I went to the store to get help on a stereo I tried to install myself. The employee was kind enough to look at my work and identified a cable that should not have been hooked up. To my surprise he did not want to charge me for his knowledge, which was obviously very high. I tremendously respect when a service provider is fair, courteous and straight with respect to what things are. He could have easily kept the car and told me it was something crazy and charged me the installation cost, but he didnt. If I ever buy another stereo I know exactly where Im going.

They did a great job installing a new radio in my 05 Accord.My GPS stopped working and the explained the different option that I could have with a radio that worked with Waze, Pandora and even WhatsApp.They told me they could do it in an hour, And they kept their work. Feel I got a value for my money. Would recommend them to anyone needing a stereo or other auto electronic. Will be coming back for a rear view camera.

Extremely poor business practices. Don’t waste your time or money here. Came in and set install date with Chris but when day came for install manager said Chris was out sick. I called next day and spoke with Chris and he said he wasn’t sick but that’s what the owner tells people instead of just being honest and saying a car before me wasn’t finished. Set second date for install but Chris never showed again. Called next morning after second scheduled date of install Chris said he would call back in 10 min and never did. Horrible way to do business.

Far from the friendliest customer service I’ve experienced but I can’t complain about the work done. That alone was worth 5 stars.

Vague Overall. Whats worse is that the guy tried to make it seem like his calculations were too advanced to explain, while his attitude showed no interest in actually trying to offer solid info. The guy said uh yeah its gonna be like $1,500 total for everything & asked me if I wanted to pay in payments when I made an inquiry on how he got the total. I told him I had cash, but wanted a description of the set up. He never explained how he actually figured that amount. He responded saying, You see all that over there? I gotta organize all those boxes, I got a lot of work to do rn, nobody is going to do it for less then $1500. Might as well close the shop I thought. He made it seem like theyve never had customers who care to know how theyre money is spent. How convenient for the employee who simply offers the Advanced price for whichever combination they have in stock to serve himself from or by the costumer if used as an excuse to justify undesired labor.

This place feels like a sweatshop. Although yes they may be experienced with their services and equipment, the 2 gentleman assisting my inquiries seemed very disorganized and overwhelmed. They also tried telling me what equipment wouldn’t work in my vehicle when I’ve personally done some work myself. Also they were not present at 9 am as multiple customers were instructed to show up. That shows a blatant disregard of people’s time. On top of that they tried buying a good review to give an associate of mine a good deal, which is unacceptable business practice.Ultimately their customer service skills are simply not present. They also have poor coordination between the shop workers and storefront workers.I get it if you’re trying to push a “cool club” environment but that should not be an excuse to disregard customer service.5 star work for the alarm 2-way python alarm install. Worked as expected. Door locks were re-placed.

I regret having done my business with this place I learned my lesson. This is got to be one of the worst places to get car stereos installed.. I should have known better when I went in for the installation and there was no customers there but me. After I was finished I can see clearly why there wasnt.... With how they conduct business not only will ppl not come back they wont send in ppl they know either. They tried to rip me off after my install by pretending that my speakers were bad. My car is not old and the speakers were good sounding b4 in went in and they are still good after I adjusted the equalizer... I guess they use that trick often. Any way avoid being disrespected and patronize a honest business. They only got a one star because there is no option for a lesser rating.

I read these messages and these people have no lives, Ive been there myself for so many years these guys have good customer service. I understand they have a bunch of customers so they can not help everybody. They have been short staffed because of everything going on. Other than that they give good prices. They even gave me a ride to my house. I love them. I am BEYOND satisfied with how I have been treated, the work done, and the prices.

Went to the shop off the old 215 Rd, & my experience was NOT the best. I asked them to install a new stereo AND hook up my tweeter speakers in which they said they could have done the same day & had me pay upfront (stereo plus labor), then call me about 2 hours later to tell me they don’t have the dash kit for my car so I had to come back. Finally once I could get my car in they got it done within a couple hours BUT didn’t hook up my tweeter speakers! When called they said the front desk never told them, so now I have to make another appointment! Definitely not happy with how careless they’ve been. I paid the labor already so they got their money & they did HALF the job, & they didn’t even offer a refund/discount either.

