS at the end of the year. I personally will be contacting the irs and let them know. They don’t have a sign that says we charge you more than the merchant fee to use your card. So I’ve already sent a letter and took pictures of the receipt. You should let your customers know about this fee plus you shouldn’t lie and say it’s taxes.

Less than 2 weeks ago, I had a botched poor nail job somewhere else. My sister in law has been recommending Zen Nails for a while, and I finally tried it today! GREAT PLACE! My nail tech took care of my nails and paid attention to what I wanted. She didn’t rush just to get to the next person (most other places do). I’ll definitely be coming back for sure!For the picture, I wanted dip in color #70 on my real nails.

My manicure was very thorough and turned out beautifully. The salon has a very pleasant atmosphere and staff.

Do not go here! The lady tried to do my pedicure with obviously dirty tools! I could still see the dead skin on the scraper when she tried to use it on me during my pedicure. When I pulled my foot back and told her she needed to use clean tools, all of a sudden she couldn’t speak/understand English when she was speaking it fine before. On top of that, they are super slow. I would never spend another dime in that place!

This was my first visit and I couldn’t be happier! Tee was my nail technician. She was wonderful, professional and had a great personality. I highly recommend going here. Thank you so much I absolutely love my nails!!!! I will be coming back to Zen Nails and Spa!

Its always such a pleasure visiting this salon. The technicians are always so nice and helpful and they do an AMAZING job! Ever since moving to Murfreesboro/Nashville area I only continue to come to this salon. They treat you like family and are so pleasant in conversation while your getting your nails done! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!!!! I highly recommend anyone in the middle TN area to visit this salon they are very well priced and as I mentioned above just such amazing people!!

My mom and I had an appointment at 3pm, for 2 pedicures and 1 full set acrylic nails. We arrived at 3 and my mom was asked back to the pedicure area at 330, but her nail tech did not begin until 4 pm!!! They rushed her pedicure also and pushed her out at 430.I was asked at 4pm to go wait at a manicure table to start my nails and I told the lady I had changed my mind I didnt want to get work done since it had taken so long. She apologized and put the nail polish bottle I picked out back on the shelf without cleaning it.The one lady doing manicures was going back and forth working on a mother/daughter party and was also dealing with customers coming into the waiting area. Why would I go sit at a manicure table just to wait there longer, since she wasnt even done with the mother/daughter party yet.Also they had a customer come in with no face mask and the workers didnt ask her to put on a mask even though they have several signs stating you must wear one and you must wash your hands before service. My mom told me they were not cleaning the pedicure chairs between each customer either. The shields are just there for looks, theyre not clean here.Upon my mom leaving the nail tech apologized for her wait and my mom asked about a discount for waiting over an hour. They told her 27$ instead of 30$, wow barely 10% off.Not worth it at all, Will not be back here.

I have not been happy with the nail services I received since I moved to Murfreesboro 6 months ago until I had them powder dipped and polished at Zen Nail Spa. Thank You TEE for making me happy about my nails again.

Gave reference photos and they completely ignored them. My nails are lumpy and uneven. They look worse than what I came there with..I paid 150 dollars for nails that look worse than my normal ones. Id love a refund if at all possible. Ill even come and let you guys take them back off...

Always fast and precise attention to details... I never mess them up after I leave bc they are so careful and make sure I am completely dry!!

Im giving three stars for my experience for the following reasons;• ultimately what I wanted and showed the nail technician is not what I received. My nails were too short and lumpy for a professional job.• The nail technician wasnt friendly. She wasnt very rude or anything, but she she didnt say anything to me and was rough with my hands. I got a cut from her filing my nails with the Electric drill and I pulled my hand away because it hurt but she never said sorry and cut me again.• The place was not very clean. When I sat down I had a 9:30 AM appointment, the place had just opened and there were old nails everywhere and used equipment. It was not sanitary at all.• honestly everything about this location is kind of dumpy and run down. I paid $55 for my nails, you can go anywhere for that price.

After losing my previous nail tech at another salon I had used for quite awhile, and having a bad experience with another nail tech at the same salon, I figured it was time to find a new salon. After pouring over reviews for Zen Nail Spa I decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed! Ny did my nails and she was AMAZING!! I had an appointment @ 12:30 and I was seated early. She was quick without rushing and as fast as she went all I can say is Ny has some mad skills!! My nails looked PERFECT and it was definitely money well spent! I’ve found my new nail salon and can only say I wish I would have found them sooner! ❤️

Very disappointed for my first time visit here. They were in a rush and didnt take their time to focus on the items described in the menu. If youre looking for a place to relax and get pampered, this is not the place. However if you want things done pretty quick with an okay service this is your place. This is my first and last time in here. Website services are deceiving.

I went in on Mother’s Day for a full set literally was the very first person in there when they opened. I got it done without Hardly any filing. I was in there for maybe a total of 45 minutes altogether, she rushed and left my nails lumpy not even or straight and they are literally flaring out on the sides. I went back in about 30 minutes later to see if she could file them which she proceeded to do across the reception table and asked if I had a nail file at home. I will never go back and I feel really bad that my fiancé got this for me as a gift for Mother’s Day and I’ve done nothing but complain about them since.

My daughter and I go about every 3 weeks to get acrylic refills and always receive excellent service! The girls are so nice and friendly and our nails always look great! Check them out!

