They tried to charge us excessive fees. $75 for “clean up” at the accident scene. Car only needed towing without any clean up needed. Even without this fee, $400+ for towing and fees after the accident. Disappointed. Lost their credibility to fix car after accident. Towed it to another location.

I feel like Im living in an Alternate Universe reading some of the negative reviews. This was my first visit to Meslers. I went to a few Tire Shops this morning and everyone was a 2-3 hour wait to fix a tire. I drove into Meslers at 11:30am and ran into Mark.I told him that I had a screw in my tire that was causing air to leak and asked how long the wait and repair would be. He said hed do it right now. He removed the tire, patched it from the inside and had it back on my Rav4 in under 15 minutes. Helio Castroneves would be impressed. Price-$35.I could not have met a friendlier more helpful person. Im 65 years old and this is without question the fastest tire repair job Ive ever experienced. I would highly recommend Meslers for repair work on my vehicles. Sorry for the people that had negative experiences.

Not sure where these negative reviews are coming from, but Id like to share my experience with Meslers Auto Body. Our family has been going to Meslers for over 15 years now and every time, their work exceeds our satisfaction by miles.Fred and Nick are by far the nicest, most honest, accommodating, and kindest folks in the business. They are a pleasure to deal with regardless of the circumstances. Youre getting high quality body work at an extremely affordable price with these guys.I recently had my M5 in (very short notice, I should add), for some minor body work and I was more than pleased with the results per usual. They cut zero corners, always go the extra mile, and make are excellent at communicating with you during the entire process. I asked Nick if it would be okay if a wheel repair/refinishing service could come and fix one of my wheels while the car was out, and they had no problem whatsoever despite the car being finished and taking up space on their lot until the wheel repair company returned my wheel.To date, Ive always, and will always continue to refer anybody from close friends and family, to acquaintances and clients to Meslers. Im very happy that good businesses like this still exist today. Its more than safe to say that Ive been, and will continue to be a returning customer.Thank you Fred and Nick for your superb service and accommodations. You guys are hands down the best in the business. Five stars all day long!

I called for help with a flat tire. They were quick, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and helpful. I would call them again.

Terrible!! Over charged, Car has no oil after paying for an oil change. Wouldn’t go back if last mechanic in world.

Not sure why the bad reviews here. I had a really good experience getting a damaged door repaired on my SUV. Everyone was very friendly, and I was provided an estimate that worked within what my insurance company was willing to pay. The work appears flawless and was done in a timely fashion. My only complaint, if I had one, would be that it was up to me to call to find out the status of the repair. But all in all, I liked this place. Would definitely recommend for auto body work.

My truck broke down on a Sunday, They arrived with a flat bed in about an hour. Next day truck was done at noon. . Fair prices, Decent work. Definitely would reccomend

As a female walking into an auto body shop alone, theres always a fear that youll be ripped off. That was not the case here. As soon as I met Fred Jr. he made me feel at ease. He gave me the best quote for a new windshield compared to other shops in the area that I called. I felt comfortable leaving my car with him. I could tell that the shop was extremely busy, but he always seemed to give me full attention when I was in the shop or when I called to check in. The turnaround time on my repair was extremely quick, and Fred called me as soon as it was ready. The finished job looked great.

