Fantastic service! Had my 1999 Toyota camry in for tint all the way around. I was very impressed that they were able to remove my old tint that was almost 15 years old and pealing. It turned out great and turn around time was under 48hrs! This is what it looked like after the work was done. Very happy.

So Im from Atlanta GA and Im attending UTI in MOORESVILLE NC. I decide one morning to get the tent done on my BMW and I Google the nearest tent shop an I found Custom Daves Window Tinting. Long story short I visited the business and was immediately turned off by the off putting looks I received. I asked about getting some tent done and was told straight up WE DONT DO TINT HERE😡. Me like 😐 oook. That was weird indeed. I left immediately 😳. Apparently they dont actually do Tinting 🤷🏾‍♂️

This is about the 4th truck ive had done here and its always flawless! They take pride in their work and it shows! Im sure that you can find someone to do your tint a little bit cheaper (not much) but theres no way that you will get the quality of workmanship that Dave gives. I would rather pay Dave double than go somewhere else because Ive tried going somewhere else to save a few dollars... and I ended up having Dave redo the tint about 3 weeks later 🤣. Learn from my mistake and just start off going to Custom Daves, you wont regret it.

First things first these people have you make an appointment for you to drop off your car all day if I’m gonna drop my car off for a service that takes about an hour why make an appointment, anyway I make the appointment and she tells me to drop it off anytime in the morning I then get there in the morning for her to tell me that she said between 8-9am I was never told between 8-9am so they wanted me to reschedule this is lazy work I’ll take my $280 else where and I usually use this place for window tinting but I’ll make sure no one I know goes here anymore, thanks for the inaccuracy

Getting windows done here since 2005. Windows have always held up. Disappointing experience this time. Residue that wont come out and drip marks on the seats and door panels on a brand new vehicle. Guy came out to spot clean but I still had marks left. We need Dave back. Hired help doesnt treat his business the same.

So far so good, my windshield was broke by a rock less then a month of having my window tint put on, the fella said tint is warranted and covered and they will reapply new tint when the new windshield is put on. Very reputable shop and applied the tint well(Update) went to do my windshield and I was not pleased with my tint options. I was offered a refund for my windshield tint which...I accepted sadly. But at the end of the day they offer top notch quality customer service. Still I give them 5/5 star. Good work guys.

Had my car tinted here twice and both times everything looked great. I got them done illegaly the first time and he actually warned me but I did it anyway and of course received a ticket and had to have it removed. I looked to see if I could find any residual glue and it seems whoever did my vehicle did an awesome job of removing it. Would definitely recommend to others.

Should have written a review a while ago. Daves tinted my last 5 or so cars. This last one they did a removal and retint to take care of subpar existing tint on my new to me car. Was told they would fix the tint for free if it didnt pass inspection. It didnt so took it back in. Was told $100 to remove or $250 to tint again with a passable tint. Buyer beware...

Got my VW Jetta tinted here years ago and never had a problem. Now Im bringing my fiancees new Ford Fiesta to have it tinted.Update. These guys have tinted 3 more vehicles for me, and Ive sent everyone I know here!

Paid Custom Daves shop $80 to remove the tint on my car when it wasnt able to pass inspection. Brought the car in later and paid$120 to have legal tint installed. Brought in a second car (wagon) for tint install, paid $170.Later noticed something under the tint on drivers side window on the wagon, they reinstalled the tint without charge. Noticed moreof the same debris of some sort under tint on the rear hatch of the first car I had done at this shop so I brought it back as well.Was told you can never get rid of all the old glue or something to that effect, the shop did not help further.- I paid Custom Daves $80 to remove the old tint that was too dark to pass inspection. $80 doesnt include glue removal?- The first time I had this same car tinted (different shop out of state), I decided the tint was too light and paid to have thetint removed and replaced with darker tint. Both jobs were spotless, not a speck of old glue clumps under the second tint jobanywhere.Based on previous tint work Ive had done on these cars, I never even knew specks of old tint glue being left behind under the new tint was anissue before having work done at Custom Daves Tint in Mooresville. Both cars I had tinted at Custom Daves had glue specs or bumpsunder the tint film (you can see and feel it under the tint). This being an issue on one car, well I guess nothing is perfect. Buttwo cars with the same problem? This shop is definitely not recommended. Bad quality work. Never again.

Ok since I cant make a second review im editing mine from 4 years ago lol. I have been getting my windows tinted here since 05. The SunTek film he uses has held up great over the years and really blocks out the heat. I have moved since then but waited until my next trip to charlotte from ohio to get my tint done. A great film is nothing if its not installed properly. Anyone that lives in charlotte, take the ride! Totally worth it. Thanks Dave!!!
