This was the worst experience I have ever had with African hair braiding. You charged me $140 and my daughter hair was awful. Looks nothing like the picture provided the braids are all different sizes and you could not explain why. Lets not forget the shop is nasty you have to fight through junk to get to the restroom and to look at it and say no Ill just hold it. Do not waste your money on this place because her work will piss you off.

This review is to save you from disappointment! I went here to have my daughter hair braided in box braids, bob style. I showed the last a pic and repeatedly told her how I wanted it styled. And burn the ends. Well, the end result was horrific! The braids were messy and uneven! And Its was not bob styled like I asked. And the hair was falling out days later! Since I paid $160 and my daughter had a week of school left I had to go behind them and cut it myself and try to burn the ends because the hair they used was bad quality! Every time I look at her hair I feel disgusted and angry 😤So, as for this salon I will not return!

Today I got my hair braided at Marsyl Hair Braiding. The ladies the braided my hair was very professional and considerate. I will be returning in 2 weeks for my touch up.Thanks ladies

Paid $220 for faux locs that started sliding in 2 weeks. My 1 year old pulled one and it slid out so easily. My hair was sooooo tight I couldnt hold my head up straight for almost a week. The hair wasnt braided underneath for it to hold instead they used this nappy curly hair that looked absolutely horrible at the ends after they were dipped. The ends look like the hair that falls on the floor and sweep into a hair ball. I have huge parts with skinny locs and theyre not even at all, imagine how that looks! Theyre all different lengths and look horrible hanging down and worse of all they do not understand a word youre saying to them, not even a little!! The only reason I still have mine is because the time I wasted there and the price I paid. I regret going there every time I look in the mirror! The only good thing Ive gotten out of this is when Im ready to take them out it will literally take 5 minutes because they slide out so easily. Please do not waste your hard earned coins with these people, that is unless you just have money to blow.

Not consistent. You never know if you are going to get a good braids or messy braids.
