I visited Buds Tire Bros on March 16th to get some services done to my Honda Accord. I was greeted by Carlos who was very knowledgeable and provided exceptional customer service. They completed new tires, breaks, balancing and alignment and to my surprise was affordable. Ive been to dealerships and other Tire shops where its over priced and the customer service is not compared to Buds Tire Bros. Ive been a customer of this particular location for a few years now. They have been aces in practically every way I can think of, from professional polite courtesy to the level of service. On the night of December 21st, 2020, I was on my way to the desert when my vehicle alerted me to low oil pressure along with a check engine light. I had my oil changed at BTP-MV just over a month ago, so all I could think to do was to take it in to them to see if it was an issue that stemmed from the change.I used the website and made a few entries in their automated chat. The chat directed my issue up the chain since no one was available after hours. I ended up getting an email from the OWNER asking for more information. He came to the store himself, -after hours-, to personally collect my vehicles key after I had it towed there.The issue was not a fault of theirs, but still they did the diagnostic, at no cost to me. And as requested, they let me know when the tow vehicle had arrived to take my car to the dealership.MAJOR thanks to Kent Usher and Bud Luppino (Owner). As a veteran, I am proud to support another veteran-owned business--a business well worth supporting.

Bought one tire and they charged me $10.00 to take my old tire off of the rim and put the new one on!!!!! $10.00 to balance the tire in addition to that!!!!!! And the rim with the old tire on it....I carried into the store. Wasn’t even on the car. This place is a complete rip. How would one put on the new tire if the old one didn’t come off? I am shocked they didn’t charge me for putting air in the new one. Beware. I think when I told the snake salesman I didn’t want the road hazard warranty he gauged me another way. I will never, ever go back
Called the shop and was given a quote on mounting and balancing new wheels. Ralph was super nice and helpful. The tech named Alex then took over my car and handled my wheels with precision and efficiency. This shop is very busy but I see why after my visit. These guys are good! Air conditioned waiting room with seating and tv was a plus. Appreciate you guys especially during covid. Will definitely be back!
Last week I was surprised by a screw in my tire and went to Buds for the very first time. Kent was polite and accommodating making sure that I got to work as soon as possible. They were able to provide financing for a new set of wheels; which was a huge need, and I am extremely grateful for their service. Thank you Kent and Buds for the easiest tire situation in my life!

I call at 10am, ask do they open. They said they will close at 3pm. Ask me bring another day. I already used to this answer but I usually only can find time on weekends, I keep ask them will they be able to help me alignment. They said just alignment is ok to bring in. I checked at 12pm, was told can get my car at 3pm. I ask them at 3:30 can you help me check my car, because I saw they already prepare to close up about three working spaces only left one open. That front guy really unhappy told me he is busy. I just saw he stand over there and two staff are cleaning the office. Although I’ve been customer this store several years, I feel his service manner really need improving. I really like the store owner, I got his help once and feel no rush and was respected. Really nice old man. Hope he can be around his store site from time to time, he is my son’s friend grandpa.
EDIT: Ive changed my review a bit. Recently, I went in to have a tire patched. Although the staff did a good job repairing my tire, I realized that they DID NOT put my fancy/special lime green valve stem caps back on, only to replace 3 of them with random, piece of junk caps. One wasnt even replaced. So, they essentially STOLE my nice caps. I realize that theyre just valve stem caps, but, as a tech, youre supposed to put the customers car back together, correctly. Now, if I have other options, I will debate whether or not to use Buds again, and go with another shop, if I have other options. Their old crew in the work bays used to be pretty honest; Im not sure who theyre hiring now.I have been using Buds for over a decade now. They do quality work, although the wait for repair is quite a while, which is probably because theyre so busy. As far as price, theyre comparable with most shops. I wouldnt call them overpriced.

I have come 3 or 4 times here, and i have always gotten an upfront, straight and honest answer. Kent and his team takes good care of my vehicles and most importan, they also take care of my pocket by always giving the best, affordable options.True, it does take a bit of your time to have your vehicle serviced, yet that tends to happen when you are a good shop with reasonable prices. But in the long run, you get the best from them.I will definitely continue to bring my business and my vehicle service needs here.

