My experience with Avani was nothing short of amazing! We had gone back and forth with emails about design ideas for an engagement ring prior to me coming in to see her in person. Once I had the chance to actually come into the shop she had everything laid out and ready as well as some other design ideas and elements to help create a visual representation of what I wanted. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgable which made the experience easy and and fun! She came highly recommended to me and I would highly recommend her to anyone with jewelry needs big or small!

We had such a fantastic experience getting my engagement ring and both mine and my husbands wedding bands here. Avani was so thoughtful and considerate. I found a ring that I liked, but I thought I would love it even more with a different center stone. She made it happen, all while staying within my now-husbands budget. We also came to the store with diamonds that had been passed down to us by my husbands grandmother. Avani kept up with them and helped us create a custom wedding band that perfectly complemented my engagement ring. She thought of everything and even had my engagement band modified so that the bands would nestle together. Every time we visit the store, were treated like family (including complimentary ring cleanings--a personal favorite!!). We truly love this store!

My engagement ring from Avani bent so severely on two different occasions that diamonds fell out of the band. The repairs took so long that I did not have my engagement ring for 6 months of my 9 month long engagement. When repairs were finished, I drove to Avani’s home (per her request) to pick up the ring, and she had forgotten it. She offered a discount on my wedding band; however, the “discounted rate” was still $1,000 more expensive than the same band at Diamonds Direct. Truly had a terrible experience, and I feel like very little was done to compensate for it. I advise anyone who is looking to purchase an engagement ring to try one of the many other jeweler options in Birmingham.

My first experience with Avani was over the phone as I am from out of state. I had recently made the mistake of ordering pieces from an online retailer and I was really disappointed. I told her what I wanted and she sent me photos of the type of stacking ring that I was looking for. Once I receive the one I chose I was over the moon. The quality and craftsmanship is no match for those types of online sites. The ring was beautiful, fit perfectly and wonderful quality. My second experience was in store during the covid pandemic as I happened to be visiting the area. I felt very safe in the store, it was very clean and beautiful and the staff were wearing masks. Avani was so fun to work with she let me try on everything. Her personality and smile is infections. I ended up purchasing a rose gold pair of studs and I feel so beautiful when I wear them and they are so comfortable. I will be using Avani Rupa for all my jewelry needs. If you have the opportunity to work with her do it!!! She is so talented.

Avani and her staff were a pleasure to work with! Shop local, Avani pays close attention to your special orders. You cant expect this attention to detail from the large name brand stores.

Avani was extremely helpful in finding a diamond and setting for my fiances engagement ring. She has access to quality stones, and her process of educating me was much appreciated. She takes the time to teach you the 4 cs of diamonds, shows you the stones, then walks you through the details of the certificate. For somebody with no prior knowledge who was already overwhelmed with options at other jewelers, this made the process so much easier.Avani and the other store owners/employees are all helpful and friendly, adding to an overall great experience from looking to purchasing. The Cameo Ring is another piece I get so many rave reviews on. Ive also used Avani Rupa when I lost a Sapphire from a ring that I inherited, Avani Rupa matched the other Sapphires perfectly, the ring looks just like it did when I received it from my grandfather. I wanted a ring as I was about to propose to my girlfriend. The ring I wanted was not available but I was informed It would be available on the date I had scheduled to propose. When the day came, they had not delivered and I was left red-faced and I was forced to buy a cheap ring for that day

Where do I even begin to say how great Avani Rupa is? Avani has been nothing but helpful and kind while my fiancé and I searched for wedding bands. She went above and beyond to make sure my fiancés ring fit perfectly and even stayed open late to meet us due to the fact that my fiancé lives out of town. If I could give it more stars, I would. My fiancé and I LOVE this place. Avani, Rupa, and Carlos have been extremely helpful to us in all of our shopping adventures there. We came to them not too long ago to design and create and engagement ring for my fiancé, and they did not disappoint. We took my fiancés grandmothers old diamond and reset it into a STUNNING rose gold band with diamonds. The setting for the main stone was gorgeous, and the rest of the ring was breathtaking as well. Now we are transitioning into our wedding bands, and they have an excellent selection of bands to choose from, or can help create your own special band that will take your breath away.They also have a breathtaking collection of other jewelry including bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and lots of other pieces that are amazing. I purchased some earrings as a present, and they did not quite fit the recipient. Avani took them from us to make sure she fixed them right up to fit perfectly.They do amazing work, and are amazing people. This is a fantastic family business that deserves everyone at least trying the place. They are low pressure, and are there to help you find what you love, not just to make a sale. 10 out of 5 stars!
