Absolutely wonderful experience! I brought my 9-month old baby here (who already has 8 teeth) and the staff was so kind. When I initially booked the appointment, the front desk staff on the phone was really helpful. I thought it was great youre able to just text in photos of your insurance cards - how convenient! The dentist and hygienist that worked with my baby were so thorough and knew exactly how to engage with a baby. Upon leaving, we received a little gift bag and a balloon, which my daughter LOVED! I am so grateful to have found this clinic.Did I mention the ceilings have TVs to watch while youre getting a cleaning?! I have never seen that in a dentist office before. That is awesome! We look forward to going here for all of our future dental needs. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff! Highly recommended!!

Worst worst customer service. For all you who are working professionals like myself in meetings all day and on calls during the week day. Just an FYI west lake dentistry will cancel your appointment. If you Don’t reply confirm by txt for your appointment or answer their call during the work day while you’re in meetings to confirm your appointment. Even though you just made appointment a week or two ago . they will automatically take you off and fill your appointment with someone else. And when you show up to your appointment they’ll just say well this is our busiest day. so we had to fill it with someone else.

Routine maintenance that seems over before it starts, thanks to your choice of cable channels displayed in high resolution on the ceiling TV. Icing on the cake? It’s all free if you have the right Medicare Advantage plan.Ok, maybe not free if you consider that the Advantage plan is $107 per month, but I would keep going here even if I had to pay full retail-they’re worth it.

Dr Hastings & Lisa we’re absolutely the best! They took the time to ask questions- and they listened to me-making sure I was comfortable and understood the process every step of the way. I highly recommend West Lakes Dentistry - they know how to treat people - from walking in the front door- Kirstie & Brittni - very friendly & welcoming- to Lisa & Dr Hastings- I arrived early they saw me earlier than my appointment- I left feeling - Wow! What a great place- start to finish!

(I have to confess, not my favorite place, the dentist office right?!) but I do enjoy seeing all the friendly and caring faces.

The hygienists and dentists are worthy of praise but support staff are sometimes frustrating enough to never come back. Made an appointment for late afternoon to accommodate school schedule and called same day to confirm after receiving reminder email and was told had an earlier appointment available - 20 minutes earlier but didn’t confirm that earlier appointment on the phone so when showed up for earlier appointment reception said would let them know was in waiting area. Then 15 minutes (35 minutes later) after original appointment time had passed asked same receptionist how much longer - she then went into computer to tell me the appointment time but reluctantly eventually was willing to check and miraculously the hygienist came out right away. I happened to notice this hygienist lingering around the front desk 15 minutes earlier at the time of the appointment and she said no one let her know we were waiting in the waiting area. Forgetting about the appointment delay, the same receptionist then came into the hygienist area to hand me the price estimate- (could have done that during the 35 minutes I was waiting) but worse was the fact that instead of the price I was told over the phone for both top and bottom apparatus I was surprised to hear that the price was double because that quoted price was for each of the two apparatuses even though I explained on the phone I needed to replace both top and bottom- unfortunately too late to look elsewhere. I am finally concluding that the support staff will be the reason to look elsewhere.

Its hard to find a great dentist, so if youre in the market I recommend West Lakes. They facility is spotless and modern, the hygienists are friendly, gentle and efficient. Really cant say enough about this place - started and run by women - great for the whole family.

All of the staff have been extremely helpful and accommodating. They are upfront and honest about what their services are going to cost and make sure the procedures they perform make sense to you. The Dentists are very patient and skilled when performing their work. I dont like going to the Dentist but feel at ease here.

We LOVE this home town dentist. The Drs and Hygienists are the best! They remember my whole family and offer a personalized experience everytime we go. They are also very AMAZING with my child with special needs, so calm and patient with him. It takes a special group of people to be so understanding and caring. Its always impeccably clean and inviting when you walk in the front doors and the front office staff is truly wonderful as well. I cant recommend them enough.

All in all I am quite pleased. I had a moderately difficult procedure that I went through without any pain. To me most surprisingly was the absence of pain the following day, suggesting to this naive observer that every thing was buttoned up and taken care of nicely. Most baby-friendly dentist experience. The hygienist was tolerant and patient to my babys needs. We nursed while she cleaned and flossed. There is a wood changing table in the bathroom, not plastic, plus they had wipes. Super thoughtful. Recommended for patient patient care.

And this last point may not matter to anyone but me, but as a member of the Westonka Historical Society, I love that their office started its life as a fast-food building (that would otherwise be sitting abandoned and unattractive) and has been re-purposed into a lovely professional establishment that enhances the little town of Mound. This group exemplifies good use of resources and that speaks volumes to me.

