Arbor Life were offered up to $5K to completely remove the willow trees in my elderly clients creek. Greg came out and talked with my client about how they could accomplish all of his goals AND protect his waterway, save most of his trees, and charge less than half what was offered. He and his crew were great about asking questions and adjusting on the fly when my guy had ideas. They did all the work, stacked the logs for us and chipped the rest. It looked great then and still looks great!
WOW, we just got our view back and we kept our trees! Greg listened well to what we wanted as we told him how the trees have grown up over these years and now our view of Moscow Mountain and surrounding vista was blocked. I literallly asked him to go ahead and “top the trees”, just whack all the branches off, lop off these limbs! Fortunately he shared with us how he could trim and cut to maintain the health of the tree while opening up some of the crowded branching - and whoopee - we now have these more elegant trees with appropriate trimming AND our view has opened up and we can see framed by our tree branches a beautiful view again. We appreciated his studied and careful, but quick and skilled trimming/pruning for the health of the tree and consideration of what it is we wanted. We highly recommend Arbor Life and take the time to chat and talk over your landscaping goals with Greg at Arbor Life. We thought this job would take a couple of days as we had five trees that needed work, one which had wend it’s way through electrical wiring, others with high hanging dead branches - he completed all the work in one full day; these fellows worked hard! Good professional work, and BTW, the clean-up was great and careful as well, as he removed a mass of branches and other tree debris along with this job.
I was given a bid of $600 dollars to remove a tree. Near the end of the removal, Greg approached me, and said he had made a mistake in the bid. It was actually $1000. I had other bids lower than $1000. This is a very unprofessional operation, and, though the work was adequate, Greg does not honor his bids. I wont use this service again for fear of being cheated again.
