Hubby wanted to eat something with a variety, and it definitely had a variety. He enjoyed the steak, where as I enjoyed the fish. Theyre a little slow about refilling the buffet, especially when a bus and two vans of church folk pull up. They have to work more efficiently.

You just have so much to choose from, thats why I live this place (the variety). This was the second time Ive been here at this same location and I really liked it every time I went. The food was fresh and good, and the second shift staff was very nice to me and my husband. The waitress seemed a little shocked that we tipped her. It actually had me wondering if we were suppose to tip. Either way, I feel like she really deserved it, because she was right on point with bringing our refills and anything else we may have needed to give us an overall good dining experience.

Wonderful food and incredible service. All of the food is incredibly well cooked and the whole place is very clean. Not only the food but also the desserts are great. My server was named Markea and she gave my family wonderful service.

This was the worst food I have ever eaten. It was cold. The bacon smelled rotten. Plates were dirty. Cups for juice were dirty. Horrible experience. I spent almost $20.00 for breakfast that we could NOT eat. Kitchen staff getting food and drinks where customers get theirs. Inappropriate. Unprofessional. Nasty.

Cost cutting measures by manager, made meat, especially steak limited, and not readily available. Only lower cost cheap items readily available. A bar value for high price paid.

The pot roast was cold, fries tasted like old fryer oil, the fried chicken tasted the same old oil in fryer. Employees drinking in food preparation area and on line. Employees where also cursing in food line area. Manager was back there with them when they where doing this. Servers walking around on there cell phones and people preparing food with no Hair nets or caps on.. the ear buds in there ears are great to look at. Would find some where else to eat at before I would eat at Golden Corral in Montgomery Alabama

The buffet had a nice variety of foods from which to choose and the service was friendly. The only reason they dont get 5 stars is due to accessibility issues. I use a walker and there was no where close to our table to conveniently place it. We moved it several times to accommodate neighboring tables before our server took it to the drink station, which left me to depend on others every time I had to get up. I had to inconvenience them twice each time due to them retrieving it when I got up and replacing it when I returned. It was a bit of a hassle, but it didnt ruin the day. Just something to be mindful of for future visits.

Big shout out to all the kind, helpful, wonderful folks at Golden Corral. Ed who was the cashier was so kind to my Mum who is wheelchair bound and just got out of the hospital. He told her she was a pretty princess. God bless him. Our server Anthony went above and beyond and was so kind to us. I told the manager who wss equally as friendly and caring what a wonderful restaurant he was running. I love, love, love this Golden Corral.

LIL BUD. .. always having to go to a sit down restaurant. But I couldnt agree more than what he said when picking. Why pay more for one plate of food when at Golden Carrol you pay less and can get as many plates of food as you want too. With no extra pay. And they have more food to pick from . And rolls ...

A nice place to go and eat if you really really love eating! Only suggestion I would have for them is to remove the carpet and just let it all be tile flooring to reduce the smell in the place and maybe restrooms on each end of the place for elderly people. Other than that everything is good!

I loved the Golden Corral..... Wont be going back to the one off of the BLVD in Montgomery..... But I always have a great experience at the the other location ..... Especially in Georgia

$$$ OMG... by the time I left a tip the meal cost $24 for just me. Food was tasty. Enjoyed the roast and fried shrimp. Steak tasted like the gas from the grill. Rolls were delicious. Had a great waitress that actually seemed to care.

Montgomery location... We got a refund for our food. This place deserves a 0. A dead fly was on one of our salads. The rolls which are usually hot fresh and buttery were cold. We wont be returning....

Food was hot and fresh. The waitress for our large senior citizen group was friendly and helpful. I am not a big eater at lunch time but there are lots of options if you are hungry.

There is great variety of different food that taste good. The service is great and everyone is very polite. Only negative thing is that the food was not as hot as I would prefer. I still recommend the place.

