If it werent for the fact that I received amazing help with my meds (I went from barely functioning to holding down a job and preparing to go to school part time) I would say this place deserves no stars at all. The med component of this place was really good and I consider it a blessing, but the counseling portion, which is required at least once a month to receive medicine refills, is a joke. The first counselor I spoke with was the stereotype down to and how does that make you feel and when I transferred I had hope that the second would be better. I was wrong. It was like she didnt know what anxiety felt like or how to handle what it or anything else I was going through. I question if she truly had the experience to handle my case. She repeatedly canceled on me and then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to continue services with her. Excuse me? I stopped going for a few months, but I asked her to keep my case open and said I would need to see her in a month as I couldnt get in to see my new psychiatrist until 2020. Today I found out she closed out my case and had to frantically call places to get an appointment to ensure that I would be able to continue to work, as I cant go to work (or stay in reality for that matter) without medication. I was blessed to get an appointment at another facility, but all I have to say about this place is this; thanks for nothing. Would not recommend to anyone.

Went there for a few weeks then my counselor left for another job, was told I would meet my new counselor at last visit with old counselor. Never happened, I waited for 5 months to hear back until new counselor finally called and said to find a new counselor because they are filled up and she hasn’t called because she’s been on vacation. I get mental health services are understaffed but at least let clients know what’s going on. Never even met new counselor before she told me to go find another one. Not a good place fore struggling teens and young adults.

Awesome staff!! They are short staffed and you can tell they are tired sometimes and over worked. Im positive be they have their own personal problems. They put everything aside to help those who come in a time of need. They do the BEST they can to personally check in with everyone and have personal conversations. They answer resquest and question asap. They make the environment a family orientated and friendly. Which also make it easy to socialize. I recommend JOSIES PLACE to anyone. Its a place to come when you need a mini vacation from life.💓💓

Been at Josies for over 2 years now and I can honestly say that without the staff making an effort to help me get housing I dont know where Id be today. The staff are all amazing and really care about what they do and helping others. When Im struggling and I cant help but see myself as a complete failure, My counselor has always been the one that lets me know all kinds of positive qualities and choices Ive made to get me to see clearly again. What I value the most is that Ive always got there support, even after major slip ups there always there to remind me that I can do it

The staff here is not friendly at all. I was harassed by one lady walking in because I had a service animal. They were rude and spoke over me multiple times. This place is supposed to be helpful for at risk people but they dont care about who they are servicing.
