Subaru dealer told me my transmission had to be replaced at 109,000 miles. They quoted me $8,000 for a new transmission!!My boyfriend called Apex and spoke with Scott at the Monroe store. Scott totally came through for me! He tracked me down a used transmission the same day I called. It was shipped and installed a week later at a third of the price.I can’t even tell you how nice it is to deal with a local, honest and affordable company. I highly recommend them.

Working with David and Robb was a great experience. David is a very considerate service writer and is very informative about the process. He will not try to price gouge or sell you services that he doesnt believe you actually need. Any service that I cant do to my vehicles myself I will most definitely be taking to Apex Auto, especially as long as David and Robb are there.

I took my 2004 GMC Canyon in to APEX AUTO for an oil change and to have the thermostat replaced, it was stuck open. I also had them drain and flush the radiator.I was pleased that the work was done on schedule with no problems at all. David was very accommodating and even took me home and also came to pick me up when the work was done.I do fully recommend APEX AUTO. The price was reasonable, was done on time as promised, and they have a great warranty. Very knowledgeable, and great customer service.I will be taking my vehicle there for any work, you should too. You won’t be disappointed.

David and his team are awesome! I had my car worked on here for the first time since I just moved to Monroe, and hands down this is the best auto place I have ever been too. Not only was the customer service beyond exceptional they were honest, caring, and patient when explaining the problems to me. I have never experienced such great car service before my entire life until apex auto. Which urged me to write a great review since I never do. I use to go to firestone and the customer service there was horrible. I cant believe I never found apex auto before. I will be a forever customer at apex auto and I will recommend anyone to come here, I’m beyond happy with my service here. The prices are great compared to anywhere else too. Thanks Apex Auto!!!!!!

I needed a battery and they found the alternator was not working well. They checked out the car thoroughly as well as replaced my items needed - even dropped me back home and then picked me up when the work was done. So helpful and done in a timely manner. Great care I can depend on.

I just went in today to get an appointment to drain and flush my brake fluid and have the tires rotated on my Hyundai Elantra. They told me that they could do the work right now. I was happy and ask them if they could take me and my wife to Fred Meyer while they were doing the work, they said no problem and then picked us up about an hour later. We are very appreciative of the fast and professional service. I recommend this place for all your repair services and the best prices in town.

We brought our F-150 in to them on Monday morning, they assured us that they would get it diagnosed and fixed as soon as possible as the shop was quite busy. Wednesday morning they called with a diagnosis, a very fair price to get the work done and a timeline to get the work done. One of the suppliers sent a wrong part(mistakes happen). They called with an update and promised they would do what they could to get it done by the end of the day. David ended up working late to get the project done and our truck back into our hands as he had promised. Thanks again for all your hard work and dedication, We will recommend and use them again in the future!

Just like to take a moment to echo some of the other reviews found here. I have worked with several different shops in the past as I travel frequently and own a variety of vehicles. Recently had my truck serviced here in Monroe. I believe the gentleman I worked with was named Brett and he could not have been more helpful, punctual, informative, and personable. From dropping my truck off to picking it up was by far the best experience I have ever had with a repair shop. Look forward to doing business here. Thank you.

After only having use of my “new” Mazda minivan for about 2 of the 5 weeks I had owned it & the original mechanic unable to find & fix the problem, my van was towed to Apex Automotive in Monroe, where DAVID CURTISS, Store Manager, did another complete diagnostic & found that I needed a new or rebuilt engine & it was going to take about 8 days to get the engine & install it. I told him I HAD to have my car back within the 8 days because I was going out of town for a commitment made 2 months earlier. DAVID & his crew made every effort to see to it that I would be able to keep my commitment, but when the engine was late getting to him, he authorized a rental car for me for the week I had to be gone. In my book, he went well above & beyond his responsibilities to help me, & I will definitely recommend Apex Automotive to anybody asking if I know of a good mechanic!!!

Took my Honda in to have a few things fixed in November of 2018. All of the work was done perfectly but about a year after the thermostat gasket was leaking. This was a part defect, NOT a workmanship defect. I called Apex, explained the situation and they said to bring the truck in (they offered to look at it that night but I brought it in the next morning due to work) for them to look at for free. I brought the truck in the next morning and it was looked at and fixed completely for free within a few hours due to the part defect. They were extremely professional and made it painless on my end to get fixed, even offering to drive me to and from their shop since I work in Monroe. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle here and trusting Apex with it!

