Deb did my taxes. She was very kind, professional, and prompt. I dropped them off Monday night and came back to sign them on Wednesday afternoon, but if you want same-day service they also offer walk-ins and appointments. I was SO relieved to learn that I’m actually getting a modest refund - I was afraid I’d end up owing taxes.The cost of doing my taxes was more than I thought it would be, but the fact that I have some investment accounts and an HSA made my case a bit more complex. This location even offers free coffee while you wait. I highly recommend this H&R Block - it’s very conveniently located. I especially recommend Deborah. She made the process (which I had been quite stressed about) painless and even pleasant. Thank you for the excellent service!

Been going to HR Block for 4 years. Never had an issue with the company until I came to this location.They made experience here very complicated, more than it needed to be. There was 2 issues. First, I dropped my taxes off, got a call to come pick them up a couple days later. I was asked over the phone if I wanted the fee taken out of my refund, I said yes. Im pretty sure I also signed up for it come out of my refund when I filled out the application. When I arrive to pick up my taxes, Lu at the front desk kept trying to make me pay the fee upfront, even tho I stated that I signed up for it come out of my taxes. She told me there was a $30 something processing fee, I said ok. She kept telling me to insert my card into the reader and the amount was $134, I asked why it still said that amount. 2 people from the cubicles repeated the processing fee, they didnt step out to assist or explain things. I was expecting to pick up my taxes and leave, it wasnt so easy. I just left because Lu kept insisting I pay even tho I said I signed up for the fee to come out of my taxes. I left without my return. Called back about 20 minutes later because I was so confused, spoke to Jeff. He kept telling me Youre not understanding. Theres miscommunication but yet failed to explain what the misunderstanding was and wouldnt enlighten me on what the miscommunication was. He just kept telling my what my refund was and what the fee was. All I wanted to know was WHY AM I PAYING UP FRONT WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR THE FEE TO COME OUT OF MY TAXES??? Nobody could explain why. I didnt pay upfront because I didnt have to funds to pay. Second issue, they charged my card all the money that was remaining in my account WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. When I called to ask why they did that, they said it didnt show up in their records that they charged my account, they kept asking if I was sure it was them and maybe the transaction was just pending. It clearly showed in my bank account that the transaction was COMPLETED from HR Block. I had to go through a whole fiasco with contacting the HRB service line, contacting my bank and doing a conference call with my bank and HRB to confirm that they charged my account. I had to go to the bank and print out a bank statement of my transaction history, take it to HRB as physical proof that they took money from me. Finally after all this, they give my taxes back and say that the fee will come out of my account and that I will also be refunded the amount they took from me. It was SO STRESSFUL. Why were things that complicated??? Also, the price I had to pay for my taxes was outrageous. I NEVER had to pay that much before.Also, my boyfriend, who dropped off and picked up his taxes the same time I did, had the same experience with being forced to pay the fee up front when he signed up on paper and agreed over the phone to have the fee taken out of his taxes. Both of us had the same tax specialist, Jeff. I dont know why we had the experience we did, but neither of us are ever returning this location again. While we were picking up our taxes, I overheard that Jeff is transferring to Blaine. If we decide to go thru HRB next year, we will definitely avoid that location was well.My advice to others, be careful with this location and if you start having issues to just request to speak to DEB. Shes the one who resolved everything for me.

The cost for services rendered seemed high based on the time it took to accomplish and the skill required to do the work... at a rate of $350.00 for less than an hour of work... no one gets that rate of pay... I make $20 an hour and have a college degree... they make more than 17.5 times the amount I do for less work... i am a scientist in the lab... i think yall are taking advantage just a bit...

I paid $200 dollars for two W-2s and one Tuition interest form. So $200 dollars for 3 forms to be submitted. I came in specifically for a R.A.L. Emerald card. I was told I would receive it in 24 hrs to 3 days, it turned out to be denied because my refund was to small, my agent did not tell me there was a minimum to the refund loan. So Im out $200 dollars and have no refund loan.
