I bought a male gerbil from here over the winter. Got him for $5 because they said he was aggressive and bit a lot, but hes the sweetest, clingiest thing ever. Appreciated that I had full disclosure on him and the staff was really friendly.

Laura in the grooming salon was wonderful with my boxer puppy.

Good customer service. Very clean inside, which given people can bring their pets in, is both impressive and important. Can definitely recommend.

They have all of the items that we need for our cats

Small aisles. Dingy, poorly lit store. Higher prices. Honestly the selection isnt all that great. Cashiers are generally rude. The overall design hasnt changed in decades. PetSmart- Where you go when you cant wait for Chewy!

PetSmart has a lot of what you need for your pets. The store is arranged well and the aisles are neat and clean. I live it that people are allowed to take their pets into the store. (I wouldnt do it though because I have neurotic cats, but I love petting other peoples pets!) The prices are a little higher than what youll find at discount stores, but in some cases if you order online for in-store pickup, you might find that the online price is a little lower than the shelf price. Weve found some great products at really good prices by ordering online and picking up at the store.

Very quiet and easy to complete shopping tasks during the week right after they open for the day. Didnt have a problem purchasing the items needed because they were in stock and not on Back Order like some retailers continue to experience during these current times.

I take my pups here for training and Karol is hands down the best! She is very straight forward and you can tell she truly loves what she does and always has your dogs best interest in mind!

Ive been bringing my German Shepherd here since she was a puppy and I have nothing but good things to say about the employees in the grooming salon. Today Ryan did my dogs grooming and she looks great. Hes super professional, honest, and caring. Ive also used Katrina many times and shes amazing as well. I highly recommend either employee.

I just want to make sure that one of your employees, Tiffany(dont know her last name) is recognized as a valued employee! In my last two visits to Petsmart at the Mokena location, Tiffany has gone above and beyond in assisting me with the help I needed in my shopping experience. She is professional, kind, always has a smile on her face and when something is out of stock on a particular item that is on sale she figures out a way to accommodate me with my purchase to make sure Im satisfied. In this day in age, there are not many individuals in customer service like Tiffany anymore who go out of there way to make sure a customers satisfaction is made a priority. She also seems like a genuinely decent person who also is very upbeat and has a smile on her face. I will continue to shop at this location simply because of her and the service I receive at this location. Thank you Tiffany!!

Very friendly, but a horrible grooming job! Below zero n they shaved my Dog completely to the bone. We take her to grooming (of course a different place) all the time. No idea what this young lady was thinking. But they are friendly, just won’t be back for grooming.

People were friendly, check your receipt the register isnt always current. Check the sales and the fine print.

First off. It took 2 days to even make a grooming appointment here. Can’t take down a name and number? Second. In a pandemic you would think you would WANT business?? Not be so rude it makes someone take the time to write a review. Mind you I get there 20 minutes early... my dogs acting crazy and is old and hard to get in and out of the car. I get there the receptionist, shame on you. Tells me oh the groomer isn’t here and go walk around the store. I said for 20 minutes? So yeah I shopped around, found a different grooming place and the groomer that missed out on the $100 tip I’m sorry that’s your place of employment. They are COSTING you money. Shame on Petsmart grooming. Doggies beware !!!

Im writing this review solely on my experience with the staff. Im not the biggest fan of stores like petsmart selling livestock but i will leave that out ofthis review. I met the kindest girl here today. Ally is extremely kind and helpful. I can tell she truly loves her job and the animals there.

Always love going in here. So many options for all my animals and fish. Would have given a 5 star if prices were a little better on a regular basis. They do have some great deals sometimes but you just have to keep an eye out for them.

Odered an item online to pick up at the Mokena store. Unfortunately, the wrong aquarium combo was there when I came to get it. At this time, the one I ordered was out of stock. Instead of just cancelling the order, Jake the store manager was super accomodating. It took a few days but Jake was able to arrange for me to get the item from a nearby store in Bradley without losing the black friday price! Rachael at the Bradley store was really helpful and able to fullfill the order. Excellent job guys!! Thank you. Ill be back!

Salon workers did an excellent job

Great people in the grooming area. Took great care of my Dog. She got a bath and nails trimmed for a fair price. Store is well stocked with friendly helpful people. Have used their services in the past and will use them again.

The manager Jen is so wonderful she helped me find the right fitting harness for my dog when I had purchased the wrong one! I was able to return the wrong one and she even found me a deal on my dogs favorite treats so wonderful

Me & my boyfriend visited this location tonight and ended up purchasing a ball python. Hannah and Sam went above and beyond to help us and answer all of our questions. It was a 10/10 experience. 🖤 🐍

I was in there about 4:00 this afternoon. I wish I knew the girls name that helped me but I do know she has a shih Tzu dog. She was so helpful on helping me pick out the right dog food for my dog. I want her to know how much I appreciated her help.

