They left my trash out there for 3 weeks...they are suppose to pick up every friday...I had called them a week after it was suppose to be picked up,and they said it would be friday...well Friday came and went so I called them again, they finally came and then said they couldnt pick up my trash anymore,because there was no where to turn around....there is literally a turn around spot right in my driveway. Then sent me a bill for a whole month. Absolutely not paying that. And I wish I could give this company a negative 5 stars.

There has got to be a better way for this company to do business. Our cardboard dumpster was not emptied as expected because a Food Truck was making a delivery to our business and inadvertently blocked access to the dumpster. Now we have to pay $130 for a return trip! Why couldnt the driver speak with the manager and ask to have the truck moved. Better yet why couldnt they call ahead and tell us they are on their way and well make sure its clear when they get here! Simple courtesy and professionalism would have gone a long way here. We are a business, course there will be other trucks at times!

This company loves to nickel and dime customers. It was not too long ago that the quarterly rate increased by $5 and now they increased the quarterly rate by $5 again. They are probably trying to make up for the loss in customers by pushing higher prices on the remaining ones. I am going to cancel my service with them as long as the rest of my household members are okay with it. I WILL DRIVE THE TRASH TO THE LANDFILL MYSELF AT THIS POINT!

Weekly trash pick up. After 14 years, never missing a payment and trash always neatly tied in can, they decide, according to their driver, and the drivers supervisor, that it is too dangerous to continue and so tell me no more can unless can haul the can up to main road. Considering I am in my 70s and handicapped,this isnt possible. UPS, FED EX, mail and numerous cars and truck travel this albeit gravel, bumpy road daily. Requested a smaller truck to pick up as in past. Told cant do curbside.???? Excuse me, no curbs here and have to haul a good 1oo feet or so to can down to road.

I used this service for several years and it has always been hit and miss and scheduled pickups. The last two weeks I’ve had to carry my own trash off due to missed pickups. Also when I canceled my service there was no apology or concerns.

We ordered their services over a week ago. Drop off for trash can was Friday. Nothing. Then Monday. Nothing. Called 3 times to be delayed each time. Called again Tuesday. “It will be delivered ASAP” Tuesday. Still nothing!!! What is the problem that they cannot get a can delivered or anyone to give an explanation??? Ugh so aggravated. If we had another choice, we would definitely take it!!!!! They truly don’t care about customers and it shows!!!

I have been waiting since April 2020 for a new can. The truck squeezed ours hard and broke the back. I have called every two weeks and have been told it will be delivered this Friday. This Friday has not come yet and its now almost two months. Friday, June 19th when I called I spoke to Malika and she said trash cans had been out of stock but they had received them and my can would be delivered by 5pm that day. Well 5pm still has not arrived!As a business operator myself this illustrates poor management and most important poor customer service!!

They miss whole streets and dont credit the accounts. If they toss your can in their truck, they drive on and say it was stolen, then take tooooo long to bring another. This area needs new management or to get out of town and let another company have this area.

Truck driver told us the city wants us to change where we park our cars which was a bs lie. On top if that they skip our entire street on trash day multiple times. And my recycling hasnt been picked up in 2 months regardless of my complaints. These people arent the trash company. they are just trash!

Gave 1 star because I cant rate lower. I rarely have my trash picked up more that twice a month because I just dont have that much trash. However I still pay full price which really should be changed but even worse than that I have called several times and left messages whether it is about my pick up or about paying my bill... 99% of the time I never receive a return call but you can sure bet I get charged a late fee. This location needs to be under new management ASAP!! And Im still waiting for them to call me back..

They really need better service or if we could get a competing service in the area, that might make them step up their game.I initially signed up for service on 07/15/2017. Did not receive a container until yesterday(08/07/2017) and that was only because I called and complained that my container had not yet arrived. Then they said if my container had not arrived at my next pick up date, they would provide bag service and just take the bags of trash that we had accumulated without a container. Pick up date came and they skipped right over our trash because it was not in an approved container.Unfortunately, its deal with them, or take your own trash to the dump.