Ive got to say that this is the worst customer service in my life... Well maybe not the worst but it was up there. Simply needed to rotors turned 2 hours to close I was told to bring them down no problem hurry if I want them done by the end of the day. I was at OReillys at the time I had just had them might and they were good to go the price is a little bit higher than I was used to pain. After checking in I was told that my rotors were at .0070and that the minimum was .0047. Now it is illegal to go below the manufacturers recommended minimum thickness. But by no means is it illegal for me to pay someone to take it down to that minimum. He looked at me and said they were both the exact same measurement and he couldnt do either one, one of them was brand-new one of them was not. Now I may have caught them on a bad day no I may have caught them on a bad day Im not sure, but I am sure that I will never go there again. Now currents right down the street thats the best customer service Ive had in a very long time. The people at buds should take their cars down there one of the time to see what customer service should be.

First off, I went in without an appointment for an alignment and only spent about an hour total. Robert did provide a professional recommendation and I spoke directly to the owner upon completion of the service. The owner went above and beyond in explaining the entire service. He also gave me a very competitive quote of full strut swap, which I am aware I need done. I will also mention that they do offer military discounts. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I am writing this while it is still fresh in my mind. Let me preface this with the note that I support local vendors and will continue to do so. I have made mistakes in my life and have been given plenty of chances to make things right and I believe in extending that grace to others.I purchased tires a while back and needed a rotation. I called on 6/3 and was told that I should make an appointment. Ok, no worries. I asked for an appointment on Friday and there were none. I was told by Rich that Buds was open on Sunday and that there was a 9 AM available and I accepted. I was told that it would take about an hour. An hour to rotate tires...hmm. I understand that there might be overlap from previous appointments, so I figured that I would allow them that latitude.I showed up on Sunday, 6/7 at 8:50 and checked in. They took my keys and said they would get to it. At 9:30, I approached the desk and asked the person working if they were going to be able to get to my car. He said they would and I explained that I only had till 10 AM and if they were not going to get to it, at least let me know. He informed me that every appointment needs 2-21/2 hours to complete and that because of the overlap from Saturday, they were running behind. I reminded him of my appointment time of 9 AM and he said that they do not make appointments on Sundays because of overlaps from Saturday. HUH? I asked him why I was asked to make an appointment and his answer was, whoever told you that was mistaken, we do not make appointments on Sundays.I asked for my keys and left.This was my 2nd unpleasant experience at the Wood-crest location. The first was a scenario involving brakes and alignment. I gave 1 star because of the repeat experience.However, I must say that the workers were courteous and friendly. I believe that the front people need to understand their policy and relay it clearly and correctly to the customer. More often than not, if you are upfront about the time needed to complete a task, there will not be an issue.UPDATE: Bud placed a call to me shortly after this incident. He was very gracious and asked how he could rectify the problem quickly. I informed him that I was going to be be busy because my daughter and I were going golfing . He then offered to have one of his guys go pick up my truck at the course, perform the work and bring it back. I agreed and that is what happened. I appreciate the effort that Bud expended to get the work accomplished.BTW, Bud informed me that they do make appointments on Sundays.

I used to like this place until the last time I came here they told me I needed my two filters changed on my car so I had one changed and they completely messed up my glove compartment yes its fixable but they should have put it back just the way it was when I first took it to them. I opened it and it just slammed open as if I had an old car and its a 2018 that I take good care of, components were missing that I didnt even know till the next day I found one on the floor and the other piece not till that weekend when I got my car washed and a piece was just there on top since they are very careless to put everything back the way it was well thats gonna be my last time there
Great prices and friendly service. They are a family owned business and treat their customers the way customers should be treated. They do tires, alignments, oil changes, brakes and much more. My family has used them for many years for tires and more. High recommend Buds.

This place is the best first time going to them for an oil change and they are cheaper than most places for a synthetic oil change. Kent usher was a cool guy. I highly recommend them
Fantastic experience. I went into Buds with a very small budget to fix a problem that, if solved in whole, would cost a lot more. They worked with me to get the fix I needed at my budget and lay out a plan to come back a few times to iron out the rest, and were totally patient and honest when talking about the risks and other factors. I appreciate Ralphs patience and honesty, and will definitely return once Im not so poor.

