No COVID protocol was followed. On top of that the security is very white centric for the majority of Mtn View I suggest going to Monte Carlo over this white centric spot. Good luck!!!

They are not following any COVID protocols. The staff was not helpful at all in ensuring that COVID protocols are followed. I would highly suggest not going here anytime soon. Not helpful staff. They are neither checking for Vaccination cards nor ensuing masks

1. Bartenders are unfamiliar with many common cocktails: midori sour missing midori and cherries, Adios missing blue Curaçao, Malibu sunset missing cherries and low rum to juice ratio. 2. Drinks cost between $9-18 each but very weak. 3. Music mostly old hip hop/odd transitions, no EDM. Overall, vibe of patrons: standoffish and unfriendly. Club decor OK, small crowd for a Sat night but that might be covid.

We had our Holiday party at the Opal Event Center and the party was a huge success thanks to all the great support from Cat and Jean-Marie. The communication was easy and Cat patiently answered all my questions and welcomed me numerous times in the venue to discuss the evening. She made great suggestions, found an amazing DJ that checked all the boxes, and even put together a fun slideshow with photos I provided! Jean-Marie was there for the evening and made sure that nothing fell through the cracks and I could enjoy the evening to the fullest. Great service, great support - thank you!!

Great place, great vibe. Went for a Halloween event, and bought tickets in advance. I would give them a better rating, but they opened almost an hour late, and the DJ could have been better (music and song choice was hit or miss). The venue looks amazing though. Reservations and bottle service is on point.

We had a fun night out here for my nieces birthday. The pianists were talented musicians as they not only played piano but, drums and guitar. It was a fun, sing along time. The food wasnt great but the wait staff was really attentive. I went to the bar for a drink and received prompt friendly service. I would definitely plan a night out here again.

I dont favor hip hop music, but the DJ was amazing and the people where really fun, cant wait for the next party

Great nightclub, but if I pay for bottle service, why cant the server bring me drinks from the bar other than the bottle I bought? The whole point of bottle service is to have a table and a server. But if the server cant do anything but pour drinks out of the one bottle, then its kind of pointless. I would have given for stars if not for this dumb policy.Update: the management reached out to me and was very accommodating. Im happy to change their rating based on the great customer service.

Nice event space that can hold a hundred or more. Can get a bit loud and host live music. Really appreciated this venue for a corporate event and get together. Nice options for standing or sitting.

I loved their Saturday DJ, was playing all known pop number both old and new. Patio smoking was good as we didn’t had to walk out all the time, drinks are bit on pricy side.

This is a cool place for a night party, seems to be pretty safe and music is just about fine. Heard the music scene for better earlier but its very subjective but everything else is good. Right pricing, right ambience.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Opal and it was beyond amazing. The whole staff and the beautiful girls helping us out all night went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Definitely should get bottle service for any type of celebration. You won’t regret it!

It was the best night. I went for my birthday last night. I put my name on the guest list and I won a free bottle and a free table. Our waitress was on point. All of the staff was great. We reserved the private area upstairs at Opal on a Friday night and had a great time! Our group was able to relax and drink in our own space and then head downstairs to the dance floor. The music is hip hop and top 40s - right up my alley! Rachel Hart hosted us and did an amazing job! Ill definitely be back with my friends for a good time in downtown Mountain View!

Have gotten bottle service a few times over the last 12 months, I go to the City a lot and also to Vegas, have to say the service Ive gotten at Opal surpasses them all!! Some of the friendliest hostesses in the Bay Area, and excellent music to boot!. Highly recommend to anyone trying to do something special for a special someone....or just looking for a girls or guys night out.

Had an amazing time with my girls! Michael was really helpful made the whole bottle service process super easy and Nysia was amazing! very friendly took very good care of us. Definitely recommend it. ( Also forgot to mention bottle prices are really good compared to other clubs Ive been to)

This is a great place! The best nightlife spot in Mountain View and one of the top 3 in the bay area. We luv going here. Its an upscale place (they adhere to the dress code) with always a great friendly and diverse crowd. We always enjoy going here. Extra helpful bar staff and VIP staff, friendly security, all staff there are polite. Various DJs thruout the month. We wont hesitate to continue going back!