Our family stopped here while traveling. The food tasted very good but was extremely limited. The food wasnt being replenished and was often cold. The selection was basic and mislabeled. The whole restaurant needs a good, deep cleaning. Our waitress, Dawn, was friendly and attentive.

Even though this company has several locations around, the care for food MADE FROM SCRATCH is quaranteed and always generous and delicious. It is a comfort zone for real southern cooking. The staff is so caring and helpful. This restaurant is a family favorite

Stopped through here while traveling and had the friendliest waiter ever and the rest of the staff was so helpful too! My kids were all able to eat their favorite foods, and the southern fare was very tasty. Keep up the marvelous work, and thank you for a great experience.

Two words to describe this place: tour buses. Im guessing they have a deal with Trailways and Greyhound because every time we have tried to eat here there has been a line out the door and a tour bus in the parking lot. Waiting to pay to get in is slow, hot and crowded. I have never been a big fan of paying before a meal. No matter how good the food is the cashiers having to deal with huge crowds and collecting money before the meal just make the restaurant feel low class. The food has been good when we have managed to get in, but there are much more relaxing places.

Good value for the money. Some dishes are super salty though. Best to try a small portion if you are sensitive.

Very good food. Very filling, our waitress Katrina was very excellent, she was fast, always on top of things, brought us fresh rolls when we asked if they had any, she was super nice and friendly. 10/10 would eat again.

The food was good and there was alot of options to choose from but nothing stood out as something I had to have. This is the Golden Corral so for the money you get what you pay for. I did not like the under age children helping themselves to the food & deserts without some type of guidance from a Parent or a Golden Coral employee.

Mediocre food with pretty much everything running out.Tip. Save your $17.50 and go to an actual steak house. Way too expensive for the nightmare.EDIT: In response to the owner, absolutely! Heres what you do. Lower the price. Because the standard is so low there from the moment you walk in to the door to the moment you walk out, $17.50 is unreasonable. Better restaurants all over the area.

Pretty good, my son loves to fix a plate to go. Only problem, not enough green veggies to choose from. Went at 10:30 am so maybe I was too early.

Tonight was not a great experience. There was no meat ready at any station and there were very few side dishes prepared. The salad bar didnt even have meat available. Our sever, Nathaniel was very nice and attentive but the food was not great. A kid played in the chocolate fountain and put chocolate all over all the strawberries so I didnt even get any dessert. Very unhappy with this visit!

Golden Corral it s a very good place to eat.....to bring your whole family..or when you are super hungry😁. Today I stopped at the Montgomery AL . Location....the service was triple AAA. Food taste super good and Nathaniel service was excellent.I highly recommend this place

Awesome! Hot fresh food, cooked in small portions to keep it fresh. Our waiters tag had Atwater, he said they spelled it wrong. He was superb. Drinks stayed full, fresh hot rolls, and kept our table clean.

This rating was 6 years ago in Florida. Now live in Arkansas and the Golden corral here always has an excellent selection of very tasty food.

Good variety of food, mostly fresh and seasoned. Salad bar left a lot to be desired. The cauliflower was brown. Tomatoes were spoiled.Serving utensils were sticky and needed to be replaced regular at the very least wiped off.The server for our table was very attentive about keeping the table clean.

The buffet wasnt as well stocked as what weve come to expect with the chain and wasnt kept as fresh. The restaurant was in need of a deep cleaning. The staff we came into contact with were all very friendly but seemed overworked from lack of staffing.

Dined here with family and enjoyed it. Their chefs know how to perfectly cook steaks and pork chops on the grill. Ive dined her for breakfast and dinner and both have been enjoyable experiences.