I have a very healthy fear of the dentist. I had to replace 3 fillings that would’ve ruined my teeth (1 already broke my molar before I saw them). They were abosolutly amazing. I also had a tooth in the front bottom that stuck out like a knife and they shaved it down and it’s amazing. I love the squad they are amazing. I highly recommend west lakes!!!

They will not make you feel bad, they wont lecture - they probably realize you already know.West Lakes goes above and beyond for your comfort. TVs on the ceiling, earphones available. No big light in your eyes, comfortable chairs, some even have heat!I hated the dentist, I can no longer say that, sure, Id rather be on the boat on an 85 degree day, but they will make you comfortable.

I just recently had my 4 year old in to get her first cavity filled, and a broken front tooth pulled. She was quite nervous the days leading up to it. We left for the dentist with a few stuffed animals for moral support. I cannot say enough, how amazing Dr. Minor and her assistant were with my daughter! They explained everything to her with words she knew and understood, and they treated her with such happiness and gentle care. I am over the moon excited that she wont have a scary thought in her head when thinking of the Dentist, as so many do, they are unmatched in my opinion with customer care and service, and I would recommend them to anyone at any age!!!

Now there are two words I never thought I would use to describe my visit to the dentist.Loved it is a bit heavy but d-mn close. I was recognized and addressed by name when I arrived and everyone including the young lady at the reception desk seemed to be genuinely concerned about my comfort and explained every thing in a language I could understand. Ill admit that may have been two or three times because my fear is irrational but it is always lowered to a manageable level by the professionalism of Dr. Minor and her staff. Wonderful place with wonderful people. I could not ask for more.

My family and I recently changed insurance providers and decided we would try out the local dentist that happens to be just down the street. This facility, along with its staff, is a GEM! Everyone is very professional and courteous and took every measure to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment. Most importantly, with a second child on the way, the staff was very flexible and understood that my medical priorities were not centered around my mouth at this time. Rather than pressure me into follow up visits, they provided honest, reasonable, estimates and a number to call when ready. I will definately be returning to this facility for dental work and would recomend to anyone.

For someone who doesnt like going to the dentist, this place is awesome. They have the best hygienists who take their time with you and understand fears and anxiety. I am so thankful for West Lakes Dentistry. I had delayed cleanings and treatments for more years then I would like to admit, due to a bad experience at another Dentist which made me have anxiety & feelings of embarrassment. In August, I broke a tooth and knew I had to swollow my pride and make an appointment ASAP. I stayed up all night reading reviews on local dentists and decided to give West Lakes a try. I made an appointment that next morning, they got me in as quick as possible. When I filled out paperwork, it had questions of how I felt about going to the dentist, I decided to be super honest. When I sat down in the chair, the assistant asked me some questions and looked at my tooth. I was very emotional and started crying, she genuinely listened to my concerns, gave me a stress ball and made me feel like she actually cared. Dr. Hastings came and confirmed what I already knew and I had to have the tooth pulled. She was gentle, took time and talked me thru my options. We eventually came up with a game plan to get all the work that was needed, written down and what I could expect for costs. She didn’t overwhelm me, she gave me advice on what she felt was more important to get done and what could wait. She helped me make decisions that help me maximize my insurance benefits. I have seen a couple of the other doctors and assistants at Mound location as well, since my first visit and I love them all. I even love my hygienist, which I never thought I would ever say, in a million years. I can’t say thank you enough and will continue to recommend them to anyone

West Lakes has invested in top of the line technology and can offer me solutions my old dentist could not. Some of the problems they are fixing are issues Ive been begging to have corrected for over 16 years. Previous dentists have simply told me it could not be done, but now I have an appointment scheduled at West Lakes to make it happen. Todays cleaning and basic exam just might have been a life-changing positive experience! They have a friendly, experienced staff from start to finish - all of them professionals that are specific to the role they play at the office. Excellent dental group. They have a very good plan for uninsured patients. I can remember the exact amount but I believe its around $250/year for x-rays and two cleanings and examinations plus 15% off all other services.I went initially because of a broken tooth. They put in a temporary and a week or so later put in a cap. No problems with the cap and they do pay attention to your comfort while they do their procedures.I also like the fact that they do the old fashion cleaning and polishing and not just the sonic cleaning that many dentists do.I will continue to use them as my primary dentist.

I am 51 years old so have had a lot of experiences with dentist. I have been here twice now both with broken teeth. Those are the only two times I have ever had dentistry work done and NO PAIN and this all done without an overdoes of Novocain.The whole staff was very professional and respectful. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. They accommodated my fiance and I moving a couple appointments around to fall on the same day, so we could come in together. Love the TVs on the ceiling - makes coming in a bit more enjoyable.