I have been going to Buds for the past 5 years. The staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable about their products. Several times I have brought my Yukon in thinking it needed service but after they checked it out, they determined it was ok when they could have tried to do the work anyways. Their prices are competitive and even offer a road hazard warranty with a purchase of tires. I have recommended Buds to many of my friends and will go no where else to get service or tires for my car.

UPDATE:After leaving my review, I was contacted by Kent the manager. He went above and beyond to make sure this issue was corrected. They even paid for a rental car while they worked on my car. Most importantly, I learned who the employee was that claimed to be the manager (Kent). I’m hoping appropriate actions will be taken with that employee so this issue does not happen with other customers in the future. My claim with BBB has been updated as well. Thank you Bud and Kent for making this right. I am however, leaving this as a 4 star review based upon all previous hassle experienced that should have never happened.I really wanted to like this place on account of hearing such wonderful things from a good friend. I’m overwhelmed with disappointment and will not be returning. Upon bringing in my car for routine maintenance prior to selling it (as I intended): oil change and tune up which was only supposed to be $280. I was informed other maintenance needed to be done or I’d run into issues selling it. As a mom suffering of a crippling auto immune disease Polymyositis, I decided it would be wise to do it so it would guarantee my ability to sell it. Well he was right, but it wasn’t for lack of not getting those things done for and extra $200 that I didn’t have. Now, I can’t sell it. “Why” you ask? Well because my car has been leaking ever since. I took it back the following Monday which was 3 days after service (my out of state buyer backed out because he saw the leaking without having to even put the car up) and at this point I was now talking with Kent. Ladies, if you insist on using this place, don’t do business with him. My car had no leaks before I brought it in for maintenance, now it does and I lost out on money I desperately needed for my family.They accepted fault for one of the leaks. The easy fix one from the oil change. The second one that I’m still dealing with? Well, Kent full well knowing that the 1000 mile work warranty was going to be up, sent me away telling me that I, and I kid you not, that I “needed to have the engine steam cleaned so they could determine whether it was their fault or not.” Well I had no issues before and now I do! I am now stuck with a car I can’t sell, about to lose my home because of it, and lost my faith in humanity doing the right thing. The leak has caused my check engine light to come on. Thanks Bud’s for the lesson learned. I plan on reporting this company to the BBB as well, just to warn other potential customers.

Came here on a Friday afternoon to get a flat tire fixed. They said they were extremely busy and getting close to closing time.Before even picking up my phone to search for another place they had a work order printed out and asked if I could wait at least 90 minutes for the repair. I said sure and only had an approximately 40 minute wait for my car to be finished. Nothing better than a place willing to work later to make customers happy. Best service possible and would recommend this location to anyone who is reading this review.
This place has Horrible customer service. In addition to that, I purchased tires in less than 6 months they were irreplaceable under warranty, there was no point in me purchasing insurance for the tires if Im not able to use it. I will no longer be using this place for maintenance on my vehicle, They over charge for keep service.
Been going here for awhile, close to 7 years and never really had much problems.. recently almost everytime I got Tony is just not helpful and very rude. Use to always deal with Brian and he always made everything go smooth and efficient. Need better staffing in the front office. Think Ill be taking my 3 vehicles elsewhere for service now.
I will give 5 stars for service. The only issue that I would have is when you take you vehicle in for diagnostic there is a charge that will not waved if you have the work done to repair the vehicle. You still have to pay the diagnostic fee. Plenty of service companies will wave that fee if you have the repairs done there.
Love their customer service. Prices are ok. Wait time is ok. Would I recommend people here YES. I gave it a 3 star by accident. Ive only been there for tires. But the tires I keep buying are messing up from same place all the time. I recommend get the insurance for 7.00. it will cost you cheaper in the long run
First time here, wait time wasnt too bad. Took a little over an hour to get brake fluid flushed. Friendly, helpful staff; would definitely recommend.

