This is the first negative google review I have ever left. When I decided to sell my home I spoke with several realtors in the area. The agency of Lawrie Lawrence had the best sales pitch which ultimately secured my business. I wish I could report differently on the outcome however I feel I have to be honest and explain the course of events that led to my complete dissatisfaction with this agency. I felt that once I had signed the contract with them I was like a pot put on the back burner. The original drone footage and photographs taken for mls were lacking in emphasizing the main selling points of the home. Literally 5 or 6 seconds of the drone footage was of the sky. The interior photographs did not even show the expansive lake view which was the primary selling point. These two issues were rectified however I felt that I had somehow offended the agency by pointing this out. From that point on I was hardly treated as a valued client. At times I felt I was treated rudely and communications became strained at best. This culminated when my buyer literally called my personal phone on a Tuesday asking why their several emails from the precious Friday regarding closing had remained unanswered. When I inquired about this I was told “it came in after the office had closed Friday and we were too busy on Monday to get to it”. This was late Tuesday afternoon I was called. I find this unacceptable. For a million dollar home I would have expected immediate contact regarding closing. I hope you have better luck if you use this agency but I felt it necessary to put my experience out there.

When Lawrie and Terri first came to our home for an interview, they immediately recognized the special qualities and uniqueness our home offered. We listed in the middle of Covid-19 not knowing what to expect (and not expecting to sell any time soon). Despite the restrictions, we had safe showings and found a buyer in short order. The process from start-to-finish was painless and much smoother than we could have imagined. Glad we followed Lawries advice and talked to them before choosing someone another agency. Kudos to the entire team for a job well done!!!

Lawrie and his team listed and sold my Lake Norman home. He listed it at a price I thought was high side of fair, and sold it twice within 4 months (the first buyer blew out for “ family reasons” at the last minute. He and his entire team are pros, and they have a commanding web presence. Highly recommended for Lake Norman real estate.

Soon after just a few months my house was under contract and finally closed. Lawrie Lawrence does what he says he will do and that is sell your house. His marketing strategies and longstanding record of home sales speaks for itself. All I know is he sold my house in record time and i could finally get on with my life. Totally frustrated. My home has been on the market for 4 months. I chose this realtor because I have a horse property. It has been shown only 6 times. Feedback is only through an app and provides no valuable information, there is no personalized service. A price drop from a month ago is not showing up. The realtor was friendly and helpful until the contract was signed but has since been snotty. The photographer was not briefed on the property having two homes, took photos with cars in the driveway and generally rushed through and missed an entire master bedroom! The sign guy was sick so that was an extra week and then it was installed poorly and was tipping over. This took two phone calls to have corrected. A prospective buyer pried a stone off the front steps so they could claim the listing was poorly maintained after spending nearly 4 hours at the house over two visits. The company does no marketing- they rely exclusively on SEO, are resistant to reviewing comps and do not track the local market. This has been a miserable experience.
