I love this place! I have a membership and Ive been going here for at least a year now - maybe 2. I go every month and there is a discount with the membership. I love it and I get a discount on products as well (I LOVE, LOVE LOVE, the sugar scrubs that they sell. Theyre pricy, but the quality of the brand they sell is so much better than anything Ive purchased at like a Marshalls or Ulta.) And Michelle is the best. She consistently does an outstanding job and I always feel comfortable. The woman at the front is always kind, and professional in person and on the phone. Highly recommend.

I want to love this place because it’s in a great location, clean, and the staff/owners are very nice. However I’ve given it THREE tries now and every time there is so much hair left after the wax. It’s annoying to pay $70+ and still have to get rid of the remaining hair when you get home. I’m still struggling to find a good waxing place since I moved to the area.Update: I have no one to blame but myself at this point, but I returned to this location after being disappointed so many times before. My previous comment still stands - the people there are very pleasant but OH MY GOD I got the worst wax of my life. When I got home to brush off what I thought was remaining waxed hair, there was so much left behind it truly did not look like I had gotten waxed. I’m not a fan of EWC either, but I’ll be headed there tomorrow to get this fixed and spend even more money. Please avoid.

Employees are always pleasant. Alyssa always takes her time and pays attention to every detail. Shes gentle and very informative.

I looooooooove this place. They are so patient, professional and meticulous. When I say I got a “Brazilian Wax”, I mean they make sure you are COMPLETELY waxed. There is nothing I hate more than getting a Brazilian, then going home to see I still have to pluck or shave the stragglers. They take care of stubborn ingrown’s and have a wonderful add on service called a “Vanicure” where they clean, exfoliate and hydrate your lady friend. I use to frequent the “European” spot but Waxing the City is my new go to. If you’re as serious about your Brazilian as I am, check them out. I went to the Montclair location.

I came a few days before my birthday they took me right in. Cool atmosphere setting. Everyone there is very nice . its very relaxing and welcoming . I got Danielle for my bikini wax,she took her time with me she was very gentle and made sure I was very comfortable.this is my first wax ever and it was really great. I will be coming back again .

Let me start off by saying I love love love Debbie G. I been to a couple of different wax centers and this by far my favorite. Soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a big smile. The place super clean. I’m on the plus size and the table are a comfortable size. Debbie is so down to earth, easy to talk to. We laughing, telling stories. She makes you really comfortable. As you know getting waxed and be a little uncomfortable at times. This my new favorite place and I tell everyone I know about the place. I never ever wrote a review before lol I felt like I needed too ❤️

I had a wonderful experience here. Let me begin by saying the facility is GORGEOUS. When you walk in its very clean, welcoming, and pleasing to the eyes. I was greeted and assisted promtly by Michelle whom is amazing! She asked if this was my first time (yes, it was) and guided me through the procedure. She talked to me and put me at ease. Honestly, she made me less nervous. If your nervous, just get it done and ask for Michelle. Trust me you wont be disappointed.

Had my waxing done by Debbie and she was amazing. Really down to earth and super efficient. I definitely do plan on seeing her again. She made me feel very comfortable and was very precise. Thanks Debbie!!

This was THE single BEST waxing experience that Ive ever had. The wax was awesome and Deborah was great. She took her time, didnt destroy my skin by going over the same section repeatedly, and used manageable sections. Id avoided waxes for a full year prior to this, but you can be certain that I will return!

Everyone is perfectly kind and professional from the moment you walk in the door. I was greeted by name when I arrived, offered bottled water, and only waited a few minutes (because I arrived really early anyway) before my appointment. Everything is super clean and the cerologist makes you feel comfortable. This is the 2nd time Ive been (first with Michelle, and this time with Debbie G...both fantastic) and I will definitely return.

The prices are shocking. There are plenty of decent places nearby - in Montclair, Nutley and Bloomfield - that charge half the price for hot wax services. They do try to pay attention to detail though; except when it comes to eyebrows. I will never use this place again for my eyebrows. They were shortened simply because the waxer made a mistake on one so had to balance it out on the other.The reply below from the owner is cringe-worthy: Pick me, pick me, look at all my 650+ reviews, I must be amazing. I got there fill out paperwork and after 1/2 hour I ask like ok so like I’m here waiting, ohhhh I’m sorry we got a mistake I’m soooo sorry we won’t be able to fit you in. That’s why I’m saying just go here if you want waste time. Called European Wax not even 15 min wait and done.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at the Montclair location. It was very professional, welcoming, from the time I arrived to when I left. Bethany was amazing, provided tips and tricks, was well informed and I saw a difference because of her knowledge. I visited 2 other locations closer to me (because I live between a Princeton location and a northeast Philly location) the experiences with booking at Princeton was terrible, and I wasnt completely satisfied by the northeast Philly location...needless to say I have an upcoming appointment with the Montclair location and the service and outcome is worth the drive.