Michael and his staff was super friendly, very attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. We booked the upstairs room and it was plenty of space for a party of 20-30 people.

The dj SUCKED, my first time going here, i was looking forward to dancing and the DJ sucked. Does not know how mix songs, does not know how to sustain a good dance flow. Thinking you are getting ready to let loose and dance and he switches the tempo. Very disappointed. No wonder every where else has a line to get this place doesnt.

Came to celebrate a friends birthday and OPAL did not disappoint, the server was very friendly and attentive, sadly I dont remember her name but if I see her working I will stop by.

We hired SF Mixology for a team building event that was hosted at Opal. The space was beautiful and very accommodating. They contracted out food that we absolutely delicious and my employees loved the experience.

Amazing DJs, staff is always super nice and the crowd cant be beat. Definitely an awesome place for a girls night since the crowd is clean and respectful and the bar tenders know how to make original drinks.

Went for Diwali Celebration through eventbrite ticket, had really bad experience with the Lady who check the ticket in the entrance, she tries maximum to reject free ticket and collect money, she scold people in front of others to create scene, so people will pay immediately, she ill-treat desis so bad...

I didnt love this place, mainly because they are not sure if they want to be a pub, club or a restaurant. Theres all three, and the crowd isnt great. Drinks are average - not great, not terrible. Nothing makes me want to go back.

If I could give this place a negative star, I would! My husband and I went to this club on a Saturday (10/1) and was treated with the most disrespect and not only the owner but by his security staff as well. My husband and I were turned away based on the fact that he had a tattoo on his neck and without out further explanation of just, the tattoo on his neck. I proceeded to ask the security why is that a problem and he couldnt give me a reason. They were very rude and disrespectful for no apparent reason. My husband had been racially profiled before we even got into the line. I heard the one security tell his counterpart, nope, not him. I asked the head of security to speak to the owner, and I was told that he was on there, which was a blatant lie. My husband then points out that there is the owner right there, a mere, 30 seconds after I was told a boldfaced lie that he was not there tonight. I immediately approached the owner and said excuse me, sir, can I speak to you for a second? My husband and I have been here before, and now we are being told we can not get in because of his tattoo. Is there any reason why he cant get into the club? He is in dress code and has been inside before. With that being said he vaguely respond in a dismissive way I dont know, ask my head of my security and turned his back to me to finish out his conversation. Which in my opinion was extremely rude. I approached this man in a very respectful way. They solely based the reason of not allowing my husband in because of his tattoo. We were both in dress code, looking very well and we are both two hard working people. He was racially profiled, humiliated and disrespected solely based on his looks and being an African American man in Mountain View! The treatment that we received was unwarranted. I then asked the security guard what does having a tattoo on your next equate to, troublemaker, drug dealer, the terrorist? What does it mean? It was not a tattoo of a gang sign or anything derogatory but a tattoo of our child! My thoughts were, so everyone in this club has ZERO tattoos. Meanwhile, someone comes to the door from inside of the club with tattoo up the front of his next (white male, might I add). I pointed him out, and then the security proceeded to ignore the blatantly evident that there is some on inside of the club with a tattoo on his neck. So I guess there was an exception to the rule (not being of color). Lastly, while we stood there to let our friends no that we would not be joining their party the security goes on to say this is Mountain View so they should know whats up That was a very racial and offensive comment to say to people of having visited your establishment before. My husband and I will not be returning to this club let alone the city of Mountain View since this is how they roll. Very disheartening experience based on all of the hate going on in America today! So if you were to ask us if we would recommend this club to any of your friends my response would be HELL NO!

Very sparsely crowded on a Saturday. DJ wasnt so good. They dont charge cover fee between 9.30 and 10.30. Other than that nothing too good about it.

Cover was $5.Overall club is OK, but loudspeakers definitely needs to be replaced, as sound was awful.DJ was bad, and the most annoying person was photographer, who used flashlight a lot.

They were supposed to close at 2am, instead of that they closed at 1.15am and we came in at 1am. So they made us pay $20 for 15min.
