This clinic is so helpful and very responsive. The staff have been super friendly and helpful. Even when they are extremely busy, they are still professional and friendly. You can tell they care for our fur babies! I would not want to go anywhere else.

Dr. Neal was my pets’ vet for years. I’ve since moved out of the area. I have a very difficult time getting in to see my current vet during Covid, so Dr. Neal was willing to do a phone consultation. It really helped. Thanks Dr. Neal!

Pet Boarding. Ive taken my Golden-Chow-German Shepard mix here for boarding 3 to 4 times over the past 5-6 years. No complaints or issues. Havent met the Vet, only the office staff and vet assistant.Open 7 days a week which makes weekend pick up of pets from boarding easy

They boarded our girls on short notice when we were having a new roof put on and didnt plan for the noise level; we had just gotten the dogs, and the breeder didnt send us full medical records - they were super helpful in setting us up with new vaccine boosters, microchips, and flea/heartworm medication at the same time.On a separate occasion, they patched up our older girl on short notice after a household quarrel; cauterized and stitched up the wound, and sent her back with antibiotics, cleaning liquid, and some pain medication.Staff are friendly and helpful. Were not experienced enough to compare how much they might be upselling or charging, but their availability, service quality, and general aptitude dont feel unreasonable.

What a difference real, scientific medical knowledge makes! Were new(ish) cat owners who just adopted our second kitten. She came, unbeknownst to us, with worms + giardiasis! One Sunday morning, our older cat started showing symptoms. Dr. Neal was *outstanding* in handling this transmission case. He used his wealth of medical knowledge and expert diagnostic skills to hone in on the problem. He was extremely thorough and used every answer we gave him to navigate his way to the correct diagnosis. I learned a LOT about caring for our cats, both through this condition and in general, without feeling like he was talking down to me. Like Dr. Neal, the staff was compassionate and caring. Weve had bad experiences elsewhere. You cannot go wrong with Dr. Neal. Top notch (period).

Boarded our pup here and everything was a dream. Amber and Courtney helped me; they were professional, friendly, and patient while I wrangled all my records from my previous vet. The facility is clean, they have a nice yard for dogs to sniff and romp, and my guy seemed quite content with his stay. Id be happy to board here again.

I am new to the area and inquired on a Saturday about whether they take walk ins. I was met by a very rude staff person who was opening the clinic. Even after I explained I was just inquiring to see where I could take my dog she continued to be rude and was VERY unhelpful. I went further to Los Osos Vet Hospital who did not take walk ins but saw my dog anyway. They were very pleasant and helpful. I will not go back to Morro Bay Vet but will take the short distance to Los Osos Vet Hospital where they understand customer service and how to be friendly to newcomers in the area and their pets!

I took my dying baby here to be put to sleep instead the Dr wanted to run blood tests on her. He gave her pain killers and sent us home. It was the worst night any pet lover could imagine. She. Scream in pain all night long. We took her back the next day first thing. To have her put down ******Update***** pug number 2. Weve lost two in one year. I called today to have my other baby put down. I told them she was screaming in pain. They made the appointment but called back a few minutes later to say they would not be putting her down. When asked why I was told because I posted a negative comment. The first time I should have been greeted with an apology. So as my baby screams and dies so do I. Dont real drs have a hypocrite oath? OMG LAGUNA VETERINARYBEST ON THE COAST iTS the BOMB Check out their ratings.

Used this vet for a couple of years. Probably should not have staiyed with them so long -- never had a great feeling. Thought it was strange that the vet always took the dog out of the little exam room to check him. Every other vet always did the exam with us in the room. Even when doing non-surgical procedures like taking a foxtail from under the dogs eye, our old vet did it in the exam room with us there. After the dogs most recent checkup, they asked us to buy heartworm meds from them. I told them we tried their meds once, but dog wont swallow the pills even if crushed and put into a treat -- so, we use Heartguard. Later on the vet office called 4 times in one day to convince us to use meds they sell. It was crazy!!!Were using a different vet now and were very glad we made the change.

Not friendly, Not helpful, Not sympathetic. More interested in catching up on notes and going home on time than helping a dog in pain.