We have been using Apex/ Averys for 3 years, as a small business, we have wanted to support other small businesses and be a long term loyal customer and in the past have told our friends and families only the positive experiences we have had and even wrote a positive review in the beginning. Now the time has past and we have had several personal vehicles services and all our business fleet vehicles services we are now apprehensive and are undecided if we want to continue bring our vehicles in. Here are some of the reasons why, 1st. We bought a used vehicle after paying for Apex to to go through a though inspections. We paid the several thousand Dolors to have the work done, Shortly after the stabilizer traction control light turns on, when inquiring, they mentioned this is not a big deal so know I live with this issue warning light turning on and this functions not working. who know, maybe this was undetectable and was not there fault so I cannot be upset because we all know anything can go wrong at any time with a used vehical, what did bother me was that, I noticed the e- brakes did not work, they did not bring this up in the report but who cares, it was not a deal breaker when buying the car, so I asked if I could pay to have the e- brake tightened while the back break was being done since logically it would be easier to do with the back tire, breakers and calipers already off in hopes I could get it done cheaper, ands they said of course! we wont even charger you, I thought great customer service but said I am still happy to pay for the the extra time. As a result I get the car back and come to find out the E-brake was never handles or charged, now I have to come back a pay full price to have the back tires, brakes and calipers pulled off to get to the E-brakes. 2nd, Every oil change we bring in our fleet vehicles and ask for an oil change, fluids toped and tires rotated, sometimes I get the vehicle back with the fluids toped and tires rotes and sometime I get them back and the fluids not topped off and tires not rotated. they only charge me $10 to rotate tires and I thought that was a deal and even offered to pay more, perhaps they are not charging enough and that is why they keep forgetting to rotate my tires. My last visit I was told it is not necessary to have tires rotes every 5k which is good to hear I just wished that was communicated earlier so I would not be left wondering if they were done. 3rd, Every time I try to establish a relationship with the manager at the front desk, he is replaced with a new one, and the new manager does not know what is going on with our vehicles because the last manager did not have adequate notes. 4th, My last oil change went from around $70 to $110 with out any prior notice, and this did not include tire rotation as I had requested, I havent had time to look under the hood to see if the fluids were topped off yet. when inquiring the reason for big jump the manager said it was because it was a synthetic blend, I replied and said I have always had the synthetic blend so why the difference? he avoided the questions and starting talking about something else., this happened 3 times with no answer, the new manager seem allusive. Perhaps I have always under paid, Honest I never price shopped, I just wanted someone I could trust and the priced seemed reasonable. To his defense he did help me over the phone by doing some research on a problem on one of our fleet vehicles the week prior, I offered to pay and he said NO, just give me a good review. Looking in hindsight he probably charged extra to make up for his time helping me the week prior- who know. The bottom line is Apex is probably not out to screw there customers, I just wish there was better communication and were consistent so I can could have a better peace of mind.

I took my 03 Ford Ranger to Apex auto after getting quotes from 3 other mechanics in Monroe. Their price was a little higher than the others but they were able to get it in the shop right away, with the assurance it would be done the following day.David called me and let me know he recommended replacing a little more than expected. I double checked his recommendations and gave him the go ahead to do so.They ran into a few issues getting everything back together and ended up taking a little longer than expected and let me know they would have the vehicle over the weekend and would finish it up the following Monday.David went out of his way to make sure I had a car rental for the weekend and for that Monday at no cost to me. He even offered to drive me to Seattle if the Monroe Hertz location didn’t have a vehicle available. They put more labor hours into the vehicle than they had estimated and ended up replacing a part that wasn’t expected but didn’t charge me for it. I could tell David is a very honest guy and stuck to his quote.I would definitely recommend Apex Auto. Its hard to find trustworthy mechanics and Monroe is lucky to have one in Apex.I just wanted to add an update. I went into Apex auto today because my Ranger started leaking an unsettling amount of oil. I called in advance and talked to a Kyle Johnson. He was very polite and let me know that they would take a look at it and to just bring it in anytime during the week. I showed up two days later and he remembered our phone conversation right away. They had my truck in the air in a matter of minutes. To my surprise the oil filter was loose (thanks Jiffy Lube) they tightened it up topped off my oil and cleaned everything off. He told me to bring it back in if the leak continues.Im typically a do it yourself kind of guy but I will definitely be utilizing Apex auto more often.I have since been back in as the leak has continued although at a lesser rate than before the loose oil filter. I want to be clear this had nothing to do with the work Apex did for me. They once agin went above and beyond. They diagnosed the leak as a bad oil pan gasket which is what I suspected. He tightened the bolts and replaced the drain bolt gasket and once again charged me nothing to do so. I had them change the oil and to my surprise the leak is noticeably less. So the tightening of the bolts has helped but I will still need to replace that gasket in the future and plan on using Apex to do so.

