I have done most of the work on my 2nd Gen Dodge for the past 20 years, as I trusted no one else. Virtually ever time time I brought my truck elsewhere, I was disappointed or worse … until I found this great place! Brandon, the service manager, is the face of the company, with great mechanics backing him up. They have always provided good estimates and done the job right, while protecting my exceptionally clean RAM 2500 diesel. They have gained a customer so dedicated, I recently paid a $1700 towing fee just to ensure they were the shop to replace my original clutch (@ 212k miles!) I recommend this awesome team to anyone needing quality automotive work!

Nice guys, seem knowledgable. Had them install after market transmission plan and no one told me I needed to return to get the bolts tightened 50-100mile afterwards. Another shop found the transmission leak 15 months later. Thankfully no damage seemed to be done, but cant give 5 stars for this.

If you like eye catching, obnoxiously loud, high output performance diesels this is your shop. Im sure you can get some basic repairs done here to no problem, but I mean they can do anything... My experience working with Mark, and his wife Laynee, the passion for Diesel and high performance was clear as day. What was even more clear to me was that this shop executes and completes work with precision, integrity, and reliability at all costs from start to finish. They operate with customer safety and satisfaction at the forefront of their priorities like each vehicle was one of their own. These are the type of mechanic shops that are worth traveling a good bit for. Anyone would be lucky to have professionals that care and deliver at the level that they do... highly recommended.

If it was possible to add more stars here I would. I have a modified 1986 Land Cruiser FJ60 with a Cummins 4BTA Diesel in it and I honestly dont know if I would have kept it if I had not found these guys. I can say for sure that if I had come to this shop a year ago I would have $4-5K in my pocket right now that I instead threw down the drain with guys who really didnt know what they were doing.The original diesel swap was done poorly by a previous owner and much of the original fabrication needed to be re-worked, plus the engine had really never been serviced by a mechanic who knew what the hell they were doing and how to get the most out of the platform. For all the Land Cruiser specific stuff I have always used Torfab in Everett...but they great and know Crusers like no one else but are booked out two months and dont really mess with American diesel engines.I found Mark and Specialized on google and brought the truck in with a blown turbo. Not only did he fix that but he also made several huge modifrications to the engine to get me a lot more horse power and torque. He completely rebuilt the intercooler ducting to remove the ridiculous number of boots and 90 degree angles massively increasing the volume of air to the turbo, replaced all the hoses and lines, moved the AC mounting bracket so I will stop shredding S-belts, got about 30% more out of the throttle, fabricated an improved clutch mount, heated and bent the pedals to provide a better spread when I wear my fly fishing wading boots, rebuilt the rear diff, replaced the rear bearings, axles and seals plus the rear drums, cylinders, shoes. Honestly, thats only about half of what he has done, basically he has rebuilt a good portion of the truck for me and has done it literally over night in some cases staying well into the night to make sure I had my truck back before heading out on two different big weekend trips.If you have a Cummins or a vehicle with a Cummins conversion and you go anywhere else...then youre and idiot. Mark knows these engines inside and out and his ability to think on his feet, modify and improve your rig with minimal additional cost is impressive to say the least. This guys is an artist..and unlike most artists hes thorough and wont skip over anything or feed you any B.S. Very happy I found this shop.

Needed a banjo bolt for a 12 valve Cummins No one in Monroe could deliver, including the Dodge dealer, but the tech at Specialized Diesel had a spare in his tool box. He even tried to give it to me for free. Seem like good, knowledgeable people with some cool projects going on.

Specialized Diesel and Conversions is the shop to go to in Western Washington if you have a diesel truck. Ive been taking my diesel trucks to them for years beginning when they were originally Sno Valley Diesel and they know what they are doing. They take pride in their work and dont cut corners. Not only do they offer great customer service but they are diesel enthusiasts themselves and treat you and your truck as if youre one of their own. If you want a professional job, you can rest easy handing these keys over to these guys. They know what theyre doing and I recommend them highly.

Our 6.0 Ford died on Friday night climbing up to Stevens pass. I had my wife two kids dog and cat with us as we embarked on an 18 day travel trailer trip, this happened on day three! The tow driver recommended Steve at this shop and I am so happy they did. He got us on our way in record time and the cost was completely reasonable for what was required. Mark and the team at Specialized Diesel Conversions (SDC) is amazing. After searching around the Northwest and doing some research for approximately one year, I went with SDC. They only work on Chevy/Dodge/Ford diesels (the other shops work on gas and diesel, car and truck) and they arent pushy (other shops made it very clear that I was just a job and not an actual person/enthusiast). I worked with Mark for about 3 months, multiple phone calls and emails, before the build list was finalized. Mark even provided some input with rearguards to what they have seen work in the past what they have seen fail, he didnt try and sell me on the most expensive, but rather the best item/items that meet my want/needs. This led to me being able to put more mods on my truck than I expected because he made sure that every penny I spent was used efficiently. They took my truck in around the beginning of December and I got it back on the 30th of December, Merry Christmas :). SO all in all they had the truck for 25 days. Keep in mind my build list was very extensive, it was during the holiday season, bad weather on the east coast so the shipping of parts was delayed and dont forget theses guys have families too. With all of that said they kept me in the loop with emails and pictures.If you are considering doing ANY mod to you diesel I would very seriously consider Mark and his team. Realize that they are extremely busy, I had to schedule my build 1-1/2 months in advance.However, I highly recommend SDC to anyone with diesel pickup and I will be going back to them in the future when I am ready for the next job.

The owner Mark Adams is great to deal with. I have a tuned Cummins diesel truck, and Specialized Diesel installed a new BD Diesel transmission. The extra heavy duty one. 🥰 After approximately one year of using it, it is working great. I needed some head studs too, a couple months later - and Mark basically had the only 625 set in existance (horrible delayed mfg backorder). He sold them to me for msrp so I could conplete my engine rebuild!! At another shop I might add!! Stand up dude!! Do business here, you wont be disappointed.