I was supposed to hold the Christmas gift exchange and eating for my family at another place ( dont want to even say the name) but at short notice they pretty much dropped the ball. I call Golden Corral and spoke with Caleb and explain my situation. He said not a problem I got you just not a dance floor (Lol). Its was least 40 or more of us (not to forget short notice LIKE DAY BEFORE) and they handle everything. I saved money and didnt have to worry about no one saying what they didnt eat or didnt get enough this or that. So whenever its my time to do any gathering, get ready Caleb. And work on getting that dance floor for me. Lol

The food was not worth the $28.00 we paid.The food did not look appealing because half of the trays were half empty or empty and just sitting on the line.The trays were not being rotated out like they should have been.For instance, the Mac and cheese was out. Asked if they had any more and they said,yes.It took almost 20 minutes before anymore got on the line.Thats entirely too long to wait on an item that shouldnt run out from the start.Thats because nobody was paying attention to the line and quite apparently did not care about what it looked like.Most of the food was only luke warm or cold.The salad bar looked totally disgusting.Very little lettuce in the bowls and some of the add on items had not been replenished.The person cooking the steaks took entirely too long to cook something as simple as a steak.It doesnt take 30 minutes to cook a steak.I dont know if he knows it or not, but any meat that is cooked on any grill must ALWAYS stay moist.That comes from mopping the meat with a liquid as it is cooking.In turn the meat was tough.He also should work on his attitude.People pay their hard earned money to come eat around pleasant acting servers and not people who are mad because they have to cook a steak for a person who wants it a certain way.Last,but probably not least!!The servers have TOO MANY personal conversations across the restaurant while customers are trying to eat.If theyre going to talk to each other, it shouldnt be to the point of disturbing the customers.Complaining about what is going on in the work place, for instance, is non of my concern.This place has really gone down.Nothing like it used to be.I used to really enjoy bringing my family and friends here to enjoy a good meal and conversations.I was extremely disappointed and disgusted in how things have changed.This place needs a major overhaul.I really dont think Ill be returning any time soon.

At least I didnt get food poisoning. Actually the food was fine. My biggest grip deals with the patrons and the small dining sitting area. Golden Corral doesnt necessarily attract the cleanest, most outstanding citizens of our country. Youll be sharing the small cramped dining area with people wearing what can only be described as swimming outfits. Women of various body proportions revealing more of their body than I certainly cared to behold. Loud obnoxious men carrying on conversations of questionable taste for people attempting to have a meal. Rude folks in general that will congregate around your table while you are seated and make conversation with aquanentices. Think about it as visiting in a high school cafeteria only the kids have all grown up and accepted government assistance. Thats dining at this Gold Corral.

This was my husbands favorite restaurant in Montgomery. So many choices! He loved the Bourbon chicken while the roast beef in gravy and sauteed squash are my go-tos. Service is hit and miss...but the food quality cant be beat!

Lots of good food to be had, with a lot to choose from. Sometimes its hard to get refills on drinks, if it were only on busy night I could understand this, but it happens on slower nights as well. The only reason I score it so high is because the food is really good and sometimes you get excellent service.

We couldnt have Thanksgiving on the right day so we went this last weekend for brunch. Wonderful people, honored an out of date coupon and was able to take my 3 kids and husband for only 27.00!!! Food was very well prepared, and staff was very nice and welcoming. Id go back any time!!!

Food was ok and the place was clean, but its a bit over priced for what your actually getting. This was my first visit to Golden Corral so I didnt have anything to really compare it to but the staff at the Montgomery, AL was HORRIBLE.

Food was good but service was awful. Waited in line forever with a line of people out the door. One person on registrar but seemed totally confused. Other employees standing around behind her doing nothing but talking. Other persons in line angry at the wait. One girl finally said they were at capacity but the were many tables open. Also there was no timely fashion to clear the tables to seat others. People still waiting. Refill had to be asked for and only brought one of us a refill. Ran out of plates and silverware and employee cooking steaks either ignored you or had bad attitude. Not sure if Ill return.

Not the best golden corral I have been to. The service was awful and most of the food was dried out. The rolls I always enjoy were not available here due to the bread machine being broken for a week. Wont be back.

