Overall it was a very welcoming experience. I personally had my bad luck of being put out if a home with two minor kids and all I was told is that I didnt qualify for immediate housing but to look into several shelters that may have openings. I was completely floored bc in two days I would be homeless with an 13 year old and an 8 year old with absolutely no resources. I called back like I was instructed to let them known if I was still homeless the following Monday and going on 3 weeks later Im still without a home separated from my kids so they wont be homeless and no call back from the place.
