Due to pandemic my car had been not used as much, He so quickly understood the issue and provided expert advice on what I had to do in order to pass the smog test, it was such an easy tip that had everything working. I have a 1977 Jeep and it is becoming harder and harder to find a smog test station that will test an old vehicle. The place I used to go to will no longer test old vehicles. This was my first time here and I was completely satisfied with the service. Andrew was even able to shift my Jeeps 44 year old truck 4 speed transmission properly! Very few of the previous smog techs Ive been to have been capable of that. I highly recommend this place.

I have been to this location several times, but my most recent visit was an outstanding experience. Andrew was exceptionally polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the smog testing process. I have a large old SUV that many stations are unwilling to smog check or charge extra to run the test. My smog check took about 20 minutes and the cost of the smog check was the standard rate.

Response time is quick and within same day.Quick service- was helped right away as a walk in on a week day.Facility is clean and can find decent parking on street as well as a small parking lot in the back.Best of all, staff are professional, friendly, honest, knowledgeable and welcome everyone with a smile.Great experience also on my second visit for a retest (free retest). First time having smog check at Andrews new location which is just off El Camino near Sherwin Williams and Papa John’s pizza (entrance on Boranda). I have been to his previous downtown location many times; same great service. He is a nice guy, professional service with a smile! I have been going to him for years. He accepts credit cards, its an easy walk to Clarkes Burgers if there is a wait (but if he takes you right away takes about 10 min).

Been here a couple of times and am very happy with my experiences. Andrew does great work at an incredibly fair price. This is my go to place for smog checks on any of my vehicles and any of my friends/familys vehicles as well.

I HATE getting a smog check. Most of my experiences have been either dirty, loud pits where I fear for my car or super-expensive high-pressure sales joints. So I was quite joyful to find this place some years ago and have used it exclusively for our familys 4 cars since. I dont know for sure, but it has the feel of an owner-operated business. Same guy always there, things are neat and tidy, the cars are treated with respect, and the charges are very competitive.

Service was quick and employee was friendly enough. The location is tidy and conservative. The price was a little higher than others, but my time is more important, so it was worth the slight delta. This is a STAR certified facility, so it should satisfy all your smogging needs. This site is Test Only, so if youre having problems, then this is probably not the place for you.

I have used these guys for my last two smog checks. Efficient and friendly, especially since they added a second emissions testing technician. $50 to test my 2006 Miata. These guys are working hard and theyve earned their 5-star rating. You will most likely be in and out in 10-15 minutes.

The best smog check place weve ever been to. My husband and I have been bringing our cars to Mountain View smog check, and now that my elderly parents have returned to California, theyve been bringing their cars in, too. Hes been very kind to them. The owner is the operator, and he is very efficient with time, but never acts rushed. He tends to be quiet, but not when its important, and hes always clear, concise and direct with explanations and instructions. And heres the topper: Yesterday I took in my car, and he brought to my attention a safety issue. The radiator hose is bulging and about to blow, and if he hadnt been the mindful type, Id have been very inconvenienced by a blown hose, or ending up in a very unsafe situation. Thanks to his alertness and clear, urgent concern, I now have the convenience of having the hoses replaced at my mechanics shop today, before a blow . Im so very appreciative. And getting back to smog-check testing, this place simply makes a task-errand a simple and very nice one. I got my car smogged and certified in 10 minutes for $42 (price depends on your car). It was fast, easy, and convenient. The guy that did the test is also the owner and he was quiet for the most part when he was getting the test done and was cordial and professional.

These guys are awesome. My girlfriends old Buick failed smog due to an out of state catalytic converter but passed everything otherwise. The folks here recommended an excellent muffler store which pointed us in the right direction to the vehicle through its smog check.
