Dale was professional and very fast. He sharpened a cherished 40 yr old hand forged butcher knife I bought in Korea to a razor sharpe edge. Not only did he sharpen it but he researched my knife and told me it was made from railroad tracks with a chestnut handle. He also sharpened some Alaskan ulus and pinking shears.Highly recommend Dale for your blade sharpening needs. His prices are very reasonable.

Wow! He took estate sale knives (pictured with tile background) that were in BAD shape and sharpened them to a dangerously sharp level. They are now my favorite knives and I can slice paper thin cuts with very little effort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I needed a few kitchen knives sharpened. Called the other knife sharpening business in Montgomery, they were a little unwelcoming on the phone. The turnaround was a week. So then called Delano’s, said that the knives could be sharpened and returned by the end of the day, so I went there. The gentleman was friendly and professional; said that they would be done in an hour or so and that he would call when they were ready. An hour later, my knives were sharpened better than new. Great interaction and I will be returning for future business. Thank you, great work.

Dale is hands down the best sharpener I have ever used. Ive been grooming for about 13 years and have worked in Illinois and here in Alabama. I have used local sharpeners as well as sent my blades and scissors off to out of state sharpeners and this is the best work I have ever had done. Even my very old blades that I was told were dead cut amazing now and us groomers know how expensive it can get to keep replacing blades/scissors. If youre looking for someone who is professional, knowledgeable, and just plain friendly who knows how to do the job right then Dale is your man. ❤️

Dale does an amazing job! He goes way above any sharpener Ive ever had over my 15 yrs of grooming. If something isnt working he will try his hardest to fix it if he can. He takes his time getting the right edge to maximize sharpness and longevity. He explains everything to you thoroughly. He will travel to you and sharpen on site or pick up if you cant stop by his shop. He continues his education making sure he stays up to date with any new ways to sharpen. Seriously dont waste your money sending your tools out to someone give Dale a call you wont regret it.