Scheduled an appointment per their request on line. When I arrived at my scheduled time for 4 people (2 mani/pedis and 2 pedicures) they were ready for us. Due to Covid-19 you have to wear a mask, fill out a form, and have your temperature taken. Definitely not a problem for the quality of services they provide. This is now going to be my go to nail salon.

Made an appointment over a week ago. Arrived to my appt 15 mins early and my nail tech took a walk-in.... I waited 30 mins before getting my nails done!!! Not a good experience at all!!!

Made my appointment days before today. I walked in and was seated immediately. The gentleman who did my pedicure was very nice. He made sure if he saw me flinch to ask me if i was OK. The pedicure was amazing. All.was amazing. I will totally be coming back!!

Called to make appointment and I indicated what was going to be getting done for me and my daughter. The price I got on the phone was not honored for my nails and they changed the price upon getting my nails done. One nail is crooked. The rest are uneven in length. The tech cut my skin when filing as she didn’t clear the skin from the glue. Then they changed the price of my daughters nails because they said they were too long for the price originally quoted. And if that wasn’t enough of an awful service experience, to top it all off, an $80 charge was then increased as a credit card fee was then added that no one said anything about until they charged my card. This place is unprofessional and they will overcharge for terrible service. Never again. If you value good service and nice nails you will not go to this place.

My husband and I decided to have a pedicure as a way to treat ourselves. This was our first time coming to Zen and it was absolutely an amazing experience . They did an amazing job! Upon arrival I was asked if I would like a manicure as well. So glad I decided to let Shay do my nails. She is exceptionally talented and such a sweetheart. I not only have a new manicurist but feel like I have made a new friend as well!!

I drove 50 minutes from Nashville to get my nails done since all the salons are still closed. I randomly picked Zen based on the reviews from google. Ni did my nails and did an absolutely wonderful job! She was thorough and gentle and made sure I was completely happy. I will now be traveling to Murfreesboro to get my nails done as I have been unable to find a place this good in Nashville.

I love Amy n Ni. They r very talented n friendly. N thats important to me. Its uncomfortable for me to go to a nail salon where the techs r not friendly n continually talks n laughs to their other techs in their home language. I understand thats their language, however I feel thats disrespectful to a client when they r doing their nails. But Amy n Ni dont do that. They engage with me. Thats why I chose to stay with this salon. I followed Amy from Majestic where I had been going when I found Ni. When she left to start her own salon I couldnt find her n then my luck changed when Amy left Majestic to Ni n low n behold I found Ni. So here I am. My new Nail Salon. N Im happy here. Ty Amy n Ni.

Amy was my nail tech and she did a wonderful job with my acrylic full set and eyebrow (wax). • Zen Nails was free of clutter, following COVID-19 recommendations, clean, and the staff were friendly. I was greeted upon entry and seated right away (wasnt a busy time). Pricing for services is fair and similar to other salons. • Overall I had a positive experience, no complaints, and do plan to return.

Made a reservation online in the time slots provided 4 hours in advance. Got a text with appointment time. Showed up at scheduled time and she said she never confirmed the online appointments. You should not provide time slots to choose if you are booked at that time! Should not send texts confirming appointments if it is not actually confirmed! Do not recommend and will never be back.

I’m 54 years old. My feet have taken a beating through the years. I’m just now learning the importance of taking care of your feet. This place is amazing. I would highly recommend Zen Nails & Spa for the most amazing pedicures. Your feet will thank you!!!

I can not recommend this place enough! I have searched it seems forever for a wonderful place to have my nails done, I finally found it. When I went in my nails were awful, they had been done and it took her so long to get them soaked off, I’m sure she was exhausted. I was so impressed when she was finished and they looked phenomenal! I get so many compliments and won’t trust anyone else.

Came here to get my nails fixed after going to the Nail Bar at the Avenue. I was so pleased with how sanitized everything was! They did not rush me, they were super kind. Hannah did an incredible job on my dip nails. I paid $70 at the Avenues Nail Bar JUST for a dip manicure which broke off easily on the extension. Here, I paid $70 and got a FULL SPA MANICURE AND PEDICURE!!! Regular nail polish on the toes was $30 (cleaning, hot towel, lotion and massage) and $40 for the new dip set. She took her time and it came out as a masterpiece. Fantastic place. They also do a loyalty rewards system which you best believe I will be utilizing every time I go here. Please- go treat yourself to this awesome place.

I moved to Murfreesboro a few months ago and tried Zen Nails and I was so happy to find a great nail salon on the first try. Ny has done my dip powder nails and she does a fantastic job. It is also a very friendly environment.

One of the worst nail jobs Ive ever had. My roommate and I just moved to this side of town and are trying to find a new nail place, after all the good reviews I was excited when I got a nail tech I had heard did good work. However she tried to argue with me that there was no difference between almond and stiletto shaped nails, so I ended up with the wrong shape and she wouldnt thin them out more despite being asked. My nail broke literally 3 hours after I got them done. My cuticles got DESTROYED, my nails had paint all around the edges that she didnt bother to clean up, and the dip powder was bumpy and not smoothed out at all. I get my nails done every two weeks religiously and have had plenty of disappointing manicures but I wouldnt send my worst enemy here. If youre looking for simple paint they have lots of colors but DO NOT get a full set or dip powder here!
