My daughter loves Sylvan! We are halfway through the summer program and she is already making improvements! She now wants to read books to us and her confidence has soared!

THEY ARE GREAT! I highly recommend Sylvan Learning Center. They are great at figuring out what your child is struggling with and making a plan to get them back on track. They are also really good at communicating with parentsabout how your child is doing.

My son is a lot more confident and eager to learn. There is never any kicking and screaming when its time for his sessions. That alone tells me a lot!

When our son missed the last few months of Kindergarten due to COVID we noticed he was struggling to keep up when he entered the first grade. Sylvan got he right back on track in no time.

We have been utilizing Sylvan for enrichment programs and find them to be amazing. I started using them this past year when the school was not providing enough academic opportunities for my honor roll student. We increased utilization for both children when school was released for safe at home guidelines. The programs are challenging and individualized for the students needs (gifted or struggling). They measure learning so there is no guessing about the programs impact. I am not typically a fan of testing for academics. However, with all the institutions that identity this as a standard measure for entrance it is comforting to have established outcomes. Judith, in the Murfreesboro location, is an excellent resource and guide for identifying the best resources. Despite community recommendations, we may opt to homeschool in the fall for the first part of next year. We have never considered homeschooling in the past. Sylvan is now providing options on zoom. This will definitely be a part of our routine in the year to come. I would highly recommend them.

The reason I recommend Sylvan of Murfreesboro because first impressions are everything to me they made my daughter and I feel welcomed and excited to learn. They showed more interest in helping then the school my daughter attends. Please if your child is in need of help please contact them!

We are very thankful and impressed by the progress they’ve made with our 6 year old daughter. At the end of Kindergarten last year, she felt defeated and had lost most of her excitement for learning. After working with my daughter for months unsuccessfully, we decided to try Sylvan, which has made such a huge difference for my daughter. She has more confidence in her abilities and is moving towards grade level faster than expected. She loves coming each week, and she really loves the tokens she receives to spend at the Sylvan Store!

Both of my children have attended Sylvan Learning Center of Murfreesboro. One for a struggle and one to maintain/excel. Both kids love it as they make it fun to learn as well as engaging with rewards.As a parent, seeing your child struggle and not being able to fix it is most frustrating. Sylvan has taken that frustration away from me! upon evaluation, my daughter could not recall common words that she had previously mastered. Every time she would see the word “the” was the first time!! It was awful! Sylvan identified the problem and she started the program and MAN, has it paid off!! She is now reading street signs and books!!Sylvan, I cannot thank you enough! Thank you for giving my daughter the skills and confidence to succeed!!!

If you want your son or daughter to be above the level requested by the schools Or if your child simply does not reach the level, Sylvan is a very good option.Children learn without stress and have a lot of fun.My son doesnt like school and thats why he doesnt feel like it, but I can see he is learning more with Sylvan.

My son who is 6yrs old goes to Sylvan for Reading. He loves going there after school! He has improved a great deal and has only been going there a little over a month now. The staff are all friendly and even my very shy son has had no issues opening up. That’s a miracle because he usually shutdown on meeting new people.

Sylvan has been such a blessing to my daughter. Her school work continues to improve by the week and she always looks forward to her visits. They are kind yet professional and we always greeted with smiles when we walk in.

My daughter is going to a Reading/Writing class and she seems to enjoy it so far. She has only been there a month but she seems to have improved in class even in that short amount of time. The staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend Sylvan if you need help for your child- It wasnt working with ME trying to help her, so its nice to have an outside source to work with your child.

The study skills course has literally changed my son’s life. He is taking it as a junior in college and the difference in his grades is remarkable. I only wish we had found it sooner. His little brother is heading to college this fall and we are planning on enrolling him as well during his second semester.

My daughter has been going to Sylvan for over a year. Its helped her so much! She is almost completely caught up, which is a big deal because she was multiple grades behind when we started. She was in reading and math for a while. Now, she is only in reading because she got caught up in math. Now, she enjoys math!My son has also started this year to help with math. Highly recommend. My son has been struggling with reading and math. When we first started he wouldn’t even try to pronounce a word because he was not confident enough and was afraid to say it wrong; but now he has gain confidence on himself and has improved bunches!

Sylvan is so good ! For the second time i have requested their service, the first time was with my daughter when she first came to Tennessee. She didnt know any English and within 6 months she was able to write and speak the language perfectly good. I highly recommend it.

This place has been great and has helped my child dramatically improve his grades in school. My child also likes to go there because of their ways of teaching. To reward the kids, they let them select prizes after saving up enough points. Overall, this has helped my child so much for school.

I am a junior at MTSU and this semester I started coming to sylvan. I am doing the study skills program and it has been a huge help for me in college. My grades have improved drastically and I only wish I started coming here earlier. I tell all of my friends struggling in school to come here, its great.

I learn a lot better here than i normally do. The people are super nice and help you as much as you need it. They don’t judge if you don’t know what your doing. my grade has went from a D to a B in a month of visits!!!!
