Five stars for amazing customer service. I was approached three times, (3x), by associates asking me if they could assist me in finding what I was looking for. I was shopping for two unusual items and their assistance resulted in my purchasing.This store has figured out that if a customer walks in the door, they likely are looking for something to purchase. They also look at what the customer is doing. If wandering around, as I was, they probably need assistance.I’m impressed with how this Office Depot store has adjusted their internal operations to compete with online shopping. Customer service and immediate availability is the competitive advantage for physical stores.

I like shopping school supplies or other office stuffs and this place offers it all. You can buy computer desks, book shelves, office/computer chairs, printers, laptops etc. here.. I was just roaming around and 2 employees actually asked me if they can help me find whatever Im looking for.. that is a good customer service because theyre always willing to help. FedEx is inside here aswell, so if youre planning to use its services, it is available here. Prices are seamming fine. But compared to the same printer as I bought from costco.. It was priced $50 less in costco, but maybe I was just able to get a promotional deal that time. Anyway, office supplies.. this should be your go to place.

Placed order for in store pick up on 04/23rd . I was advised that order was not fulfilled due to debit card declining, this was false . I then went back to the store advised manager Chris that Office Depot did indeed deduct the funds from my account . He then canceled the order . I was told to wait 3-5 business days for fun funds to be released. It has now been 9 days and my funds I paid are still not refunded . I then called customer service and have been transferred to one incompetent agent after another . I was offered store credit by one of many supervisors that I spoke with and the call dropped . I then called back and was handed over to an extremely beyond rude supervisor who refused to assist me due to my frustration he told me the only option was to call my bank on a conference call and have them release the funds, well unbeknownst to him I have already filed a dispute for this amount but the bank denied it because they are convinced that the printer was delivered and it was not, the ink was delivered . The printer was set for in store pick up . Still no resolution . Contacting corporate and the BBB . WILL NOT EVER SHOP WITH OFFICE DEPOT EVER AGAIN . Lack of accountability, lack of understanding, lack of willingness to help customers, incompetent and unwilling to help customers . MAJOR INCONVENIENCE.

I have an upcoming training that requires a print job so I thought I would try Office Depot because of the location and what I thought would be a quick turnaround. MISTAKE! I arrived and signed in, received a text message saying my wait time was 5 minutes. I received another text update stating my wait was approximately 1 minute.The copy/print department was not busy and there were two employees in the department. I actually watched one of the employees talk on the cell phone, eat a snack, and assist others who walked to the counter. A manager, Daniel, asked if I needed assistance, I explained I was awaiting on copy/print. About 20 minutes went by and Daniel returned asking what I needed. He was able to assist me and I left. After leaving, I received a message saying I had made it to the front of the line 35 minutes after arriving.The system seems to be broken. If you require a sign in, then have everyone sign in and assist in that order. If there is an issue, communicate that to the customers. The employees yesterday had no sense of urgency and clearly no regard for the customers time.I have shopped in the store several times and been greeted and asked numerous times if I needed assistance. This negative experience is strictly with copy/print.

Please do not shop online at Office Depot. They will take your money for something that is out of stock and you have to fight to get it back in a timely manner. They want you to wait seven days for your own money because of an error in their system and then tell you they can do nothing about it. Businesses complain about the lack of customers visiting their stores, instead using online services. Today, my husband and I went into the local Office Depot in Montgomery, AL., to have several sheets laminated. My husband went to the printing department where this work is done. He had a question before he requested the work order and signing in. Two employees were standing in the department getting small amounts of paper out of a box, then shaking the paper and guessing the weight, then the other person would do the same. Both employees knew my husband was standing at the counter but did not acknowledge him until after couple walked up and then told him he needed to sign in. They immediately waited on the couple. My husband had signed in, then told them he had work he had wanted them to do, but since they would not acknowledge him, he would take his business elsewhere.He then requested to speak to the manager. After several minutes, we walked from the side of the store and looked like he had been asleep. My husband explained his experience with the two employees in the printing department. He never spoke a word. He just stood there and barely moved his head.By the way, I also had picked up several items to purchase, but put the items back. We will take our office supply business to other local businesses. We just recently purchased two office desks from Office Depot.This is one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever experienced. Whats the problem with workers today? Are they being trained properly? Do they want to work or do they just want a pay check and know its difficult for employers to fire employees today?Maybe, businesses need to look at Chick-fil-As training guide! Have you ever been to Chick-fil-A and not be greeted like they mean it. All of their employees act like they care you are there and want to serve your needs. And, you are never over looked.If Office Depot located on Vaughn Road in Montgomery, AL continues to handle customers like they did us, they will soon be hanging a Store Closing sign in the door, like they did their Ann Street location.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I am a graphic designer that needed a flyer hand out printed from another city. 24 hours after they said it would be ready they call me saying they dont understand how to print a half page flyer. I used their online service to load in the image. They then say their cutter is broken and I could cut out 250 flyers myself. Very low standards. I have also be on hold for over 30 minutes trying to cancel my order. DO NOT USE.

