My daughter has gone to 4 of their summer camps and is also in their lessons and absolutely raves about how much fun she has as well as the friends she makes! I recommend this establishment every chance I get!!!! They are above and beyond and absolutely love all of the people and horse!!

I have been riding at Nova for almost 6 years now and never have I once thought of going anywhere else. The best part about Nova is that it’s not a business, it’s a family. A community. Nova has given me not only 1st place winning riding skills, more importantly I’ve found my real people. My best friends. I don’t know what I would do without Lorri (The owner). She is so kind and loving to everyone at Nova and I couldn’t ask for anything more. She pours her heart and soul out into every lesson. Every child. All. The. Time. When I come to Nova, I feel at home. At Nova it doesn’t matter who you are, or where you came from, you get treated equally as a student and a person. The lesson horses are so well cared for and live such long, amazing lives. Also, the horses that are boarded at our barn are treated with great care and compassion. Every ride is worth your time. The friendships you make are lifelong. Nova. Is. My. Home. And I hope all of you can get the chance to experience the joys of Nova for yourself ❤️

Nova Quarter Horses Inc. YES 👏 thanks to NOVA, all the staff, Leah ♥️ and fate! Not to long ago our child was completely barnless. Nova took her in with no doubt and welcomed her with wide OPEN arms! This kid is the story of while one door opens the other closes. Not mentioning names but we can thank all the shallow barns that didn’t want our young “peewee” and literally left her standing at a locked front gate twice, avoided her phone calls, didn’t return messages, texts, or emails, and completely blew her off. They’re loss 👍NOVA you are none of that!!! Nova’s staff, horses, owners, students, and entire facility have positively proven to be beyond our expectations. This is one VERY SPECIAL BARN. We thank you for YOU and ALL that you do! 🐴

I enjoy the thorough feeling that riding at Nova brings. Students are encouraged to learn about grooming and how to tack up horses. We also get a chance to ride different horses. I feel a lot more competent in my riding now and honestly, its just nice to be around horses!

We love Nova! We tried many other places for lessons with no success. When we found Nova the search was over! Everyone makes you feel like family, the horses are so nice and love the kids as much as the kids love them. My daughter has learned a lot and gained so much confidence. The entire staff is wonderful and always willing to help.I could go on forever about Nova, the people and the horses. Please come out and see for yourself what I am talking about. We would love to expand our Nova family.

We love Nova! My daughter and I have been riding their on and off for about 4 years. The barn is clean and organized and staff are always willing to help with question and horses. The horses are all loved and well cared for.Lorri and Sam are involved owners and trainers and put safety first, which is important when dealing with large animals. At times voices will be raised, but only because the student is doing something that could cause a potentially unsafe outcome. They offer a variety of lessons for all riding levels and ages. The lessons are safe and organized. Even though it is a group, the instructors make sure to challenge individual students.Nova had many special events both for current students and the community.

We had a girl scout event at Nova to earn our Juniors girl scout horse riding patch. We arrived in the office, picked out helmets and went to meet the horses. The staff member who ran our event was very knowledgeable, fun and so good with the kids. She had some great ideas for pictures of our girls, which were some of the best photos we have taken as a troop. We learned about grooming the horses and the staff had selected horses for each of the girls to ride. They helped get each girl who wanted to ride get onto her horse and then taught them how to communicate with the horses so they would go where they wanted. They rode around in the barn slowly until everyone was pretty good then did a light trot. It was in the 90s so we stayed in the barn out of the sun. Most of the girls were asking when we would come back before we even left. Nice facilities, friendly staff. Great experience!

Rode there for 5+ yrs and it was wonderful at first, but as time passed it seemed like they were more revolved around money than the skill and quality of the riders i whitnessed the owner smaking a shoer...and she contantly yelled at us that we were to close to each other when we could do nothing about because we were in a 22 + kid class in a very small arena and there were some very dangerous sittuations...like when a friend of mine fell of everyone kept goning at a canter. im so glad i made the decision to leave i love my new barn the are it is an enviorment that makes me feel like family. dont get me wrong it is a decent place as a beginner but go some where else if you want to become an advanced rider and a trainer that keeps promises and cares about you!

I have been riding at Nova for ten years, and I have never even once thought about ever going somewhere else. This facility, first off, is gorgeous, and is home to the biggest indoor riding arena in the area, so that year round riding lessons are provided, along with an outdoor arena. The lessons they offer range from pee-wee all the way up to advanced, and every time you go you learn something new. After a few years of riding with Mary Joe, I began riding with the owner of the barn, Lorri. All the instructors at Nova are extremely knowledgeable of not only how to ride a horse, but how to make the riding experience an unforgettable one! As I climbed the ladder and eventually became an advanced rider, I was given the opportunity to show off the property at an open show. Little did I know i was in for a treat. Lorri and her staff exceeded my expectations and to this day never cease to amaze me. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond and help in any way possible for the best interest of the customer. The horses are extremely friendly and are very trustworthy. As I mentioned before pee-wee lessons starting as young as 5 years old are offered, and the horses take care of their riders to the fullest extent. Not only is this a place to learn how to ride horses. But you learn how to properly care for them in an environment that is kid friendly! There simply are not enough words to express how impressive this facility and its staff is.

