I have been coming to StarStylez since 2019. I am a black woman with fine, coily, high porosity hair, and I have not been to a hair salon that cares for my strands as well as StarStylez. They are extremely hygienic and follow the mask and sanitization guidelines imposed on us all by the ensuing pandemic, which I greatly appreciate! They have also grown my hair significantly in length and density over the course of my time with them!

Starsha was excellent. The entire staff was friendly. The place was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. My hair was done exactly how I wanted it. Its my new one stop shop. They also do nails and make up. I was even educated on how to take care of my hair until my next visit.

I had such high expectations of StarStyles.After stopping by to show the potential stylist my hair and scalp condition, they performed a mini consultation. I booked a color appointment and was informed the color appointment came with a style. Also, because of the condition of my scalp I didn’t want permanent color. I was informed they had a solution. While performing the color treatment, I began feeling extreme scalp burning and later found out permanent color was put in my hair. I just told them the day before my scalp couldn’t handle the permanent. To make matters worse, I was put under the dryer with the color in and told the stylist my head was burning. She proceeded to say “it’s only going to be 5 more minutes”. Afterwards she proceeded to wash the color out and I went home. As I expected, a few hours later my scalp became inflamed.The next morning I called and explained the situation. The stylist said no cost would incur for the scalp treatment and braids. While at the shop, apparently their scalp treatment consists of parting your hair and spraying water on your scalp, followed by oil. Afterwards she proceeded to say that would cost $35. She just told me a couple hours earlier their was no cost. Feeling frustrated, I just walked out. Later that night I received a text saying they were canceling my appointment. Obviously, I was there for the appointment but didn’t appreciate the change in cost for the scalp treatment.I do not recommend this salon. They proceeded to put permanent color in my hair when I suggested another service. Then they tried to charge me for the scalp treatment after saying it was free. Finally, they cancelled an appointment I showed up for.

StarStylez is the perfect All-In-One, hair and nail salon, if you are looking for a one-stop-shop beauty and luxury experience. Then you add the lovely boutique, located within the salon to that beautiful experience and you’re sure to find some lovely items (clothes, purses, jewelry etc.) to take home with you and enjoy. Starsha and her amazing staff are always extremely professional, friendly and courteous to all customers. I am extremely happy with my StarStylez fabulous treatment during my regular hair and nail appointments. My hair and nails are always exactly per my request thanks to Starsha and her amazing team!!

It has been at least three years since my first visit to StarStylez and I cannot imagine frequenting another establishment for my beauty care needs. The staff is friendly and always treats everyone with dignity and respect. Especially now, during COVID. Each employee wears a mask all day each day and the owner requires customers to do the same while in the shop. Also, they clean constantly, between every client. The business is growing and the ladies are are like family! I’m a regular, appointments scheduled every two weeks. Each week I’m there, I’m always satisfied with the results: my hair, nails, and spirit. They all truly believe “you are A STAR...a star in your own light.” As a professional women myself, these professionals always remind me to live their mantra...”BE THE STAR YOU ARE!” Take some time and schedule a visit. The time spent, no matter the length, will be time we’ll spent. I always leave with feeing more beautiful, both inside and out.

I been going to Starstylez salon for 3 months now, I’m always treated very well and customer service is excellent. This salon is very friendly and professional I always get the best service, I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Well first off i waited over an hour for my appointment that i made several days beforehand. The stylist was just starting to add extensions on the client before me when i sat down. I waited over an hour before she finally told me she was ready, even though she initially told me it would be a 15 minute wait. She was extremely rough with my head and it was a little uncomfortable. My hair did not come out at all like i had asked for because she rushed with my color. Alltogether was a very unprofessional visit and i was overcharged for something im not even happy with. I wont be going back here again that is for sure.

Hands down the best salon Ive been to and Ive been to a lot very friendly and professional I was actually able to hold a conversation with them and I was there for over an hour Ill definitely be back in the future

I found the salon through google and was immediately impressed with the professional and very detailed website. As soon as I arrived for my first appointment I knew I was in good hands. Starsha and all of the stylists are friendly, knowledgeable and truly care about clients! I also love that she also has such a wide variety of services and a boutique as well! I loved it so much I actually made appointments for two of my children too! I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. I would HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone who is need of quality services at a fair price...and remember, you get what you pay for. You will not be disappointed with your experience!

Great experience! I found this salon after searching online, and gave it a try. No regrets. I went to get my hair pressed, but left with a mani-pedi as well! They were very kind and respectful of my time, trying to make sure I wasnt just sitting around at any point. Staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. I will be back again.
