My husband and I have been looking for a facility that we both agreed on for a while. After speaking with Markila at this location on the phone and in person, I was sold! She is incredibly professional, courteous, pleasant, funny, efficient and knowledgeable and knows her job inside and out. Ive had such bad experiences while looking for a space and she took away all of my concerns by answering my questions and even anticipating questions that I would have. She is definitely an asset to the company and as customers, we are blessed to be able to make her acquaintance. She is a light and leader in customer service. Keep up the great work!

This place continuously raises the rent citing demand; be careful if you are a renter looking for a long term arrangement. In addition, I would read and understand the rental agreement very carefully.

We have had such good service with Life Storage at Mokena. The ladies are extremely helpful and understanding. We intended to move out this past weekend to a unit closer to home (we recently moved to the city), and after Family Movers of Chicago kept us waiting for 5 hours before we cancelled, we were given a warm place to wait and use the restroom. Life Storage even helped us choose a reliable moving company, and turned a morning of pure frustration into something productive. The people working here are kind and compassionate and want what is best for their customers. We are sad to leave and appreciate all you have done for us over the years.

Very accommodating staff! We needed to move our new RV from its current back-in spot to a pull through. Tammy in the office was very helpful with letting us know the available spots and once we decided the new location, easily helped us with the transfer paperwork. The office area is always clean and well kept. We like the fact that there is a gate with code needed to enter the property. Property grounds are well maintained.

I dont store there but sometimes come to buy a box or so for my work. Markila is always nice, professional, and helpful.

Went in a couple days ago purchased some boxes. The girls in the office were great. Although I was not interested in storage they gave me information incase at some point that my situation changed.

The staff is super helpful and the property well kept. Their lock selection is decent if youre in a pinch, but you can get a better one at Home Depot for the same price. Overall, Im satisfied with my choice of storage facility.

The manager was extremely helpful with getting me set up with a unit. I wasnt sure exactly what I needed and he helped me determine what was appropriate for my belongings. He was right! I received an affordable unit and the fact that it is month to month helps tremendously as I hope to settle into a new place soon. The units are clean and carts are always available. The halls are very well lit. I would recommend this storage facility to everyone.

Glenn at the Life Storage in Mokena provided tremendous customer support throughout the entire rental process. He showed me a 10 x 30 ft unit as soon as I arrived on site, walked me through each phase of the rental contract and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He also explained to me about the insurance requirement.The unit was clean, well-lit, dry and very secure. The entrance road was wide enough for a large PODS truck to drop off two of my PODS units in front of my storage unit, so that my family could easily and quickly unload my household goods from the PODS units to my new Life Storage unit. It was exactly what we needed, and it was a very positive experience in our move from sunny California to snowy, cold Chicago.

I have never been so impressed with a storage facility as I was with LifeStorage of Mokena. After calling several facilities I was given clear, concise information over the phone about my options. I made a reservation and when my wife and I came in, we were very impressed with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The location is clean, well kept, secure, and convenient. We chose this location even though there was another facility that was a bit more accessible. We are currently using another storage company and we will be moving our items from that facility to the LifeStorage facility within the next few days. I highly recommend LifeStorage of Mokena.

From the phone call to reserve the unit to the confirmation in the office and the condition of the storage unit, everything has been pleasant. Very clean, secure, carts are always available for use for moving in/out at the Mokena location. Pricing was competitive with other local storage facilities. So glad we chose to go with this storage company.

We are current renters of a unit at LifeStorage and can confidently recommend LifeStorage to anyone looking for clean, safe, affordable storage space. The rental process is easy, the units are clean, and the hours are perfect. We drove by LifeStorage many times, thinking it would be out of our price range because, frankly, it looks too nice to be reasonably priced. However, it is very reasonably priced and we are very glad we decided to check it out.

Very happy with the facility so far. Signing up was easy and rates very good compared to other storage facilities in the area. The location is great, and picking up and dropping off our travel trailer is a breeze.

Vehicle storage is to tight. Prices increase regularly once they have you. But they are close to I80 and allow 24hr access if you park there

Good, secure location to meet all your storage needs. Unit offerings in various sizes and options (i.e. indoor, climate control, drive-up, etc). Employee(s) are always present and keep regular office hours. Prices have increased three times since first renting nearly two-years ago; however the prices remain average and comparable to other options in the area. Only two complaints are: 1) A lack of trash disposal option on-site (every storage unit Ive rented in the past had a large trash receptacle available for renters to use when cleaning out their lockers); and 2.) An employee keeps placing stickers on all the locks in the facility - super annoying and impossible to remove.

I have been storing my RV here 3 for months. I just love this property, is so convenient. The managers are awesome!!!!

Our outdoor storage unit was broken in to and no-one contacted us by phone or by mail or email. It was my husband who discovered something was wrong when he went to our unit and realized the lock had been changed. When he went into the office to inquire, they let him know that the unit had been vandalized 2 months prior. Our snowblower was stolen as well as our grill and a few more smaller items. Our unit was filled to the absolute maximum capacity with mountains of boxes in the front and the snowblower in the back and out of sight. Assuming The theives didnt know it was there, they would have had to have taken the time, as well as the risk to move all of the boxes out if the way just to see if there was anything valuable in the back. My husband and I are convinced it was an inside job for the followig reasons: 1)The thieves didnt seem to be worried about getting in and out quickly, as the boxes were stacked back into place after snowblower and grill had been removed. 2) Someone mustve known the large items were in back. 3) No-one contacted us for 2 months, even though they knew our unit was vandalized. 4) The thieves not only had time to remove our boxes, load snowblower and grill and carefully stack boxes back in unit, they had enough time to vandalize other units as well.