Too bad zero starts isn’t an option. Worst company that ever existed. We have called for months straight about a trash can replacement due to ours having a broken wheel. Local police depart asks that the can not be left across the street due to safety reasons, but when the can is full it is nearly impossible to move it across so the trash can be picked up. Every time we call the company, they say the can will be replaced the following Friday which is our trash collection day, but you guessed it, still waiting on that new can. We started asking for a replacement in the summer and now here it is November and no new can. I would just recommend canceling service and hauling trash to your local dump than deal with this joke of a company.

Posting information on how poor the service overall for this company does no good since they are pretty much a monopoly in our area. The have never helped us with any problems. You can not get in touch with them and no one calls you back. It is terrible service. Leo C., Marion, N.C.

Failed to pick up my 87 year old Grandmothers trash on numerous occasions thus causing services in which were paid for to go unrendered. Despite multiple attempts to rectify the matter, service remained as such; a lack there of. One can further stipulate that this company has systemic honor and integrity issues combined with a lack of fulfillment of services to be rendered which one is expected to pay regardless of payment. Highly do not recommend as well as have contacted city/county authorities regarding the matter as well as have contacted the local news to do an investigative report on several other instances similar in nature at the hand of the same company. #BuyerBeware

I have called them on 3 separate occasions requesting a container and service. I was told each time that a container would be delivered. The last time I called I spoke to a supervisor who assured me that since it has taken 2 weeks for a container to be delivered that she would annotate a note for my garbage to be picked up on the next service day. I have already had to go buy a container myself as well as borrow someones truck and take my garbage to the dump myself. This is the worse service I have ever seen. The excuse of not enough containers itself is a poor one for a large corporation. Especially since you are contracted to provide a service. If you can not fulfill your contract then opt out. Today is/was my scheduled trash pick up day and the day I was assured by a supervisor my trash would be picked up, I woke up to of course another unfulfilled promise. How can a company be ok with such horrible customer service.

I have been trying to contact Republic Services for 4 days now to set up new service. Tried applying online and no response from them. Called 4 times to set up new service to only be transferred and placed on hold for over 30 mins at a time. If they dont have time to accept new customers, then I dont have time for them. Ill take my trash to the transfer station for FREE! Bad business model and very bad customer service.

My husband and I are new to the area, and have called them numeorus times and sent emails for 3 weeks with no response. All we want is trash service which is what I thought they did, but they either have enough customers that they dont care to acquire new ones or they are just completely unprofessional. Either one is not good.

I spoke with a representative in Indiania concerning my account. I messed up when trying to make online payments. She was understanding at what had happen. She fixed the problem and gave me the total amount needed to reconnect and begin services. I called back a few days later to make the payment. I was connected to Maria in Arizonia. She ask for an amount $50 more . I ask to be transferred to the Indiania center or just speak to a supervisor. She LAUGHED AT THE REQUEST AND SAID I WILL NOT PUT YOU THROUGH TO A SUPERVISOR. I ask if the call was recorded and she said yes. SO.if Republic reads these complaints I called on 11/3/17 at 345 EST. please go back and listen . Also, this was a computer error that I did not realized happen. so why be so greedy. I noticed there are a lot of bad reviews Your company must not care. This is very concerning and sad for the community.

I have had this service for not even a month and have had to call every week because the scheduled pick up day, they do not come. Scheduled pick up days is on Monday, I have to call on Tuesday to tell them it was missed and a truck is never able to come out until Wednesdays. Mondays come around again and here I am waiting on the phone again... I will continue to call until this is fixed as it should be. It stinks this is the only service available in Morganton for trash pick up.

Missed pickups constantly. And when they actually do pick up my trash, busted bags are left lying in the middle of my driveway, trash everywhere, cans in the ditch, etc...for me to deal with when I get home from work. Morganton office staff secretary is rude and hateful!

Total and Complete Mess. Calls are routed to Call Centers that have no Idea what is going on and can not answer half of your questions.
