Extremely poor customer service! Service manager and employee has no desire to listen to customer wishes or desired repairs. They simply do as they wish. They take days to “diagnose “ problems even after customer has told them what problems need to be resolved. Wait weeks to get parts delivered to them with nothing being done. Owner has no clue what is going on and doesn’t apologize for mistakes he made. Constant lies and excuses. Argue with customer on why they didn’t perform repairs customer desired in the beginning. Charge 110.00 per hour for work after waiting weeks to work on mower and doing just a few hours of repairs.

2 weeks ago I took my snapper riding lawnmower in to them as it would not start. The man said that he would evaluate the problem in a couple of days and give ma an estimate of the work and cost.. 12 days later I had not heard from him so I went to his shop and ask about the status. He said that it would be about $180 approximately. I told him to proceed. Then today he called me and like we had never spoke he advised that the cost would be $360.+/-. I told him I would pick up my mower. When I picked it up he advised me that since I was not having them do the work that there was a $110 charge for the Diagnostic of the problem. This was never mentioned. Needless to say this leaves me with a bad taste and would not recommend them.

I bought a Huskvarna 42 riding mower and I am very pleased with it. They delivered it to my driveway (as it was off season) and the technician went over everything with me, including maintenance, as I told him that I do my own maintenance work and repairs. It has been about 3 years since I bought it and it runs great. I do my own service and they have been very helpful with any questions or parts that I needed to do my maintenance. My home has 3/4 of an acre to mow. I also mow both sides of the road on the neighboring lots with 3 passes (about 1/4 mile) on each side of the road. My neighbors and I walk our dogs there. I highly recommend purchasing a mower from LKN Small Engine.

We bought a zero turn mower from LKN and they were absolutely awsome! If you are looking for good customer service and good prices look no further. I will gladly refer anyone I know to LKN.

Bought a commercial Husqvarna mower 8-7-19 and wheel fell 8-19-20 with 91hrs of use on same 3 acre lot. Serviced by LKN annually. Picked up quickly by LKN Small Engine, waited 3 days and called to check on diagnosis. Parts ordered, but unknown arrival. Asked to get back to me on arrival of parts. 3 more business days and a weekend later no call from LKN. I inquired again, additional parts needed to be ordered.... ok another week out. Went around the same revolving door again of no updates another week. 4 weeks later finally completed with news of no warranty coverage, surprise bill to me. I would not recommend a Husqvarna product and after the lack of communication/sense of urgency, LKN Small Engine either.

I took my Husqvarna mower and string trimmer to LKN Small Engine on Monday March 29, 2021 for regular service/maintenance. I was told 1.5 - 2 weeks turn around. After multiple calls on status I finally got my mower back on Saturday April 17, 2021. My string trimmer was not ready. Again I had to call for status and finally on Wednesday April 28, 2021 it was ready. They may be good on repairs but they lack the ability to communicate realistic time frames and keeping the customer informed. Worst of all, while waiting on speaking to someone there is continuous loop of how much they care about customer service!!

If I could give a zero I would. 3 men sitting behind a desk not willing to move or help. Helped a man that came in after me right in the middle of my transaction. Took 20 minutes to drop off a blower to be repaired. Kept the blower for over two weeks, didnt even look at it until I called to ask the status and then charged $50 to diagnose that its unrepairable. Deplorable customer service. Too bad they hardly have any competition, this is their savior.

They may do good work but their Customer service is terrible and 2 weeks they lied to me about a part and had to drive 2 hours have to go back another 2 hours. They kept my parts now what? How much is your time worth? They could ( at least service) care less. I lost time and money sat in front of the service guy (K....) for about a hour while he played on his computer and typed with one finger. With a place with that Volume you need Customer service.

LKN Small Engine cares about helping you choose the best equipment for your needs. They also help you on how to use and maintain your equipment. They recommend that you should use non-ethanol fuel (they saved me lots of time and costs on repairs by telling me to use non-ethanol fuel). Their prices are really good compared to other dealers in the area. CODY IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

They were supposed to be looking for a 52 inch Scag mower for us. Never bothered to call back.

Brought my craftsman mower in after recommendation from the warranty company. I only had this machine for approx. 6-7 months, and it stopped working. My goal was to have the mower looked at and have the service completed as per the warranty. I called multiple times over 2 weeks. I never received a phone call saying that the work was not covered by the warranty.I finally received notice that the mower was ready. I went to pick it up. To my surprise, I found out the work was completed and a request had not been sent to the warranty company because it turned on after the service tech changed spark plugs and filter, and that I was billed $82.00. I was at the place being told I have a bill and they didn’t even try and see if the work was covered by the warranty. I left and called in and they said they have experience with this and warranty would not cover the work. They should have called me if they looked at the machine and knew it wouldnt be covered. It costs $25.00 for the work that was completed. 3-4 weeks in i give in and pick it up and i pay the fee but the machine didn’t turn on. So I had to leave and come back again. I lost total confidence in this company.I feel like I got hustled. They take too long to complete the work. Lack of communication. Deceptive practices

Excellent work and efficient service from very knowledgeable team. I took my push mower and riding tractor in on a Saturday, both needing serious maintenance (neither was running) and they finished the work in less than a week. Pretty remarkable considering it’s March and I’m sure they are busy. Both services at price quoted. Highly recommend these folks, wish they were closer.

