Initially I was impressed with the thoroughness of the exterminator. I had not seen any roaches until this week. Have noticed tiny roaches around the kitchen sink. I know sometimes exterminators start to cut corners or just stop doing their job after coming for years. The reason I chose to keep orkins coming in is to prevent a reoccurring festation. I am imploring you to please be diligent.

The two Orkin representatives were so polite, professional, prompt and very informative. I have two very expensive, exotic birds that I was concerned about spraying my home. The supervisor personally came (30 mile, one way drive) to inspect the home for the best, safest, chemical to use. I was extremely impressed with him (Josh). He then, scheduled a treatment and sent a super sweet young girl, who really understood our concerns, answered all questions and took all safety precautions while doing her job. I really cant express her level of care, courtesy and patience with all of my Old senile mans questions . I hope she is our new treatment person because she really represents what an outstanding worker is.

The guys were friendly enough, but I felt like they were trying to get me into services I did not need, and one they didnt have the expertise to do. I will use them, not because they have the best service, but because they responded when I felt vulnerable. I couldnt get a response from the other exterminators I tried to contact, an I needed service right away. They didnt leave me a clear contract, but my receipt showed what they said they had done. It will do for now, but I hope there is a service that actually does what it says out there somewhere...

They responded quickly and offered several solutions. The representatives were very polite and helpful. They helped relieve my anxiety.

So far the treatment they use in my home is working. They take their time and throughly inspect.

My only two complaints about Orkin is 1. The mosquito fogging is not included in the general pest control plan. I was told by the operator and the initial service member that it was and on the day of service I was told it was an additional $50. Not a big deal but I like the prices to be laid upfront like most Americans. 2. The cost of the termite prevention. It’s somewhere around $1500 for the first year and $300 every subsequent year. Can be laid out into smaller payments but I feel like it’s a large investment for something that is extremely important to owning a home.Overall I am happy with the quality of the products, the effectiveness of said products, the customer service is exceptional and all in all it’s worth the cost to go with a more reputable company. They have my business.

If you have roaches or bugs, than ORKIN is hands down the best!! I tried other companies in town and they couldnt compare. I have rental properties and needed the roaches BYE,BYE GONE! Orkin is #1.

Moultrie store management attempted to take me to task for having someone that formally worked for Orkin place a moisture barrier under my house. He insisted that I tell him who performed the work. He would not accept the fact that it was none of his business. I have had multiple issues with Moultrie store starting from the start of contract. Have had to contact National office twice for resolution. I would happily go back to Astro. Highly recommend all perspective customer beware. You maybe getting the Orkin name on the contract, your not getting the Orkin service your paying for. Expect major hassles!!!!

The service we used to get from Orkin was top notch. They have removed snakes and plugged holes for us and havent had a snake problem since. But the past few weeks have been awful. Nobody ever answers the phone and you can leave 10 voicemails and no one ever calls back. And since they have been coming back out spraying for bugs, I believe we have had more live spiders now than before. And the next day service is also not true. They always schedule is in almost a week later and sometimes never show up.

Brian has really stepped up and been very responsive and helpful. We appreciate his efforts on our behalf.

Omg ! I called on a Tuesday and gave the representative my issue and she was so helpful she told me things about bugs I had no clue about !! I got my inspection on Wednesday and Seth was early and he was perfect ! He told me everything he was doing and the time it was going to take and he told my issue was not as bad as I thought . Adam done a great job ! He informed me of everything he done to bait up the roaches and begin the process of trying to get rid of the problem . He let me know when he was at my residence, I had to have a family member to let him in but he also let me know when he left and gave me every detail as of what he done on his first visit to take care of the problem with roaches . Blake is the best “Bug Man” ever...really knows his business!!!

I had sercoce with this company for over two years. The first six months seemed great. Service was prompt and one time. After that it became kind of spotty. The technician we had left suddenly, as happens in the world, but we did not get any service for three months. When we did finally get service, it was shoddy at best. Several time we werent at home so the did the yard only. We called to have them do the inside and it was a no show for about four months. We have had at total of six technicians in a year and a half. Im retired and home 98%. We called and filed complaints (we felt they did not address). This is the second time I have used Orkin in 20 years of loving in south georgia. What the problem is? I dont know. After this last visit from the sixth technician, my wife canceled the contract. Maybe its just this branch, I dont know; but we will never use Orkin again.

