I would give Alan King 10 stars if I could! We were out of town on vacation, heading home when we found out one of our trucks broke down. Our mechanic called everywhere local and couldn’t find the part so we called Bham Southland Int. who told us Montgomery had the part we needed. Montgomery’s phones were messed up but Alan reached out to us knowing how desperate we were for this part and he let us pay for the part over the phone and even DELIVERED IT TO US AFTER HOURS ON A SATURDAY while headed to eat lunch with his family because we wouldn’t have made it to the shop before they closed! He kept thanking us for our business and said if we ever needed anything for us to call him. When we told him how much we appreciated him he said that was what he was there for and that Southland International strives for customer excellence and he was more than happy to help. I don’t know if everyone at Southland goes above and beyond for their customers but I do know that Alan does. Can’t say enough good things about him. Every employee at every company should be modeled after him. Thank you for actually caring about your customers. I will gladly do business with Southland and Alan again!

It’s hard in this era finding people who mean what they say, usually when you call a shop they always say ( bring it in we can get to you and it’s 3 days later your truck is in the shop) I called and ask can I get in they said yes, I was nervous because they close early, but I was done as they was closing and the good thing it was another driver waiting while they was closing they made sure he got done before they left, it was nothing major ( come on let’s be realistic) it’s good to find a shop where people care more about their word a good name will last longer then getting a one time customer!!

I had my truck towed to this international dealership for a Transmission issue. I have a 2012 prostar, automatic. And it was having shifting issue. Well after a few days at this repair shop, I get a call from the service manager explaining to me that the truck is having all these electrical issues. The head light wiring is incorrect, and the wiring underneath the transmission is incorrect. So there unable to get a good read on the issue, unless I approve more diag hours. And in order to fix it, I would have to rewire the truck correctly, which would be very expensive, and not worth it. I even went to this shop and spoke with the manager personally and he basically said I should get rid of it. They basically charged me $680.00 for advice and bad diagnosis.A few days later,I had this truck towed to Rush Truck Center in Atlanta. They had this truck fixed the same day. Turns out it was just a sensor. No complaints or issues about headlight wiring, or Transmission wiring. No extra diag fees. All together I paid $1078.00 for the repair. And the truck is back on the road running fine.I normally dont write reviews. But I had to this time. Cause alot of what this shop was saying didnt make sense. This is the to all truck driver, I own a few trucks, if a shop is telling you something and it doesnt make sense spend the time and take it somewhere else to get a better opinion.

Brought my truck In ac compressor would not fire after letting loves truck shop install new one come to find out did not even need new compressor it was a wiring issue in on Wednesday out Thursday they have made great strides on getting one truck owner operator out as fast as they can Tim and Service department are always helpful really pleased could have been a little cheaper but you get what you pay for