Ive been at Nova for almost a year now and everyone there is always so nice. I rode at Fitzjoy Farms for just a camp maybe 4 years ago and when I came to Nova for summer camp last year, I felt like there was more love going around and like there was more interaction. Everyone is so nice to each other and people dont just go here to ride. Some come to the barn and they dont even ride! They just come because they love the Nova community. The owner Lorri has been an excellent trainer and some people says that shes mean but that is not the case at all. Lorri is always just trying to help everyone get better so that they they can be their best selves. I hope that I get to stay here for as long as I can because for now Im definitely not thinking about moving to another stable. Thank you Lorri for not only giving me the opportunity to ride at your stable and your horses, but for also being an amazing trainer.

My young daughter and I have been riding at Nova for almost two years. What started out as a trail ride followed by weekly lessons quickly led to volunteering, working and quite honestly a second home/family. Mother/daughter team Lorri and Sam and the rest of the office and barn staff are extremely knowledgable, friendly and welcome all riders (and non-riders) of all ages with open arms. My daughters confidence has really blossomed and shes made some great friends. The older more experienced riders are excellent mentors and role models. The opportunities at Nova are endless...lessons, birthday parties, on and off-property horse shows, summer camp, winter camp, mommy and me, daddy and me, family days, ladies nights, fundraising events, community events, etc. The barn is clean and the horses are healthy and happy. Both indoor and outdoor riding is available year round. Check it out for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

I cant say enough about what Nova has done for my daughter. She has not only become a great rider, but a more confident and more responsible young lady. The stables are clean (and my family has bad allergies). The staff is amazing and very responsive to my many questions. The horses are VERY well taken care of. They are like children to the owner Lorri. Finding Nova has been a blessing in so many ways.

I rode here for a few years when I was a kid. The owner or Lori Ebeling doesnt care about the students, just their parents money. When I rode here she verbally abused the students including myself, put the students in dangerous situations and verbally abused employees. Id give my business to a barn that will actually teach your child/self riding skills and how to compete athletically, not milk parents bank accounts and do the very minimum training techniques, theres more to competition than walk trot and canter people. I left to go to a barn that actually cares about the rider and was cheaper and better for my mental health in the long run. Edit-- also, i personally witnessed the owner (lori) abusing a horse inside the indoor arena after the horse attempted to buck her off. I watched her tie the reins to the saddle stirrups and hit the horse with the slack of the reins as the horse tried to run away from her in circles as it could not get away from her. It was absolutely disgusting.

I rode there and it was terrible. I have been riding other places and so far this is the worst and Fitzjoy Farm has been the best. There is little supervision. The people helping bridle the horse was just shoving it straight into his teeth that could brake. The horses are always a little on edge. Not safe for beginners. When I went for my first lesson there they were training a horses inside the arena. It was the worst. I have been riding at Fitzjoy and they take well care of their horses and make it safe. The location of NOVA could have been better.

Not only is this place unprofessional but dangerous!!!!! The owner (Lori) took my 6 year old on her 4 th lesson onto a trail where she allowed my daughter to get separated from the group. When I ran up to Lori to ask where my daughter was after I seen she was not with the rest of the group of kids, Lori (very unconcerned) tells me that the horse my daughter was on ran back to the barn. So while I waited on the other side of the trail for them to come out, the horse took my daughter away from the group and I had to run to find my daughter unsupervised in the barn alone on the horse. Lori said she couldnt leave the other 5 kids she had on horse to attend to one. So I guess my child doesnt matter?!?! My daughter will never return here. Greatly concerned for other childrens safety when attending the lessons threw Lori and her staff.

Hello everybody, I have been riding and Nova for ever I ride with Lorri b/c I think she is the best instructor ever!!! Im also on the show team!! Ik she is you may think shes not but shes the best anyone can get, now ik some people say oh well shes mean or She yells to much and shes a bad instructor and abunch more stuff but to tell you the truth yeah your right she does yell a lot but you want to no why b/c she wants to make you a better rider and also sometimes you can not hear properly when your riding on the horse. She doesnt want your parents paying money for you to ride in a lesson and not learn anything she doesnt want there money wasted. She helps you with so much stuff shes not some boring instructor shes not sitting on her phone shes watching each and every one of you to make sure your doing things properly and safely the people there are so kind and so sweet!! Kids have so much fun here there always walking around making abunch of friends and having fun together!! I always see everyone with big smiles on there faces!! She has special events for different holidays and everything we play games on horse back which is so much fun!! She helps all of us threw everything even stuff non horse related!! Lorri is so perfect I mean she never gives up on a kid never once have I seen that!!! I know for a fact that she is the instructor for me b/c shes never gave up on me shes been threw a lot with me and so much more but I love her with all my heart shes made me the rider I am and shes always helped me accomplish my goals!!! Nova has such great horses none of them are mean rumors get spread around saying abunch of stuff but that doesnt mean there true!! Every place has rumors and you cant denie that b/c its the truth!! Lorri would never do anything cruel to a horse she treats them with so much respect!! The people here are not liars or thiefs and if they are liers well guess what thats only some and everybody is a lier at some point in time so just face that!! And thiefs always are punished if they steal from Nova or Novas people that come here!! I could go on forever about how much this place ROCKS but I think this is good enough for now!!!