Quick response and came quickly to complete inspection and came the next day for treatment. Very professional and efficient.

Brian in Moultrie serviced our home, he was professional answered questions & he even returned to service inside of home because we were not available the day he came! He left detailed invoice of what he did to service the exterior & yard. Really appreciate it!

The woman who took my call for service was very very vague about what would be done to combat our problem. She knew the price of service and said that so long as our pets would not be in the way of the exterminator, they could remain in the house. I DID tell her that this was a roach problem that we have been trying to clear up on our own so she knew it was roaches and that it had not responded to conventional home treatment. The poor exterminator arrived as scheduled and was stunned to find that we had done nothing to prepare. Since we had not been told to clear out cabinets, drape furniture. or remove oets and people, we had not. He could not fumigate as he had planned to do. He had to call his supervisor and they had to wing it. I was told that the method we had to settle on would work but that it would take much longer. The lack of communication between the call center and the actual extermination personnel created a serious lack of trust on my part

I started off with Terminex on an Exclusion job and hired Orkin after the Terminex people “completed” their work and ignored my calls to follow up with me on the completion of service. Orkin found a major entry point near the AC unit which Rats had tunneled under and into my crawlspace, then they would migrate to the attic. Orkin discovered this entry point which was clearly overlooked by Two Terminex crew. They sealed all remaining entry points with a steel mesh and caulk and did same in my attic. They cleaned, disinfected and installed all new insulation in the attic which dramatically improved the air quality of my home. They are very thorough and attentive to details. I am very impressed with the patience and integrity that the sale rep Jason has exhibited. As an attorney and former general contractor, I can tell you that many salesmen would just sell you on the big ticket item, leaving u to deal with the little things that reek havoc.

We previously had an issue but a super great guy named Seth seems to have gotten us set in the right direction to resolve our pest problem. He was kind, informative, thorough. We will see if this is the fix. Orkin sent him out immediately today and we thank them.

The price is very reasonable monthly service I chose the 1-year plan come every other month. Time will tell if the service work. Ill ride another review in a few months. The online service was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend Orkin for all your Pest Control needs.

The pest control technician is great and very customer service oriented. He always does a great job and goes above and beyond. The technician always remains flexible with my schedule which really helps. The only downside is that Orkin is a little pricey.

Ask for Cody Evers for your inspector! He is so polite, took time to answer any questions and informed me of what he found. He is very knowledgeable! He not only was all around under my house, he also walked all around the outside inspecting and even emailed me photos of under my house! Hands down the best inspector I’ve ever had! Most of the ones we have had over the years just go under the house for maybe 10-15 minutes then have me sign a paper with no explanation. Cody should train the other inspectors how it’s done right and also in customer service!

The technician did his job but the products did not work for me! I requested a refund, I was given a run around by Brian until I got to Chris. He was rude and did not help! I have contacted legal representation because of this! EDIT*** I got my FULL refund, not just one month as it states in the contract! Their service did not work for me but I recommend SIMS!!!! Since the first day the entered my home, that same night we saw improvement! Ive been using them for 1 month now, my pest problem is little to NONE!!! Much faster results!

So Im not sure what happened to my very through review before but I couldnt find it- so creating another one as I was going to update that one.We hired Orkin in June 2019 due to our purchase of a foreclosure and it was totally infested. Spent a good amount of money to get rid of the Rats, termite damage, moisture barrier, etc.We ran into TONS of problems with Orkin in the first 6 months and Ive spoken with SEVERAL managers, etc and it seemed like every other week they were having to come back out here - or no showing after 3+ appointments are made. Well sometime around November they must have made some changes because everything seems to be running quite smooth. We have a new Route Manager Devin Thigpen who is AMAZING and I hope he never leaves Orkin because hes not only great at his job, but his customer service and personal connection skills are suburb. He interacts with my kids and pets, always goes the extra mile and hes probably the only reason I kept Orkin to be honest- he deserves a BIG FAT RAISE! (For real- give him a raise but dont promote him off the route! lol)Since Devin took over- he calls before showing up- no more SURPRISE visits where Im not home so they only treat the outside & then have to come back and do the inside, hes really great at explaining the products but not pushing them on you if youre not interested.As long as Devin is around on our route, Ill keep Orkin for sure.