Went in to find out why my car wasn’t blowing hot air they ended up finding out it was just a cable that wasn’t plugged in but recommend that I get new wiring, new water pump, new timing belt, and a bunch of other stuff I told them that all I wanted was the timing belt to be replaced because it was an older car. Paid about $900 dollars the day I get it back it dies on me twice and it did not want to idle get it home the next morning it wouldn’t start up so I call them tell them it won’t start they call a tow truck at first they were telling me it needs new fuel injectors, then they said the timing belt jumped, and then finally they. Decided that the head gasket blew and that it would be around $2000 to fix it. The car drove perfectly fine before I went in my buddy who works at another car shop even told me I shouldn’t take it there I really should have listened.

I brought my sons Celica in with an engine noise complaint. Brett explained what the noise probably was and gave me a couple suggestions on how to quiet it down. I did those and it did quiet the engine noise quite a bit. Unfortunately, when my son tried to drive it to his friends house that night, it overheated. I brought it back to Brett and let him do a proper inspection. He charged less than his initial quote as he found the additional problems with the motor quicker than anticipated. I ended up not fixing it but appreciate his straight forward advice and charging a fair price and not trying to sell me services I didnt need. I will definitely be returning with my other vehicles.

I loved taking my cars to Avery, and now that they are Apex, I couldnt be happier to take my cars here! I was out of town but was able to coordinate with Bret to get my Prius that had gotten the dreaded Red Triangle to the shop.They were able to take a look at my car earlier than expected and called me to keep me updated through every step of the process.The price even ended up under the estimated cost. I always feel like I get my moneys worth here and have always felt that the estimates are fair and that I am treated with kindness and respect.I cannot recommend them highly enough. Weve brought our cars here since moving to the area three years ago, and will continue to do so for all of our future mechanic needs!Thank you Apex!

AMAZING! This has been the best experience I have had with a repair shop period. They were knowledgeable and professional from beginning to end. I didnt have to call for updates while my 2006 dodge ram 1500 was with them. They kept me informed the whole time.My only regret is taking my truck to another shop first who after having it for four days called and said they could not figure out what was wrong.Turned out to be a simple fix due to a bad electrical plug in the four wheel drive shift motor.

Great customer service! Les Schwab quoted rear brakes at over $500 and wanted to replace shocks too, which would bring it to $900. Averys (now Apex) was able to do it for $$434. A complimentary mechanical inspection was done and I was told my water pump needs replacement (and I believe them because my friend was standing outside my car and noticed it loud while running and I did think it sounded different but wasnt sure why). I did some research and found out what they charge for a water pump replacement is very reasonable. They called me while replacing my rear brakes to recommend flushing brake fluid, but it was more money than I wanted to spend, so I said no and they were understanding. I was quoted to get that done another time. All around great.

These people are Crooks. Do not take your car there. They will tell you that they will check your engine light for free and then come back and tell you that they had to use special equipment to diagnose your car and charge you $58. I took my car to them, they couldnt find the problem,Bret charged me 132.00 told me to come back when engine light came back on.A few days later the light came on they told me it was a bad iginiton coil failed, they wanted over 442.00. They couldnt fix it that day had to order parts.I was without my car for several days. It was a bad fuel injector. Not iginiton coils. I will never ever return.Tammy in Lake Stevens Wa.

Took my car in because of an oil leak. When I went in to pay the gentlemen offered to show me what they had uncovered. I had spoken to him a few times on the phone previously and he remembered that this was my first car. He even knocked down the cost of labor somewhat as he was aware that I wasnt in the best place financially. I had already had amazing recommendations from multiple sources for this shop but this experience just cemented them as the only place I will go. Absolutley recommend calling them if you are having troubles with your car. It doesnt hurt to at least get a quote!