I know nothing about cars went to several other audio shops that were charging me an arm and a leg to get my speakers replaced advanced car stereo took me I mas a walk in same day and had my car fixed and ready to jam! I tried to set up a appointment to get all my stuff installed and they told me it would be a 3week wait. That’s too long of a wait to not have any costumers within the last two days. I know because I drop by the location twice.

This place at first seems a little steep on price, but I was wrong. They took great care of me and the quality work that Chris and James do is next level. Ive gone back 3 times in less than 2 weeks and also took my wifes car.Had an issue with an amp, but found out the hard what, that you get what you pay for. The got me to upgrade to a better one and also wired it and set up a new base knob all for free.Keep up the good work, Ill be back soon for my double din!

Advanced car stereo in Moreno Valley is the best place to go when you need a new car stereo installed in your car. Ray and Sam tread customers with honesty and sincerity they are very much experienced and knowledgeable about the product. I wanted my car stereo installed on a Saturday and called three other car stereo installers and all of them didnt want to do it till the following week and they all told me that it would take three hours of labor time to do it. But this shop told me that they would do it and would take one hour to do it. I tried them out and they were very truthful and in good timing, friendly and reliable service. Call Ray or Sam.

Definitely pricey but you get your money’s worth I recommend you get your radio’s and speakers from here also good service.

Went there yesterday 5/9/2017. I had an issue with my Viper alarm system and was unable to find anyone to help me out on this issue. I spoke with Ray who was very helpful when it came down to the alarm system at hand. I was due for an upgrade on my system and Ray really gave me a good deal on a brand new system. He was able to set up installation all in the same day in which that is great business cause my car is my life. I was in and out in about an hour and some change and everything works like it should be. Now I have peace of mind that my vehicle is protected from theft and tend to more important things like my kids lol. Thanks Ray for the help and I can see myself returning for different upgrades to my car. If you need any help give them a call Im sure they will help you out like how they helped me.

June 24, 2020Called to ask if they are able to repair a rattling issue in my front speakers and all I got was “I don’t know boss, maybe Friday what time do you want to come in?” Then before I could answer they hung up. Glad I called before going in so i that I didn’t waste my time with this shop.

No stars. First of all, after paying for the $500 stereo, the guy grabs the $300 stereo “Same make, smaller screen” and takes it to the installer. I was not aware that it was for me because other people were there as well. After confrontation about it, I was told to come back and get the steering wheel audio done. “No charge”. Which I had already planned to do! So over all I got the small screen for the big boy price. “No Vasaline”.

BEWARE!. This is not a reputable company! I paid $842 for a car stereo. Before any merchandise was installed or any labor I changed my mind. They said NO REFUNDS NO EXCHANGES. Despite NEVER HAVING ANYTHING DONE!!! This means they are ONLY concerned about the money not the actual work or quality. They have no interest in doing the right thing, you are taking a gamble doing business with them. A business cannot have a No Refund policy. Its against the law to say you will not provide a refund under any circumstances. This includes sales, gift items and even secondhand goods.

The manager is very helpful and very good prices on everything.. Good experience.. 👌

Best audio shop in town ! Great prices and great service. Another shop gave me some burnt prices on some new radios and I looked them up after talking with them and they wanted almost triple the price . Very good prices here they always hook me up .

Shopped around for a car alarm for my son’s car, didn’t want anything expensive, Gabe worked with my budget and offered a decent price. Then my sons window wouldn’t go up, they put it up for him and offered to fix it. Once I got the parts needed, I went back and they honored the price that they originally quoted for the fix even though Gabe wasn’t there. Overall, very happy with the service, will definitely send more business their way!

It was my day off and have seen this shop many times as i drove by. Went to a shop down the road to get a quote and was heading back home and said what the hell ill stop in. I am definitely glad that i did Sam and Ray are great guys to deal with. Very informative honest and the techs do amazing work. I got my truck, boat, and sandrail all done up. Really like this spot! First time I went in there was because my speaker blew out and needed a new one so they hooked me up with a 12inc sub for a good price with the box and everything. Today I went in to get a new amp and some 6x9 for my car and once again they hooked me up with good price! Great customer service! Also had a couple problems with the wirring and they were always quick to help me out with out charging me! Highly recommended this spot.