This 1 in Montgomery Alabama was dirty, slow to refill empty items, salad bar unkempt, bare, hot bars food quality not good, choices were not best, restaurant dirty, bathroom nasty, cashiers unpleasant an rude the only thing good was our server Shannon she smiled an was extremely pleasant very attentive an way over worked. The $16 per person price was RIDICULOUS AND THEY CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $3 FOR THE DRINK. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT.

Went there with all hopes of eating some steak. I asked the fella cooking if he had some medium rare. He had a hateful attitude about it. Then he gave me a steak that was very small. I tried it. It was not good at all. It was very cold. Had to be sitting out for quite a while. It was so dried out that it was like eating jerky. I didn’t even ask for a refund. I just left and came to Longhorn Steakhouse. I could’ve dealt with it better if the fella didn’t have a bad attitude going on. I was afraid it would’ve pissed him off to ask for a different one. May try again some other time. I have never had a cold dried out steak served to me ever.

Ate here this evening and wont be coming back. I used to love eating at Golden Corral but not any more.Watched a worker take each container of soup,which looked as though they had been sitting quite a while, and dump them in clean containers. They didnt look any better.The container of butter looked awful and the spoon in it looked just as bad.The BBQ chicken was good, the bourbon street chicken was cold and looked like it had been there quite a while.I travel a lot and have found that every Golden Corral seems to have the same issues. Very disappointing!

The food was really good. I had to run down someone to serve the hard ice cream. If there is no one available to serve, they need to turn the container that holds the ice cream around so that people can get it themselves.

Ive ate at other golden Corral without issue, and have generally enjoyed my visit. This one was probably having a very very bad day maybe it was a large influx of people that they cant handle I dont know but my meal was very very disappointing. At $14 a plate I expected hot food to be hot cold food to be cold neither was the case this trip. It took five or so minutes after we had our food and seated to get a server to bring us cutlery it was the same issue later when asking for a steak knife. A trip to the restroom almost involved a pair boots after one of the urinals had been overflowing for quite some time.

I would have given this one star but the Sunday breakfast buffet saved them! Horrible atmosphere like a high school cafeteria, over crowded and lousy food. The breakfast buffet was the best and the service was very good and friendly on Sunday breakfast buffet.

Always good food but our section was freezing so of course the food got cold not long after sitting it down. Our waiter was awesome if it wasnt for the horrible freezing section and the horrible staff at the register they would have got five stars.

Dont come here!We absolutely hated it. The ONLY reason we went was because we had about 15 guests in town and wanted everyone to have a choice of dinner but still be together in one place. This was a mistake.Instantly when you walk in, you smell dirty carpet. Then the people were sneezing, touching the tongs, coughing, etc. On top of that, the waitress we had was a hot mess with a bad attitude. I never understood how someone can work in customer service and not like customers or service.Anyhow, never again.

The manager, Steve, was a ball of uselessness. He had an attitude when I informed him that my waiter was overwhelmed and must need help because I never got a refill on my sweet tea. Food was great, but most of the staff was not cohesive; they didnt work together. I saw several of the wait staff WATCHING my waiter struggling to keep up with his tables. Maybe its just the Tuesday night crew......

Kind of a lackluster golden corral compared to others. Instead of grabbing your own silverware and drinks, you have to be served them. I find that to be inconvenient when compared to other locations. Though, the waitress we got was very friendly and polite. The chocolate fountain was replaced with a small pan containing the melted fondue. The whole seafood section is nonexistent here and the only seafood I remembered finding was popcorn shrimp. The whole place was carpeted, so the whole establishment smelled like dirty carpet. Overall, great place to go to fill yourself up with cheap food and feel nauseous afterwards.

Why is this considered an acceptable eating establishment? My God, with all the choices given youd think they could serve at least one item that the human body was capable of benefiting from. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It is a buffet. People were nice. Food hot. Check for days of week and times of day to get best prices. It canake a big difference.

It was super crowded but Im sure it was because it was Sunday. They stayed running out of food. There was big crowds star ding around waiting on the food and the food was gone as quick as try hey can get it out. They should have more folks on schedule on the weekends.
