Chuck and the staff there were most helpful in getting our 1967 Volkswagen running. Since it had been in storage for over 20 years it needed some basic maintenance and parts replacement. The results were as we had hoped, back in running condition at a reasonable price. Since we now live out of the area, Chuck stayed in contact with us to let us know what was needed and how much our costs would be. The result was our vehicle is running again and we were very satisfied with the price and effort that this company put into our project. Very friendly, good people. Would definitely recommend and will use again if we are back in the area.

Honesty integrity friendly helpfulChuck had warned me in November that I was going to need a water pump within a few months and gave me an idea what to expect. I stopped in Monday and confirmed it was time, had it replaced Tuesday and am very happy with quiet running car by days end. Always a smile and a ride from Amanda softens the blow to the purse. Getting a new mechanic is very stressful. You have to trust their skills and their ethics. Ive been nothing but thrilled at the work weve have done so far. The owner takes time to chat with my husband and makes him feel like a valued customer.

I brought my vehicle to Peebles for the first time about 4 months ago. I had a long list of items that the previous owner of my vehicle had from a specialist of whom inspected my vehicle before I had it shipped to me. Chuck from Peebles was gracious enough to hear me out and listen to all the details I had from the list. I took one of the technicians (Danny ) for a test drive and I left my vehicle with Peebles for about a week and all the work was completed. That being said, they saved me a good amount of dough because many of the items on the list either didnt need to be repaired only adjusted. Since then I have brought my vehicle back for anything I need to get repaired. Most recently, today 12/7/17. In the midst of snow coming down like crazy. My power steering started to whine like no tomorrow. I happened to only be about a mile down the road. I pulled into Peebles to see if one of the techs could take a look. Mike (the owner) shot right out from the shop (they were very busy by the way) and took one look and had a really good idea what was going on. He was able to get me back on the road in 10 minutes. I cant say enough what a blessing Mike, Chuck and Danny have been for me and my FJ60. I really appreciate the effort, straight forward approach and professional work.Thanks guys!

Excellent service, fair prices. We took our truck to Peebles to have the rear main seal replaced. Based on our experience, we followed up with an oil change and tire rotation for my car. Will definitely return for any vehicular maintenance and/or repairs.

Peebles has worked on my 2015 Silverado 1500. Between an alignment, an oil change or tire rotation, they always do a superb job. Peebles staff is great and their customer service to auto mechanics is on point. Wouldn’t go no where else. Fully satisfied and recommends them to anyone.

Needed a diagnostic. Their quote was the highest out of 3 places called. Was told they had no vehicle to drive while ours was in the shop. They did offer to take us home once we dropped off our vehicle.

Went there for my inspection and they found an issue with my tie rod ends. I normally do my own repairs but the price was very fair and I need an alignment anyways so I set an appointment and dropped my truck off. They dropped me back off at my home and had my truck ready to go before noon. Great experience, highly recommend these guys!

Peebles Automotive serviced our vehicles for nearly 25 years. We followed Mike from his humble beginnings on Broad Street in Mooresville to Hwy. 150 to their current location. We brought him every make and model we owned. He and his skilled mechanics helped us get every mile out of the life of our cars and trucks!If there was a repair needed that he couldnt provide, he had fair and reputable referrals. The crew are always happy to provide service with reassuring smile. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else. In fact, today I joked with Mike saying that he cant retire until they take my drivers license away because Im too old to drive!Bottom line: You cant go wrong entrusting your vehicle to Mike Peebles for service and repair.

One of the few shops I would let touch my work truck. Clean comfortable waiting area, clean shop with qualified technicians. Got me back on the road in an emergency on a busy day and was there to follow up on the repair. Would recommend them to any one looking for a good honest shop in the Mooresville NC location.

Amazing tow company sweet caring people here and they make sure they look out for ya my car got towed here after an accident awaiting an adjuster to look at it even though it wasnt my fault she wasn’t driveable 😭but he literally calmed me down and explained everything to me great people here and set my mind at ease about my baby 😭 and i actually feel okay after going in and talking with them about my baby sitting there for a little bit nice clean yard very secure and safe and very professional

Great Diagnostics ... found the root cause quickly and reasonably.

Not really happy with this place. Everyone said good things but my experience wasnt all that.Went and done an alignment on my truck and when I got my truck back my front driver side tire was camberd out so bad that it was totally obvious. It wasnt like that when I dropped it off. Called them back after I got it to where I was going and all they had to say is well the paper work is correct. $80 plus i had to take my truck some where else so they could fix the problem! Not happy!

They had my in storage went to pick it up. the tow truck handler cause damage to the rare tail gate mess it up when letting of tow truck management was nasty about how they spoke to me and how and did not resolve the matter. on top of it all they charge me some ridiculous price just to pickup my vehicle and kept it for overnight

Trust worthy with stand behind quality workmanship.

I became a customer last April when my horse trailer needed brake service. While my trailers was at Peebles, I was sent a text photo showing that my tires were starting to dry rot. These tires were over 5 years old and original with buying this trailer new. I agreed that it was ok to replace the tires. The former barn associate took the trailer to Peebles and made arrangements and communications to me about the needs for the trailer. I entrusted that my best interest was being looked after by both parties. The trailer was returned to me on a Wednesday, and Friday I left for a horse show that was 3 hours away. No driving hazzards occured, but in return from the show, one of the tires exploded....not a blow out, but literally exploded. Peebles did take the trailer back and replaced all four tires to the same brand but the more expensive model at no further charges to me. These tires now have about 30 or so hours on them. The trailer is only used for horse show purposes. After this short time usage, all four tires are chunking and one imparticular tire, shows complete wear of the tread. I took the trailer to Peebles and showed them the tires. Mike looked first and said that I had been driving too fast. I could not drive over 55mph with these tires. I was never told this, nor would I have purchased tires that could not hold up to highway travel or the speed limits which are most places 65mph. Next his service employee, Terry, comes to view the tires and says that it is a bent axel. He did not even bend over or kneel down, just knew that was the problem. Both said they were not helping out or replacing anymore tires. So, after 30 hours of use, I had to replace the set of tires which my car automotive service facility did for me. From there I immediately drove it to a trailer service and sales dealership and left it for evaluation of the axel. It was not bent, nor even out of balance. I called Peebles 3 times after and explained that my car service facility said that their tires were cheap and not quality for hauling a two horse fully loaded trailer. The trailer service/dealership saw the tires and said the same thing. Peebles has said that I had to do something within my driving to have caused this and that they would not stand behind the faulty tires. Blow outs do happen. Curbs/ pot holes and other occurances do happen, but all 4 tires were chunking and this particular brand that they used is not quality or safe for what its intended use was for me and my horses safety. I had hoped that they would feel an obligation to at least contact the Carlisle tire maker and try to help. No one should have to buy a whole new set of tires at premium price to only last 30 hours before they are becoming unsafe to use. I have written to the maker of this tire as well. Hopefully this post will keep this from happening to anyone else.
