Nice store and some of the nicest associates that I have ever encountered. Store is neat and everyone was helpful. This place is worth visiting because you will see again the way a store should be run. They had check out lines open, people to answer questions. Very good experience.

They need to train their employees better...one worker sent me to a completely different department, only to be sent back to where I was for the product I was looking for. One worker tried to argue with my husband saying an outswing door he wanted isnt code (it is...just not common) and he proceeded to say it is illegal to sell outswing doors. The cashier was about to have a nervous breakdown because they brought us up the wrong french door set... At least they had just about everything we needed and the store was clean.

Older English (?) Sounding gentleman helped us right out. We can in like 15 minutes to closing with a TV mount that didnt come with bolts. He told us what all we needed and even made sure we were going to have the correct tools to do the job with!

Over the last couple of months my husband and I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this store (Lowes in Mountain Home AR). Everything has been wonderful except today!!!! It was raining HEAVY and we needed to grab some plants so we parked very close to the garden area door. We ran in did our shopping and when we went to check out at lawn/garden area there was no staff at the check out. Then we noticed the gates were closed and locked. So I spoke to one man in the garden area and they said unfortunately he couldn’t check us out or let us through the gates to our truck. So.,,., Keep in mind it’s POURING RAIN (not sprinkling) and we have 2 carts full of stuff!!!! So I talk to another employee and they tell me they are “sorry about that” blah blah blah. So my husband and I had to push 2 carts full... across the parking lot to garden area and all of our stuff got soaked and we got soaked and it sucked !!! We got water all in our vehicle too! I won’t spend another penny at this store!!! Heads up and wake up ... that door closing policy needs to be re-evaluated!

Customer service is great....once you find an employee. Even he was searching for the product cause it was stored in the wrong place. Continued reason why Lowes is not my first choice to shop fir building supplies.

As one of the largest contractors in the area we are always careful where we buy our material from because it matters to our customers. Lowes always has the best price the customer service is amazing and the material is a good quality

Purchased several trees in the last 3 months and 2 died. I couldn’t find my receipt but thought they could look it up by phone number or credit card number. Brought trees to customer service and she wouldn’t even look it up and was rude about it, guess the nose rings and lip rings went to her head. Great customer service lol but guess I’ll be purchasing everything from Home Depot from now on.

I had to return an item that had broke after a couple uses, which does happen sometimes. The people at the customer service desk were extremely helpful. Jason,the manager and a lady named Jamie were very accomodating and went above and beyond. Thank you for your kindness.

The environment is really different than other hardware stores.. You have to actually seek someone out for help.. But, the only reason Im giving it 5 stars is because of one particular associate, Tatiana(sp?) She exceeded in making my trip there worth it, after a horrible experience from across the street. Once I got help (long wait) in kitchen area, staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Took 3 minutes and I was on to my next item. Electrical (again, long wait for help) took the time to educate me (he was direct and very patient,) got me what I needed, and directed me to plumbing. Plumbing was quick. I explained what I was doing, what I needed. Staff asked a few questions and loaded me up. Check out was fast. However. I left one small bag behind. I contacted customer service, identified my purchase, set date to pick up. Thanks very much for the help.

Remodeling our whole kitchen. The cabinet department was very helpful. Appliances were great. 6 grand later, our kitchen looks great. Military discount was very helpful. Only issue I have, they need to hire more help

In all of my years of doing this never have I experience customer service the way that this particular store delivers it. The prices are extremely fair and the quality of material Is good. I highly recommend this store over any other in North central Arkansas.

Sold me a used chainsaw about 2 months ago that the was 100% sure was only a display model yet they couldnt find a chain or gas cap . After waiting a hour I had to buy it cause I had a lift rented . I go buy chain and gas cap $50 put chain on and discover dirt n wood chips under chain guard . It ran for 4 cuts n never got it restarted. I was out $312 for lift $50 for gas cap and chain. My time and gas returned saw and they where rude n would lift a finger to help with costs called corporate n never heard back from them . I was lied to n that cost me a bit of money

One of the Most unfriendly people I have ever come across. When I called, I was transferred to several different departments except the one I asked for. Then no one would answer. After letting it ring for 25 minutes, I hung up and called again. After asking for management, I finally got to talk to the girl that works curtains and shades and she was rude and unfriendly. Over talked me so I could not say anything and talked to me like I was stupid. Never go to lowes in mountain home AK.

Very crowded. Difficult to get around or locate a cart for lumber. No assistance offered to help load a large lumber and Quikcrete order.

Made lowes our preferred choice years ago always had good service an very easy on returns when needed...