Im usually pretty handy with electrical work and do 95% of my own auto repair, so I decided Id set the bar a notch higher - and bought a keyless entry system for my wifes car. I realized quickly that I was out of my element on this and need professional to handle this. But it was Sunday and everyone was closed.Not at Advanced Car Stereo! They were not only open, but they took on my crazy project and finished it in just a couple hours. Poppers, wiring, installation (in a car with power nothing), etc. they did it all with a smile and everyone was really cool, friendly and helpful.They have a TV they sling movies on all day, so you have something to do while you wait and the owners are really funny and knowledgeable. This is the third time throughout the years that Ive come here and never have been dissatisfied. Their prices, for the quality of work, are very reasonable.I highly recommend them.

Awesome place to get what you want in your car! I came in having an idea of what I wanted but ended up getting more than what I imagined for a steal. Also they hooked me up from what I already paid for and upgraded(for free which was an additional $40) to the new Kenwood head unit. Though at the time I didn’t know I wanted to older version. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all... I went in a little after New Years Day... Customer service lacks... I needed front and rear speakers, they charged me 300.00, with in 2 months these same speakers had blown out... I went back to them without the receipt... I talked to the big guy who installs the speakers and he said he needed the receipt to see which speakers were installed... so I said well isn’t it on the computer, he says no... So I guess I just got beat out of speakers and money... I ended up going to Nissan where I should have probably went in the first place... I definitely won’t mess with these shade tree technicians any more!

First they sold me a head unit without the harness. I went back got a different head unit but it has the wrong manual. Their products are incomplete and tampered with.

So I was a little reluctant to stop by this shop with some of the reviews I saw. It was close by so i decided to stop by anyway and man am i glad I did! Apparently this shop is under new management and SAM and Ray are great!. They helped design the sound system I have always wanted. I like to consider myself a pretty smart shopper so when they got me a deal that was almost 1000 dollars cheaper than a few a other shops I jumped on the deal asap. Ive been to some shops that after they took my money they act like didnt know me anymore but not these guys. They actually walked me through how to use my new navigation pioneer touchscreen and connect my Bluetooth. They even gave me a free alarm to keep all my new stuff safe!. Installation took some time but Id rather have it done right the first time then have a rushed job. I totally recommend this shop thanks Sam!.

I had Advance Stereo install a stereo my husband purchased online. They tested things out to make sure it worked. They showed me what they did to the car. They are honest and reasonably priced. Ray and his staff took great care of my husbands car! I had a good experience there and will be back to hook up my car with speakers!

Had hundreds of dollars worth of business done here as a first time customer, and was really hoping they would be very good with customer service if anything even happends. And a mechanic a few weeks later messed with the alarm they installed and couldnt get it back to work. So advanced stereo stepped in and took care of the mechanics mistake no questions asked. I was in and out within 15 minutes. All they ask for is a receipt and they will take care of the rest . Very happy with everything here

Filled with idiots and scammers. Went in for a new antenna replacement since my stereo wasnt picking up FM nor AM. After 1hr and a half of waiting they charge me $80 and send me on my way. I turn up the stereo and AM does not pick up any signals at all. I ask them and they say I didnt think you came in here looking to listen to AM and Use your phone app to listen to AM radio they blamed the issue on my new stereo saying that that was the problem. They replaced a second antenna and no difference. They deal with cheap parts here. Theyre rude. They dont inform you. They could have at least told me hey your AM doesnt work before they charged me. Unbelievable can honesty say I was scammed out of my money. These guys are con artist I wish that stupid closes.

Horrible experience I went to a shop expecting to be able to talk to fellow car enthusiasts but when I went there everyone was rude I thought maybe because Im young the thought I wouldnt buy anything so I ended up buying what they suggested it wouldnt even hook up to my system so I went back in 15 minutes later and they refused to help me so bottom line the make up prices

Worse customer service and to top it off they took all day just to put an alarm and replace a break switch. The worse part about it is that they made me come back the next day because they did not do it correctly the first time. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