Never use this store the service here is horrible the store manger quote on quote he told me he was the assistant manger last time I was here he seen me sign in to copy and print and knew they was closed while taking a personal call on the floor I’ve been over charge by placing a online order here he stated he didn’t know how to send it to another store and is very unprofessional I will never return unless morning crew is here he just walks around the store on his phone all day I wouldn’t recommend any go here if it’s not before 3:00pm oh yeah he is tall light sling black guy kinda heavy set

Dear Office Depot Management, please train and support your staff at this location. (5) employees on the floor this morning, (3) of which were working in the copy center, and none knew how to pull up orders or print them, and kept telling Customers (7 presently) to come back after 1:00 pm when someone else came in. One Customer is literally losing his last cool. The sign says Order online. Ready in 1 hour. Not today, (ordered 3 hours ago) not (3) times previously. This store requires a leader!

Worst customer service ever!!! I’ve been in there for 2 hrs trying to get a online pepper copied!! Not only that but another time when I waited for a text saying I’m next, I come to the front and see the employee having a full blown conversation with 2 customers, talking nothing about copies of papers!! Just completely ignore me standing there. So I left, and searched somewhere else I could go. I went to FedEx and was only in there 5 mins. Never going to Office Depot again!!

Newly renovated. Very nice and clean. Organized very well. Three people offered to help. I quickly found what I needed. This is my go to place for office supplies. You can order on line and they deliver to your office. Come on guys we need certain brick and mortar stores and this one and the one on Ann Street are both needed. Office Depot Vaughn Rd Montgomery. I purchased a keyboard two days ago. I tried to return it at this office depot and was told they had a modified return policy in effect until the end of the covid (which could be years at this point) and that I could not return any computer input product that they are being sold as is no return. I was shocked. The very sympathetic employees contacted the manager and still I could not return it. They posted a sign on the door which I practically had to put my nose to it to read. While I was standing there through this none of the customers purchasing computer products were told about this policy. I told started telling them and several put there products back. THANKFULLY I was able to return it at another office depot across town, which the manager there was very surprised when I told him and he said he never heard of such a thing.

Van at the Vaughn Road location was helpful and informative. He made multitasking seem effortless. I recommend everyone to go visit Van for all your computer needs and experience true professional customer service.

All I wanted to do was print off 1 piece of paper and once I signed in it says I have to wait 17 minutes. That is crazy. I do not recommend printing anything from this Home Depot

I came in to get copies of 6 different papers; very straight forward...nothing special. I was told to come back in 1.5 hours which I did. Not ready; the print manager told me they had been busy and hadn’t been able to get to it with the exception of a stack of copies from one of the originals. I was told to return in 30 minutes, so I ran an errand. The manager called me 15 minutes later to tell me my order was complete. However, when I arrived the copies were not bagged or boxed but laying in piles all over the counter. Several of the associates were having personal conversations and I became frustrated waiting for them to finish. I typically go to the UPS Store, but they were closed so I knew I could get them done at Office Depot. I can typically get 1000 copies for $77 at the UPS Store. This was over $70 for a total of 300 copies. The workers at UPS feel far more friendly and helpful. They will not get my copy business again.

Poor customer service.

The team was helpful with getting a large last minute order in and processed. Friendly and helpful folks. The downside was that the page numbers were cut off, which i didnt realize until i reviewed the report with my client.

Good place. They always have whatever it is that i am looking for. I have yet to be disappointed by Office Depot. They always got what i need or if not they have something better.

This is a nice store with friendly staff. They have a very good selection of office supplies and other items. In particular I like shopping here for office chairs, desks and furniture. I dont think they have as many book cases and other furniture as they used to, but they have plenty of desk chairs. The service has always been very good and efficient.