So I asked Jess why wasn’t I advised that before I picked my car. Then he had the nerves to tell that I asked for a wheel alignment.Never again
My first review of Buds in Moreno Valley wasnt that great because it seemed my car drove worse after my new tire installation. But I found out that the noises I heard was unrelated to the tire installation and turned out to be a totally separate issue. I spoke with Tony over the phone who arranged to have my special order tires waiting on me when I arrived. Tony was very nice and the fact that I got to talk to a live person really made the difference in who I chose to purchase the tires from, Tony was very personable and professional. Waiting to have them installed was a bit longer then expected but they got the job done. My car rides very smooth now because of the new tires and alignment work they performed.
Shopper beware, these guys fill your tires with nitrogen only to slip it in your bill at the end. Also they force their Bs tire insurance at the end. Lastly mechanics dont use gloves and always leave grease and oil on doors, steering wheel, etc.........

We have been going to Buds tire pros since 2000. They have taken very good care of our auto needs. We wont go anyplace else.
We took our van up there to get a brake inspection. They did not know we had already had the inspection at another shop and by two other mechanics. We just wanted to confirm the problem and make sure we had the right parts.My van made more noise leaving their shop then it did when we got there. They tried to charge us $900 with a laundry list of stuff that was never wrong with my van. They said we needed new calipers and back brakes, tire rod, tires, axel and boots, new front brakes. $900 worth of nonsense.Took my car back to our mechanic I only needed a master brake cylinder which was $56 at the auto parts store and the labor wàs only $70. Compared to Buds wannabe upsell scare tactics. This is why we dont go to these types of places they are quick to work you over for a quick buck.When we left my car sounded like trash because they messed with stuff to make us come back. Im good. My van? Works perfectly.

I stopped at Buds in Moreno Valley for a new set of tires on my company Prius and found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. They did have a set of tires in stock to fit the Prius and I had them do an alignment, oil change, and a few other minor services. I was overall very pleased with the price as well as the turn around time. I would definitely go back for any future needs!

I received an email with a coupon by Buds Tire for an oil change immediately after getting my oil changed by Buds Tire that expired 2 days later. How is this helpful to keep me as a customer? I received the coupon after being serviced and it expired 2 days later. Thats a joke.

Went in at 8:30 for a tire check and left at 2:30. They dont carry many tires in stock at all. If you need something that small done plan to leave your car the whole day. Or maybe 2.

I went to Buds 3xs and everytime my car had an issue that wasnt there when I drove in. Eg. I went to get new tires. When I drove out onto the main street, i could feel something was wrong. Well, they forgot to tighten my lug nuts!! My tires almost fell off! So they give me a free oil change for their screwup. I go for an oil change, they tell me my car wont start and I need a new fuel tank/ pump. I said My Jeep was fine when I got here. It cost me $300. Their smooth talking crooks, and take advantage of single women. The manager was a customer at a company I worked for, I trusted him. Big mistake!!

I came in and was completely ignored. When the person behind the counter finially finished answering two phone calls, he was very clear that on Sundays the store closes at 3. That was nice information to know, but it was 12 and I just wanted to know how long it would take to get my tire patched. He said about two hours and things are moving slow. I just said Ill go somewhere else. Maybe I came on the wrong day, but a hello and basic manners goes very far. I probably would have waited two hours because of the good reviews, but Id rather go somewhere where Im acknowledged.

Had a coolant leak and they charged me 400 to fix it. I pick it up and when i get home there is coolant pouring out the engine. So i take it back they say they will look at it. a week later they call me and tell me they fixed it. It was 700 more because they replaced the wrong thing in the first place. They also fixed it without telling me it would be 700. What they did was replaced the water pump and thermostat. when the problem was the gasket on the intake manifold. When i took the car to them i stated that i had already replaced the water pump and thermastat. They told me i did it wrong which i didnt. Could have and should have done it myself but when it happened i didnt have time to do it.
My son was going back to Oregon and I was concerned about his tires. We took the Toyota truck to Buds and the sales representative confirmed that he needed new tires and an alignment due to his driving habits. My son was able to get 4 new tires with a road hazard warranty at a very affordable price. JJ, the manager even included free nitrogen.
