The service I received at this local store far supersedes any that I would have gotten at a box store. Recently, I purchased a Seagull S6 from Holloways and the experience was great. In fact, it was so good that Im writing this review and will go there for any needs I have in the future. I was looking for a very specific guitar at a very specific price point. I came away with the guitar at a better price than I expected and personal instruction on how to take care of the instrument. Best customer service for your musical needs or wants. Huge inventory. Very reputable, been around since before I was born so thats saying a lot! Love them like family!

It has been a positive experience dealing with Holloways Music Center. I had been out of music a long time, but its nice to walk in and not be made to think that I need to be 18 to be relevant in music. They are nice folks who take the time to explain or look up what one wants to know. They are not a huge store, and so not everything is in stock, but that is the price of having not only a local store, but one in which a family can go. They have generally met the prices of the super-sized stores and in one case it was worth to spend an extra few bucks to not drive the distance to get a salesperson who really cant relate to jazz, show tunes, or questions. Another nice feature of the store, when you go in you meet the same people every time and they remember you. They are also willing to spend time with you to demonstrate, discuss, or listen to what one has to say. They also back up their products. Thus far, in a years worth of experience, I have nothing negative to say. Thats worth something.

They are kind of closed. If the gate is open, they are open. Selling off stock and mostly focusing on installations for churches and such. A staple in Monroe for years. The kind of place you walk into and get sensory overload because of so much crammed in.

Said they were liquidating for closing. Any item.i asked about that was marked down to go was still more than any other store.(Guitar Center. Sam Ash. Amazon) If i asked about pricing they would give me an attitude. One guy with longer hair literally yelled at me because I said these liquidation prices were still higher than anyone else and he told to me leave and go somewhere else. I used to lovvvve going here even though I knew I was ALWAYS paying more to support the locals but not like that. Im not gonna get ripped off and yelled at. GOOD RIDDONS

If u like music, just walk thru the door . And every person there can really give u alot of helpful advice...