This store has a nice garden center but doesnt have any plant shelves or tables and when I asked about it I was told to look in shelving. By the time I got there I was tired and in a little pain( you see I had a stroke last year and this place has no riding carts) and the only thing in this department was pvc pipes. So all in all a waste of time.

I can usually find what I need here. The veterans discount has allways been available unlike another hardware store that I shop at. Staff help load my truck.

Getting discouraged with the constant shuffling of products from one area to another. Associates are hard to find and Ill being constantly told its not their department. Finally, sorting trade items by brand and not by its intended purpose is counterproductive to quick picks from both the time spent (company time) and possible covid exposure.

The associate went above and beyond her duties to secure the discount and purchase criteria for my not easy to-please hubby on our purchase of a new generator. She was professional and left us both impressed!

I am particularly fond of their paint line. The workers in this dept are efficient and very knowledgeable of their products. In and out in a jiffy.

I just purchased a washer from Lowes. The salesman was very good. They had exactly what I was looking for and they were able to deliver it (free delivery) very quickly. I even got a $100 discount for opening a Lowes credit card.The delivery men, Walker and Dakota, were prompt, courteous and efficient. They arrived when they promised, hauled away the old washer (small charge) and installed my new one.Thanks, Lowes, for making a special effort to meet my needs.

Lowes is already known for helping the communities they serve and for the ample selection of items on hand for the beginner to professional that covers every aspect of your home improvement needs from A to Z. They also offer super friendly customer care with help around every isle if you need assistance. Now they also offer the Lowes card discount among others but also in our area offer a Military discount, if you dont already have a My Lowes card get one and have it applied on line then its just a matter of showing the card at checkout to get this awesome discount. Today I noticed another Military Appreciation perk, Veterans Parking! It is on the handicapped row here in Mountain Home and they even installed an American Flag to further designate its location. Lowes was started by Veterans and they fully include the communities they serve and this extra perk for us who served validate their intent and commitment to their roots. Ive been a Lowes customer for years now and will continue to be so. They give back just as much as they receive and I salute them for their contributions to all the communities they serve!

Went to the appliance department and gave them the model numbers on the dishwasher and microwave that I wanted to purchase. During the 40 minutes it took to complete my purchase, 3 different people had to be involved. One couple arrived a few minutes after me and they waited for 30 minutes and finally gave up and left. From my experience today, Lowes needs to get there act together, the amount of time it took is unexceptable.

Also carry many house plants and succulents, along with all the gardening supplies youll need.I could go on and on with this review, I am so excited and pleased to have Lowes within a few minutes to my house where before I moved it was over an hour.God bless our beautiful country!

I have spent thousands of dollars a year at mountain home Lowes over the last 13 years. Have been a loyal customer. Last few months there has been a big change. Tom in appliances is extremely rude and needs to find a new job that he likes. There is a management problem for sure. Everything I have asked for I am told, dont have it and dont know when we will. Once about treated lumber! They had none. What dont they understand about the term lumber yard? The excuses lately has been covid, trucking company, and suppiers. Had ordered shutters for house a month ago. Delivery date came and went. Since they are struggling I have been going to Home Depot. They dont have excuses and seem to know how to adjust to adversity. Have lumber, even with covid going on. Management needs to go, then find someone who can adjust and find new trucking companies and suppliers on the fly. That is how business is done.

When you go into the store you have to find the people to help you and it seems like nobody wants to help you they walk off the other way you call out to them and they still keep walking away then when I finally did track somebody down I showed them the product on my cell phone that I was interested in purchasing they told me what aisle it was in when I walk down the aisle The Isle had been closed off by their Gates and when I asked them to get product for me they were busy so I did not get the product that I wanted when I went to the store oh, so I guess they dont need the business or the workers are too busy doing their own things chit-chatting and whatnot

The aisles are clogged with displays making it near impossible to have a cart and get around in this store. Prices are much higher than the competition, so why would you shop here ?

I try find some to help me in Appliance dept I cant find anybody so I had to have somebody from paint dept to help me.

April, a customer service associate, is a gem. Im currently home sick and could not get to the store to pay for a new refrigerator and had questions about the online order. The appliance associate was busy and the call went to her. I asked her the question which she answered but she then went above and beyond. Ordered Koehler shower in may of 2020 finally got it in August after waiting in the store for over a hour to get it brought up finally get it to the job unbox it and it’s broke so back to Lowe’s wait again get credit and the pay for it again and reorder. Finally get it the end of November get to the store wait an hour and 15 minute just to get it brought up to me!! ITS BROKE. I asked for a manager I get Jim he could care less!! I waited there 2 hours left with no shower again!! Treating people with respect and courtesy is really lost anymore I guess!! Great job JIM.. ps the people I was doing the job for needed because he had a stroke and couldn’t bath him self!! I will find them one somewhere and get the job done for them!!