I preface my review of Mesler’s with the following. The work completed in repairing my vehicle was ultimately satisfactory though the process in getting to that point was extremely frustrating.My vehicle was damaged in an accident and towed by Mesler’s to their facility on 12/2/19. My boyfriend and I decided to go ahead and have the vehicle repaired in their body shop. The damages were assessed by my insurance company, Progressive, the following day. I was informed of the estimated repair costs and told it would take roughly two weeks to complete the work. During the process Mesler’s did not reach out to me a single time. On the 17th I phoned them to ask of it’s readiness and was told it would maybe be ready on 12/20/19. On the 20th I was told they were preparing it for me to pick it up and discovered an unknown problem and that they needed parts. I was at this point told it would maybe be ready on 12/24/19. On the 24th I was informed of another issue and was told it would be ready on the 27th. On the 27th there was yet another unexpected problem and the car was promised on the afternoon of 12/31/19. My boyfriend and I arrived to pick the vehicle up on the 31st and to first inspection it looked really good. My boyfriend gave it a closer look and noticed two issues with the repairs that needed to be fixed. At this point, Nick, who I had been dealing with through the repair process came out to talk with us. We pointed out the problems and he asked if we could leave the car on a future day for the problems to be rectified. That evening while driving the car we discovered that an issue that had previously been used as an excuse for the car not being ready on an earlier date had actually not been repaired. On the morning of 1/2/20. We stopped to inform Nick of this issue. He was dumbfounded but indicated it would be fixed on the 3rd. On the 3rd the previous mentioned issues were repaired though one of these problems was not corrected properly. We got back in touch with Nick and he asked to have the vehicle again on 1/7. At this point the repairs were made correctly and the 36 day saga finally came to an end, seemingly. Several days later while my boyfriend was aligning my headlights, one of which had been replaced during the repairs, I discovered discards parts in the trunk area of my vehicle. So at this point we will return to the shop one more time to have them discard these parts.Throughout the process of dealing with Mesler’s Auto Body I felt talked down to and lied to. It wasn’t until my boyfriend got directly involved that i felt as though they were taking the timely and accurate repair of my vehicle with any seriousness. Even at this point multiple aspects of the repairs that should have been double checked and rectified before I reobtained the vehicle were not which causes me to call in to doubt their attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. At times they used substandard parts and claimed they had already made repairs which they clearly had not, causing me to have no faith in their ability to be honest and truthful. At the completion of the initial repair period they made what they clearly considered to be a magnanimous gesture of only requiring me to pay 75 percent of my deductible which I took as a thinly veiled acknowledgement of them wronging me and seeing this as a way of rectifying that wrong. I also learned late in the process that my insurance company, Progressive, would not guarantee their work which is to me very telling as to their reputation in the industry.I consider this review to be a fair and reasonable accounting of my experience with Mesler’s Auto Body. Furthermore, I consider it worthwhile to take the time in writing it if my sharing these experiences can prevent someone else from deciding to use Mesler’s for future repairs. I have been truly turned off by their dismissive and dishonest approach to running a business and will NEVER consider using them or recommending them to anyone else, EVER!

I thought they were a little experience for the work I needed to get done. However, I cant lie, they did an excellent job. They were able to ship my mirror over night, paint it the same exact color as my car, and fix everything during my lunch break. I just recommended someone there to get their brakes done.

I live in Morristown and brought my car here to have the brakes done. After picking it up, I parked the car and tried to “pull up” the parking brake but it wouldn’t go up more than a half inch. I returned to the shop and showed it to the mechanic who fixed it. He told me that it that is was supposed to operate like that! After my mechanic came back from vacation, I gave it to him to and he adjusted it back to the FACTORY setting.

What a bunch of sleazy, crooks! My wife and i were towed after an accident to this location ( not our choice)Our jeep was totaled. My wife and I were in shock. They told us nothing. Rushed us out with the Rental car.After a few weeks of determining what to do with the Jeep. No one bothered to call to see what we need to do.They tried to charge us almost $700 for storage. I tried to dispute the charges and the cowardly owner ran away saying just pay the bill! They tried to keep us from getting our things from our jeep, which is illegal. We attempted to pay towing charges and they would not let us, unless we paid the scam towing fees. They are low lives!

What a crime!! Car was involved in an accident and towed 2 miles back to their shop. I had the car picked up the same day by my tow company. Meslers charged $386 for their fee alone. Gave some BS laundry list of charges. I will be reporting this to the Morris Township council to review their contract with them. Its obscene in every sense of the word. I also asked about retrieving personal items from the car and was told that we could not until the tow bill was paid. Really?? Thats customer service?!?

I went her after my Mercedes got a flat tire right down the road. I showed up and the owner immediately said you cant drive on that. You need a new tire. No hello or anything. I said I would rather just put my spare tire on it for right now since I was on my way to a meeting. He reluctantly said okay and I asked him how much it would cost. Apparently you’re never supposed to inquire about a price at this place because then he got nasty. He yelled into his shop to the mechanic “Hey, we have someone on welfare out here wondering how much it will cost him to have the spare put on his Mercedes.” I immediately called him out on how fresh he was being and he didn’t even care. I wouldn’t go back here again if what I needed was paid for by the owner himself. The only reason I didn’t change the tire myself is because I was in a suit and had to be somewhere within the hour. I should have left and went to the gulf right across the street.