INCOMPETENCE!!!!!!I walked in with a simple question regarding my speakers as to which was positive, which was negative(both were green, one with a yellow stripe, the other with a purple stripe) so that i can wire them to my amp in my truck. i also needed power cord, remote wire, etc....so she grabs this amp wiring kit and proceeds to tell me that all the wires and connectors i will need would be in the box. I was surprised that the connectors that went directly into my factory dodge caliber 6x9 would be in this generic kit so i asked. She assured me that they were and i was good to go. When i got home i pulled everything out to make sure it was all there. Thats when i noticed that of course this only included brass crimp on connectors. So i then call back to find out where the confusion was and really just get an answer as to positive and negative so i could solder the wires like i had originally planned and she told me that the reason she didnt tell me in the store is because the techs get paid for that knowledge so if we arent doing the install then we cant give advice. this to me is completely asinine. Even if this was the case then why did she direct me to buy this kit?This place is horrible and filled with complete MORONS!

Very unhappy with the customer service I received. I was helped by Louis, I bought a set of components and rear speakers for my car and was told it would be $125 for installation for EVERYTHING! !!!! So I drop my car off the next morning for the installation of the rear,front, and tweeter speakers. 3 hours later Louis calls and says your car is ready. I show up to pick it up and I look in the back seat and notice that the Brand new rear speakers I had purchased from them was still in the box. I asked Louis why werent these installed and he said I only charged you for the front speakers and tweeters. $125 just for front speakers and tweeters?...really?...RIP OFF!!!....claiming I said I would have someone else hook up my rear speakers...lets use a little common sense. Why would I spend $367 on speakers and pay them $125 just to hook up the front speakers and tweeters. The 1 star is for the quality of the speakers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ill never go back and I should have read the reviews first.

I went into this store to possibly get an alarm put in my car when the manager began to speak he had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. He had very poor customer service I told him I wanted to talk to the owner and he told me I could call sometime next week. He is not professional at all and I will let everyone I know of this poor customer service and how rude the manager. Gave a one star HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service...when i wasnt pleased with service after a week and two days of going back n forth to this location employees werent on the same page at all and I was told 3 different things about my car, they tried to convince me that I paid 540 for a radio...smh...owner Moe cursed at me before I could even explain why I was upset, I recorded the whole conversation and told him I would see them in court. That changed really quick an hour later he was ready to compromise and had a guy from Temecula come and install my bass...if you go to them watch them they told me they installed a couple of items and they werent even installed in my car...my advice if you still go watch them work on your car record and save everything

---- SHADY SHOP---On Sunday, January 28, 2018 I stopped by Advanced Car Stereo because they were the closest. I needed to pick up (2) pairs of 6.5 speakers for my wifes car so I can replace the stock. They said they matched online prices, but still overcharge anyway. Basically online only means Crutchfield.I had a $100 bill, and I said to add the $100 and charge the rest on my card. I made the mistake of assuming they would do it properly, I was distracted and in a hurry and wasnt really checking everything. Ronnie charged my card $150 and kept the $100. I didnt realize this until the following day when my wife asked why I spent $150 when she knew I had just gotten the $100 bill.I drive down there with my receipt and told them what happened. I was nice at first, but they were like we didnt see any $100 bill, you told us to put it all on the card So then I just saw red, and I pointed at the kid who sold me the speakers and said you know what you did, dont make me go down this road, it wont be good for any of you I noticed they had cameras so I said check the footage. They told me that only the owner could, so I said call the owner then. They call him and he said hes busy, come back tomorrow at 9:30am and he will review the footage with me.So I go there at 9:30, dudes not there. I asked the guy inside to call him and he said he doesnt have his number. I said of course you dont, youre just trying to cover for him now. I looked at the camera that was above where I was standing when I bought the speakers and noticed that the wire running to it was cut. Then I saw he had a sign that said he other stores, so I call the store in Temecula and ask to get the phone number for the owner. She wont give it out, and I told her it was regarding theft. She still wouldnt give it out but she would give a message. So I told her tell Mo to give me back my money or the next phone call is to the police and hung up.Less than a minute later the phone rings and the guy answers it and is whispering in the corner. Then he starts counting money and gives me $100. He said Im just the middle man, Im just doing what Im told. Lovely customer service, told to lie and steal. Never again will I go here.

Just took my car to this shop.. I was stopping in to get a quote on a new stereo.. and they helped out so much I ended up buying and getting one installed that day within 2 hrs it was cheaper then a previous quote I had gotten somewhere else...good service and everything is working great. Thx Sam.
