We are very disappointed with Davey tree. We had purchased two trees from them with a cost of $2500. After the first season the one tree only had a couple blooms, so we contacted Bill Mareno And he told us give it another year “I’ll take care of it.”Well guess what the next year came and we got zero blooms, and when we purchased the tree Bill said oh you’ll get a lot of flowering in this spot. And Bill did not take care of it. He also sold us the tri-colored beechnut which is supposed to turn a beautiful pink on the leaves in the spring, it did not do that either. Their final response to us was well we can’t guarantee flowers and color the trees are alive! So a little word to the wise Do not trust Bill Mareno he does not stand behind his product and his word means nothing.

We had a very large Burr Oak removed from our property. The Davey crew were very professional. The tree was close to our house so safety was a paramount concern. Indeed, the crew was very safe. And they did a great job.We also appreciate Dean who was very responsive and actually discovered the issue with the tree which needed to be removed.

I was referred to Davey tree from a friend who uses their services. I had lost some white pine trees. Dean came out and was very helpful and knowledgeable as to help guide me to take care of all my new trees. He suggested that my yard was like an arboretum because of all the different species. Great company!

The 3 Davey workmen on my job were some of the most highly trained people I have ever seen. They performed each step of their work, from chocking the chipper wheels, setting out safety cones and warning signs, checking safety chains and tail light cables, checking door latches, wearing all their safety gear and walking the site checking their work order, with deliberate care. The quality of their finished work and clean up on our property was outstanding and rare these days. Thank You Davey!!!

David Taylor is truly an expert in his field. One of the few Board Certified Arborists in the State, his knowledge is second to none. Arborists and and landscapers are apples and oranges when it comes to tree care so do not rule them out if their price is a little high. I found their prices very competitive considering their superior knowledge and recommended treatment plans. The difference in price you pay will far outweigh itself over the years. You will be glad you had to pay a little more now to enjoy your trees for years to come. In addition to superior knowledge, Dave is super customer friendly and focused. I highly recommend Dave and his team.

Guy at work had some trees cut down by Daveys and said it was good price. I saw they were out of Mokena, so I called and they were out 5 days later and took down two 35 foot apple trees. They were FULL of apples, and I mean full. They took down both trees and ground up the stumps. Then they raked all the apples and shoveled them on the back of a dump truck, really didnt expect that. Way beyond my expectation of what I thought they would do. All for a great price, and I shopped around. Thank you very much Daveys Tree Service. Would and will highly recommend you.👍👏🇺🇸
