I had a good experience once, but then when I purchased a set of steaks I had to specify not frozen at the store. When I cooked the meat it flared up so bad it ruined everything on the grill because the steak was 70% fat. When I brought it to their attention demanding that this wasnt okay, they only offered to take care of part of what was ruined. Never in my 11 years of grilling have I seen a steak with so much fat, nor have I ever had a flare up like that. Would absolutely never recommend this place.

Slow on delivery on their end & terrible on calling back. Falls short in many areas & reciveed meat sure seems to b short more then once.

I have a picky dog and was told to make bone broth. I chose beef bone broth and the 2 ladies up front were extremely polite and helpful. I didnt know what to ask for, but I told them what I wanted to do and they gave me the bones I needed. Great customer service is dying, but not at Daves, and I have one happy dog!

Was quoted a pound price on the phone. Made the 20-mile trip in and was charged double the quoted price. My request that they honor the quoted price was rejected by someone in the back room. Others seem happy with them, so maybe this sort of bait and switch is rare here.

Stop & pick up meat for supper. You wont be disappointed, youll become a loyal customer.

Daves Meat Service is a state certified pack and wrap facility. They have great customer service and take the time to understand your needs. Unlike some other pack and wrap facilities, they make an effort to give you quality custom butchery tailored to the animal and your market, if youre selling your own meat to the public.If its just for your own use, you can be assured that the cuts you receive are for sure your own animal! And they look the way theyre supposed to, not some mangled sawn apart piece of meat. The cryovac is always sealed. They dont charge extra to pack steaks individually as most places do. Their linguica and sausage is very well done. For hunters, they have affordable services as well as recommendations for a local taxidermy specialist, which is hard to find these days.

My sister and I go in half for a big box of meats. and the cuts are off the hook. We love this place and keep going back.