I brought my chipper/mulcher to LKN SMALL ENGINE, which had a Viper engine, because it wouldnt start. Terrible service experience. Was not given a courtesy call asking whether I would authorize $350 in service charges on my old lawn tractor that would not fix the problem. Was informed that it would take $650 to properly fix the problem. Tried to get a sales person to call me back to purchase a new lawn tractor but was never shown that courtesy either. Finally negotiated a $280 repair bill. Never heard from a sales person. Now I have a lawn mower that wont run right and I am out $280 and have to go and buy a new lawn tractor. I am now an ex customer and I will spend my $2,000 to $3,000 equipment purchase and my $200 to $400 annual maintenance budget elsewhere. Done.

LKN has done several repairs on my small engine products over the last couple of years. All repairs have been done right, quickly, and for a reasonable price. I used other repair places in the 15 years I have lived here and have had to take stuff back for adjustments or repairs didnt last etc. Not so here. Thanks to the entire staff at LKN. Be very careful LKN does not do what it claims. I was told that my equipment would be returned within one week. I was never contacted and had to call after weeks in the shop. After almost one month after I called, the day before delivery, I paid the full invoice. The day of delivery I asked about my two other small engine items. Jeff indicated that the blower was not ready and did not know when it would be complete due to a part. I asked for all to be returned and I would repair and deduct from invoice. Jeff said that he could not do that since there was labor involved. All of this the day after I paid the entire amount of the bill that I was asked to pay. I hope they will return my mower and my other two items. The manager said that he would send them and not charge for one edger service. The owner was in Mexico and not available. I would he would call me once he returned.

Just bought a Husqvarna zero turn, dump cart, hitch kit, and blower at LKN Small engine earlier this week. Cody was very helpful both in sending me information via email after I called with some questions and again helping me decide on the right unit for me in store.Cody followed up between my purchase and delivery dates to offer me the chance to come in and make sure I was 100% confident in running the new mower. I have run this type of equipment before but think this is a really nice touch. Basically a test drive that helps identify any small tweaks needed to fit the mower to the new owner.Price was great, as I took advantage of 20% off husqvarna. Service was exceptional. Needed work on the starter for my trimmer. They were quick in determining the issue and providing me with an estimate. They answered all my questions and were quick to finish the repair once I approved the estimate. The did a great job and the trimmer works fine now. Hurricane IRMA was headed this way and when I tried my generator it would not start. I checked and my generator had gas in the oil! I thought it was dead but called LKN Small Engines after looking at the reviews. I know why they have 5 stars now!! LKN was able to repair my generator saving me the money of having to buy a whole new one. Even though IRMA turned there was a complete turn around because they understood the importance of having the generator ready before the storm. Very Fair, Friendly and FAST, what more could you ask for, and it is uncommon these days. Thanks LKN Small Engine Repair!!

Dropped a power washer off for a service. This is a business that understands customer service. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Their on-line forms for giving an estimate and notifying when the work is done works great. A lot of larger businesses could learn from Jared and entire team there.

I would recommend Jared and Cody for any work needed. They are very professional, personable, know their stuff and dont try to talk you into things you dont need. Jared not only fixed it the same day(Saturday) but picked it up AND delivered it. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, rates and integrity! He even came by the next day to troubleshoot an issue I was having with the cultivator.... Top notch service!!! Highly recommend!!

Took my leaf blower in to see if they could get it going again. Tried to sell me a new one with a trade in but I really only wanted mine fixed. They said they’d would fix it. 2 week’s went by and I called to check on the status as I had not heard back and was told that they were backed up but would move mine up in priority. 2 week’s later they called and said that 2 bolts were fastened with heavy thread locker and it would take an hour to get them off and the labor wouldn’t be worth it. I appreciated the honesty but I told them I would come pick it up and not to do it. Went by to pick it up and they again tried to get me to trade it in on a new one. Then the gentlemen went to get my blower and came back to tell me that it wasn’t ready and that they weren’t sure that I was coming to pick it up. Waited for about 10-15 mins for them to put it back together. Poor customer experience for me. Hope that it was just an exception.

We took our Echo gas hedge trimmer in this morning for repairs. Cody greeted us and was very helpful. He was able to fix the trimmer within 5 mins. GREAT Customer Service and THANKS for your help and kindness.

Usually small engine repair shops are not very reliable for meeting deadlines.... this is the exception! Not only do they meet the times promised they keep you informed along the process. Jared Goes above and beyond, Both times I have used Jared he picked everything up and fixed my riding lawn, and ATVs in a timely and cost effective manner. I also had him change the oil on my push mower and power washer which was also done quickly. I will definitely be using LKN again.
