I witnessed the attendant professionally ask a man to leave, she remained calm and called the police who arrived within minutes. The man was removed. It’s nice to know the safety of their customers is highly valued by this laundry. I love this place.

Clean easy use machines with people to help if you need it. I even used the laundry service (per pound) it was nice to drop off my clothes and return with them folded and just pick them up. Very convenient for people who dont have the time!

A quaint full service laundromat tucked behind shaded trees. There is an area for bored children to play, adults to sit and read, or surf wifi. The machines worked with no issues, though I did hope for the dryer to be faster. Overall a very pleasant laundry experience for an on the go traveler. Complimentary Coffee!

Ugh - check whats in the washing machine before you put your clothes in! I made the terrible mistake of loading two machines without paying attention until I went to throw the pods in. Gross - both machines filled with dog or cat hair. I pulled my sheets and clothes out to move to another machine, unfortunately covered with animal hair now. The place has the appearance of being clean, its light and bright, plenty of places to sit and wait. Ive been to other laundromats where an attendant is checking machines after every load, and cleaning up after animal hair. Ill look for one like that in the area next time. The photo only shows a fraction of the hair, since I removed most of it with my items.

We stopped in to do a load of laundry after staying the night in Montrose on our RV trip through Colorado. The facilities were clean & well laid out, the laundry area appeared well maintained, and we had no issues with the machines that we used. The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed a nice chat about our travels. I highly recommend.

The old lady wanted to be all up in mine and my family’s business because we didn’t have our masks on properly when we have medical health problems and told us if we didn’t have our masks on she would stop the washers and kick us out she had someone tell us that she was fighting cancer and asthma and the law is you cant make us wear masks i have a very bad mental health isssue and another woman came in WITH NO MASK. And she didnt say nothing about it. Im giving this place a one star because i do not tolerate that type of behavior and wanting to make a big scene .

The very best place to do laundry in town! Always clean, very friendly and helpful staff.The ladies are delightful but, the young man that works there needs some customer service training! He was rude and not at all helpful. I am a regular there but, if I see his car there, I will go elsewhere to do my laundry!

Just moved back to Montrose after being gone 7 years. As luck would have it, the sensor on the washer broke, so my husband and I had to go to Southside. Glad we did. Rhoda was not only friendly and helpful, but she also had guessed (correctly) what was wrong with our washer. Thank you Rhoda.

Im from out of town, and where Im from laundromats are pretty run down and dirty. Not here! It was SO CLEAN and the staff was super nice and helpful, there was a very nice lady when I stopped in. They have WiFi and everything. I wish more laundromats were like this.

My husband and I like to travel light, so were always on the lookout for a good laundromat at or near our destination. Southside is terrific, easily the best laundromat weve been to! Rhoda is very energetic and helpful, the facility itself is extremely clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of snacks and drinks available for purchase. We highly recommend it!

It’s clean and reasonably priced, but it is almost as though they have never experienced kiddos before. Kiddos run around, play with toys, laugh, and sometimes get a bit loud. I don’t appreciate the older gals getting on my children for being children. It’s a laundromat.

This is the best laundromat that Ive ever been to! Clean, lots of machines for any size load and polite staff onsite. There have a waiting area serving coffee, has a microwave and they also take are of special laundry needs.

I do not live or is from Montrose area. Came here because washer and dryer was out at the motel I was staying at. A bit pricey and 12 or 10 minute drying time. I would give this place 2 1/2 stars.

Big thumbs up to Southside Laundry my husband and I are full-time RVers and have been cruising the entire west over the last six years. Have been in laundromats over 150 times. This one is easily in the top five. Super clean, no out of order machines, no mismatched washers and dryer‘s. Wi-Fi, reasonably priced and well stocked vending machines. We’ve done laundry in everything from A to Z. Southside definitely gets five stars.
