Wish I could give zero stars!!!!Has to be one of the RUDEST front desk person I have ever come across. As soon as I walked thru the door the rude older lady made me feel unwelcome & angry. It’s not necessarily what she said but how she said it with her very bad attitude.I chose to take my car there, I would think especially right now with everything going on they would welcome my business. I will NEVER go there again because of that woman. The other guy I talked to was very helpful and professional.
I went to this place with a issues with the drivers side mirror got an estimate last Monday and one of the workers stated he would order the mirror and be replace it I have not heard from them since I did call them two days later and they said they would call me when the mirror came in I never heard back from them

I had insurance work done here in the past--the work I had done was good and fast! So I decided to take my truck here for an estimate for some minor body work that I needed. I stopped by on a Monday but was told there were no technicians available ....OK! so I made an appointment with the lady at the front desk who asked Is it an insurance job?. I told her no and watched as she wrote down my appointment time for 8:00 am the following Saturday. My husband arrived with my vehicle for the Saturday appointment and they had no record of an appointment. Someone took pictures and told my husband they would contact us with an estimate. I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING FROM GERBER! Still impressed with the $7000 job they did on my other vehicle, I called to follow-up almost 3 weeks later--a lady put me on hold and then came back on the line --apologized and stated that someone would call me back by the end of the day! This was almost 2 weeks ago! ...1)your customer service could use some additional training and 2) your giving the impression that a small job is something that your technicians shouldnt waste their time with! No need to follow-up now, Ill call MAACO to see if they want my money. And will make sure that my friends and family know the service they can expect if they consider doing any business with Gerber.

If he says it might not be done, it still mostly likely will. He is a man of his word, who works hard and takes pride in both the final outcome and his client relationships— what more could you ask for? I had done copious research before entrusting my car to Tim. I had spoken with multiple competitors, suppliers (of reconditioned and OEM parts), and friends who had recently had repair work done. Through this process, I have learned more about auto body repair than I ever expected to know. And I can say with certainty that my family and I (with four cars in our household) will only work with Tim going forward.I picked up my car today, with replaced bumper cover, grille and parking sensor. I could not be happier with the end result. The car was clearly worked on with care— and returned clean, inside and out. The process from beginning to end was seamless, with Tim navigating the repairs and Linda (the CFO) as the primary touch point. There was never a moment in which I suspected that my car had been forgotten about or was lingering too long at any point in the process. All of the work was completed within 3 days of drop-off, even though a supplement was needed from insurance (upon discovering further damage).Thank you, Tim and Linda, you really are the best! I had just under five thousand in repairs on my 2015 Ford f150 king ranch which is made entirely of aluminum. They did an outstanding job, were prompt, polite and professional! They also provided and installed four new tires, balanced and aligned. They even cleaned inside and out of my truck! A pleasant surprise! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
After my wheel-well and linkage had been bashed in, Gerber repaired to like-new condition, sending frequent texts advising of progress, as well as courteous, professional calls from the estimator (Tim C.).
Did a great job on my front end when I hit a deer.
Thursday there was a progress update claiming the vehicle would be done by the 21st.Friday there was a call saying the vehicle was finished.That seeming very unlikely Gerber collision was asked to double check because the day before the progress said it was 12 days before itll be finishedThey double checked and said the progress update must have been a mistake and the vehicle is finished and must be paid for and picked upLeft work early to get there before they close and asked again if they were sure it was doneThey pulled out the file and showed it was done and asked for paymentAfter paying I was brought outside to a vehicle that was not mine ... Not even the same colorA refund was refused and a request for compensation for wasted time and money over the incompetence resulted in their manager arguing with me and yelling at me that it was a mistake and I am responsible for wasting my own timeNumerous times asking if they are sure it is done and being lied to about it was my fault in their eyes ... My fault that that lied repeatedly

Girl up front very friendly and forth coming, Melissa did the estimate on my car, congrats to her for her promotion to estimator!!!! To George Mc Henry the General Manager,for reassuring me about the all brand new parts, (Honda), that were put on, when the insurance company sent them shabby parts, he let them know in no uncertain terms, he was not putting any old shabby parts on the customers car. for that i was elated because Illinois does not give you a choice, like Indiana does. To Tom who reassured me that my car would look brand new again, and i was also told that he is the best, and he will be working on my car. I had no qualms... They live up to there workmanship, true PROFESSIONALS!!!!!!
Some idiot rear ended me in my new truck. So I took it to Gerber and they repaired it so it looks like new again. Quick and profession body shop. They do free estimates too so you know what to expect. Would recommend them for sure.

Id give a zero if I could! A neighbor hit us as we were parked. There was a rust spot on fender( dent from where they hit us was about a foot above a rust spot) so while in the process of knocking out the dent instead of fixing it, they knocked a huge hole out of the van. Dont worry about the rust, its not there anymore! Now instead of a rust spot by the fender, its a huge empty spot. Weve now had to hire an attorney to pursue suit against them

The worst auto body shop. I will never refer anyone to this busines shoddy work. Took in my 2013 Mercedes from an insurance claim. I was rear ended, minor damage to the body, but my alignment was off, the shop owner Jeff claimec that this didnt occur due to the collision. Talked to several auto shops includingMercedes dealership. Just like I suspected tge alignment was off because of the rear end collison. Never take your car not even a hoopity, your vehicle be worse off than before. I told the guy upon the inspection what was wrong. Bad business owners!!!