We put in adoption application for cat, Sylvie on 8/01/20. We called on 8/2/20 at 2pm and were told a pet manager would get back to us. Never received a return call. We called at 6pm same day and were told Sylvie was already adopted this am. We then drove to the store, as we were on the way to the store we received a voicemail message from Sue. Message stated we were approved for adoption and could either come in for another cat or they could send our application to Naws. However, at the store our application seemed to be “lost” or “shredded”We almost adopted Stella. But because of this absolutely poor customer service we walked out, never to return.1. Customer service 101 - return calls- to include true information about adoptees2. Adoptees that have pending adoptions already - Put a post it note on their cage- stating “pending adoption”3. Adoption applications - have personal customer information and should not be “lost”

I made appointments for my two dogs in advance. In the comments, I stated I would give my dog an antianxiety pill before arriving. As stated, I gave my dog the pill before taking the 45-minute ride to the salon where I was told they could not groom him because I had given him an antianxiety pill forgrooming. They waited until I got to the salon to tell me this. Why would they ask for any remarks if they are not going to even look at them until after you have travelled to the store? I will never come back to this store for anything!

Oh my goodness, where to start! I have been coming to this location since they opened. All of the staff here is AMAZING. From the cashiers, to the managers, to the groomers, to the dog trainer! They are all amazing. I have three yellow lab puppies and everyone here is always so quick to assist me in picking treats/leashes/harnesses/etc. One cashier looked on her personal phone for a price match on an expensive harness. Multiple sales people even helped me tackle my puppy to the ground to fit him in a harness without even having to ask. They just saw me struggling lol. Karol, the dog trainer, is PHENOMENAL. My fiance and I truly love her. She is so flexible and understands that everyone has busy schedules. She is THE dog whisperer, trust me. Love everything about this store. Come here, you wont be disappointed.

The staff is not very professional. Brought our dog to get bathed and nails ground in November. First, we confirmed to have an appointment one day, when we brought her in they said no it was a different day. So we had to bring her back a different day. When we picked her up she was anxious and wet. There was still wet and had suds under her belly. They said that they were unable to do her nails, which we already were charged for. That was fine I get it, dogs get anxious and is better left for a different time. We go back today and explain to the groomers in the shop briefly what happened, stating there should be a credit for her nails. The lady at the front desk of the grooming shop said she understood and handed us a sheet of paper and said please give this to the cashier. Assuming they needed a count of how many nail grindings they do a day or whatever. We bought a 45 dollar bag of dog food while waiting for the service. The cashier scans the paper, which puts a charge for nail grindings. When we explained it to the cashier, she went to the groomers and they all looked very confused as if this is the first time they were hearing about this. She then proceeds back to the register, takes the grinding off of the bill. When we explained how many times we had already explained this to them. Her answer was Go yell at them if they are being R******* ( I prefer not to use the actual word she said.) If these are the kind of people that are hired to work at Petsmart I will not be giving this place my business anymore. I am disgusted.

This used to be my go-to Petsmart when I lived in the area. Since then it looks like its become a whole lot worse off. The animals, especially the cats look like theyre not being looked after well enough and the fish my family have bought from there never last long. Its sad to see what this place has become, I just hope they change their ways and make the place better.

Wonderful people but the products I buy (Fancy Feast) are not stocked well and a lot a varieties missing.

The best part of petsmart is their full time dog trainer!Karol has such a huge personality and is so interactive with everyone that she meets. We took our puppy to class with her and couldnt have been more happy! She is a wonderful individual and really takes her time with owners and pets and is extremely educated on training! I would recommend seeing her to anyone I meet!

Nice inside. Kids really enjoy looking at all the animals. Always nice to see some cool reptiles and birds. We trie to go on the weekend to catch the adoption pets is they are always fun to see and play with. Kids do 10 to leave always watching a pet :(

Great selection and prices

They’ll hurt your dog to the point of emergency surgery and then refuse to investigate the cause and only assume. They reimbursed me for the surgery and then basically told me to find a new groomer. Stay away from these untrained groomers.

Canned cat food is much more expensive than chewy.com or any other pet store.

They changed my appointment time to earlier, I get there and they say I need his proof of vaccines.. he was just there 3 weeks prior... I drove all the way home and come back and I was told I was 15 min too late. There was no way to take him. I spent 2hrs hauling kids and a puppy back and forth to be sent away. Ill never come back. Im sorry I referred people to this grooming service. So inconsiderate. One girl tried to say a bath can take 2-3hrs.... ridiculous. The manager was absolutely no help. Completely unprofessional.

Ordered food for Kitty on-line, later recd notification via email, it was ready for pick up. Upon arrival, Cashier able to easily obtain my order.

My dog is always happy to be there and the staff is very friendly. They even email you a photo of your dogs grooming! The store is clean, the trainer is wonderful, and the salon is amazing. 5/5 my favorite pet store! ;)
