Howard Hughes is a great place to shop for appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, and so on. They have big green eggs, televisions, and beds as well. Their customer service is five stars because of the way they treat their customers before and after the purchase. Personally Ive never bought beds or two televisions here, but I can tell you about ovens, washers, dryers, and refrigerators. Their quality is outstanding if you follow what they say and get items of recommendation. They will tell you what the cheapest item is, best value item, and the highest end item. They will tell you the pros and cons of different models and try to help you find out what you need based on your requirements and preferences. There are new items you will never have a problem with. The used items or not so good. Do not buy anything used here as everything Ive bought used has stopped working within about a year or two. Their ovens are outstanding - I personally recommend the stainless steel convection whirlpool version. The washer and dryer set I bought here two and a half years ago are still working perfectly. Their selection is amazing for a town the size of Moscow.Their prices are fair and generally affordable for most homeowners. For example a nice stainless steel oven I bought here was $1,000 and the washer and dryer set I bought here that were top of the line happened to be only $1,600. The employees will immediately come over to help you if they see you walk in the store. The manager is awesome - he truly knows how to run a good business. They hold true to any service contracts, any fine print, or deals that they give you. Its fairly easy to get decent parking outside the store. The store is clean, organized, and well-lit. They organize their appliances from cheapest to most expensive so you can easily find something within your budget. Its very quiet store with very few other customers at the time you are in there. Overall this place deserves four stars. I am deducting star due to the substandard used items.

Some of the most helpful people. Knowledgeable of what they have on their floor. They helped us load everything up. I will definitely be shopping here again in the future and recommending it to anyone who may be needing appliances! I love my new dishwasher.

Great appliances at a fair price.

I came in to look at a new washer and dryer. Debbie was talking with another couple about Speed Queen brand machines. I listened in and was also able to ask her some of my own questions. Debbie is very knowledgeable about the brands they carry and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend checking with Howard Hughes store if you are looking for appliances. I ended up buying the Speed Queen set (and they are awesome!). They know what they are talking about! Thanks Debbie for your great customer service and help when I needed it!!!

Great place with very helpful people, love supporting a local business and they delivered our appliances right on time when we needed them at our new place. The movers were very respectful and cautious with COVID 19.

Needed to get a couple items right away prior to my actual move in later in February. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Worked with KJ and was able to get what I needed and have the items delivered 2 days later. The delivery team was great as well. Respectful and efficient!

They are awesome! Great selection and service. I really appreciate that theyre honest in the store and dont try to sell you on anything in particular. They will tell you what youre getting at different price points and recommend the best value for what you need, not the most expensive option.Service is fast, timely, and super professional for repairs and installation. One service call was for a new dishwasher and he tightened our fridge water line because he noticed a small leak, while installing the new DW.

I’ve purchased so many appliances and bedding over the years from Howard Hughes, and l never have been disappointed. The delivery/installation people are knowledgeable and always seem to really care about me as a person, not just another customer. I always recommend them.

I originally purchased my appliances from Home Depot. After they lost my appliances and had to get a refund I decided to go to Howard Hughes. I wish I would have gone there first. Their customer service was amazing. Very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my question. Delivery service was outstanding. Had a small mix up with my dishwasher but was quickly fixed same day. Prices were outstanding. I only paid $100 more through them than I did with Home Depots sales price. I will be coming back to Howard Hughes for any other appliances I need. Keep up the good work team.

My husband and I went to Howard Hughes to look for a range today. We generally buy online due to price and convenience. However, our recent online experience didnt go so well. Anyway, upon arriving to this store, we were instantly greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our questions were answered and the price for the range was right for our budget. Our higher expectations for customer service at a brick and mortar store were definitely met. We will continue to shop here for future purchases.

Thank you for prompt and excellent dishwasher service! We bought a house and the dishwasher failed in the first week. The technician was able to come the day after our call, was friendly and professional and diagnosed the problem right away. This was the third company we called in the area, and the only one willing to serve Palouse. Thank you!!! If we need other appliance repair, well be glad to call again!

I recommend Howard Hughs. The customer service is amazing. Both through the phone and during on-site work. Mitch, who worked on my oven and stove, was both informative and professional.

Personal service from a small staff who know their products and dont generally carry junk. An in-house parts department and repair service rounds out this well established local store.

Service customers be advised of the business practices as also indicated in the review by Sara. Before having any service completed, ask that you are informed of the labor and part charge in addition to the service visit. As mentioned by Sara, they charge for the service visit and then add a labor charge. I was not informed of the labor charge and was surprised when I was handed the invoice for $75 to replace a fuse in addition to the $80 for the service and $15 for the part. Had I known, I would not have had the repair completed and would have replaced the fuse myself. Tech was friendly, and service was good, but charges are not customer friendly.

Knowledge and helpful staff (KJ) without waiting to track someone down. They matched or beat the box store prices and for a small charge they will deliver everything and set it up. It really does pay to shop local!

Very quick and friendly service, but services fees are really high. I paid total $211 for 20 minutes of service and a $30 part. It would be nice if the diagnostic fee was waived if service is completed within the hour of arrival.

We purchased a bed today and there was some mishaps on the delivery (which was out of their control) but in the midst of all the craziness everyone was still very nice and professional. They did everything to make things right and I just really appreciate it. I get to sleep in a brand new bed tonight thanks to their hard work and dedication to customer service! Thank you!

Cant beat the service and sales team here! We sleep on a bed from Howard Hughes and wash our dishes with a dishwasher from them. Wed cook and clean with their appliances if ours would just stop working... The owners are very active in the community and have assisted in both time and space for events to help local charities. I cant say enough about having them be a very important part of the community.

The gentleman in the parts department is a pro. He always knows how to fix my machine just from a description and the broken part and how best to fix it. Hes saved me a lot if money over the years.
