The staff is great there five stars for the staff

Called Michigan Works! the person I spoke with seemed more interested in simply getting off the phone with me rather than assist me. I could hear her speaking with another operator as I tried to explain my work situation and my goals for employment. I suppose they dont have a mute button on their phone? Operator was disinterested or lacked focus helping client. She consistently would talk over me rather than allow me to speak over the phone. Her expert advice for finding a new career was to reference the bureau of labor statistics. Another ineffective bureaucratic agency eating away tax dollars.

The workers there was very helpful and nice, the only issue was phone ordeal you have to do i was on phone for an hour and the computer stuff was 45 min or so but the staff helped me threw process, they was very helpful and made the experience nice and calm!

Absolutely horrible service. Worker helps you for 5 minutes then leaves for 30 minutes an then has another worker help you instead of the original worker. 2nd worker doesn’t know what’s going on or what to do because the 1st worker helped me thru it so now we’re both stuck. Instead of getting the 1st worker they send a 3rd person to help that has absolutely no clue of what’s going on. After 2 hours an not getting help from first worker I just ended my session an decided I can’t fix it. Not to mention this is my 6th time up here for the same reason and none of these workers can figure it out. Horrible experience will never file for unemployment again because of them.

Michigan Works was great @ helping me obtain my GED, They let me study for & was very helpful by paying for me to take my GED TEST, if it wasnt for all the help they provided I probably would never have taken let alone pass the 5 tests to pass th like I did. Thank you so much To all the staff there @ Michigan Works in Monroe, Michigan. I will always recommend your services for the rest of my life.😂

I need help and I’ve been trying for over two weeks sending messages and trying to get money and it’s impossible. I’m out of work for COVID 19 just like everybody else please help

Horrible there. Tried taking a test but couldn’t concentrate. The employees stand around blabbering and laughing instead of working and being considerate of others.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient - made setting up an account and filing a claim quick, respect, and easy.

Helpful and full of information on how to get a job. Even helped me get work clothes.

Sometimes its hard to sign in when youve forgotten your password or it says email not found, Michigan works should automatically send reminders to update email addresses with passwords, so clients do not have to come in to do that, they should do that over the internet which would make it easier for their clients to log in and do what they need to do....