Needed help with printing....TreVonn (sp?) was excellent! Very quick, very friendly, very professional! He has been there since June. I hope he stays! He goes above and beyond!

Very nice store to pick up any kind of office supplies you need. Employees are always willing to help you and find what you need. Stores always clean. They have a large selection of everything such as pens pads paper and software and also Hardware such as printers shredders safes UPS backups.

Very odd location. You cant tell if the location is actually open for business. Also, they never seem to have what Im looking for. No one greets me upon coming in to the store or ask if I need help. However, when I approach them to ask questions they are pleasant and as helpful as they can be.

Print order was due at 7 p.m.. Its now 8:45 and Im still sitting here on the display furniture waiting. 3 stars bc this bonded leather swivel chair is fun for swiveling.

I was overcharged by more than $100 on copies. When I brought it to their attention, I was told it costs more. I came into the store rather than purchasing online because I wanted to see which paper type I preferred before ordering. I went ahead and spoke to the sales associate rather than completing it online, since I was already in the store. When I selected my paper and handed over my file, requesting 10 copies, I asked how much it was. I was told copies start at a certain price and my paper would make it more. Obviously, I knew a paper upgrade would make it more, but I was not certain what that was. I was never given a total. Then she started walking away so I had to call out that I needed it to be double sided and in color since I didnt realized we were through talking. I got a response of oh, you need it double sided? At this point I had no idea what I was going to end up with. I was then told to go walk around for 10 minutes. I expected to see one copy before printing all of them, but I wasnt given the opportunity. I suppose I should have asked for everything before giving them my file. I was then charged for twice the amount of pages in my paper upgrade rather than half even though it was double sided. My online quote was half the price of the in store one. Do not go to this store for copies. They do not care about ripping you off and will not fix it.

Ordered a product online for same-day in store pickup. I specifically checked that this store had what I was looking for in stock. After confirming, I received notification that my order would be ready for pickup in an hour. I decided to pick it up the following morning instead. I go to the store and stand in front of the Customer Service/ Online Pickup queue for 10 minutes while one of their employees is taking a personal call...right in front of me. I was rather shocked as this was a much older person and I would only expect this from a teenager. Patiently, I stand there and decide to check my email. At 6:14AM (15 hours after I placed my order), I had received an email stating that they could not fill the order as my item was not in stock. Angered by this and the rude employee, I start to walk out. It is then when the older employee motions for a young worker to catch and help me before I leave the store. Being greeted for the first time exiting into the parking lot, I declined their help and walked away.Rude, unprofessional, and lazy with their online stock representation, I will not be returning to this store.

This is the last time we use Office Depot to do printing. The staff was kind, but the quality of the prints were TERRIBLE!!! We were in a pinch and had to make some last minute business cards. We have used Staples in the past when we need last minute card and the quality was decent. However as we were staying in an area lacking a Staples we went with what was available, this Office Depot. The actual print was decent, good color and good clarity, but they looked they were cut by a pre-schooler, not two were cut the same size, the cutting blade was obviously dull because some cards still had trimmings attached.

We had a great experience today! Ryan helped us and even gave us an awesome discount! We will definitely go back!!!

The rep in the computer section knew his stuff. Too often the employees lack subject matter expertise so this was a welcome change. Separately I had to do a return later and it was easy and fast.

Beware getting books bound here. Although I did get my money back, they messed up both books I brought in to have bound. I brought them back and they fixed them to the best of their ability but not in a timely manner because they had to copy each page of the book (basically reprint it) to correct the issue.

Great experience, employees were very polite and extremely helpful.

Office Depot completely rearrange the inside of the store, its been awhile since Ive been inside and Im surprised to see the new layout, its much less like a warehouse and more like a department store.

I went to pick up flyers after receiving an email that they were ready to be picked up. I had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes for them to finish. I did say something to the supervisor. If you send an email out that something is ready, make sure it is actually ready, otherwise the email shouldnt be sent out.

Went to go get 2 pictures printed. Every one was nice. I was only suppose to be in there for no more than 5 mins. But it turned into almost half an hour! I had to be somewhere and they didnt even care. They socialize way to much to people who dont even need anything or yo a co worker about bs and they move sooooo slow. I will not be revisiting this certain location again. Youre at work not a social club!! Ugh
