Jose at Grover Nursery is great! He knows his plants and if he doesnt have it in stock, he can find it for you! Super responsive! Plant quality is great! We always get our Monrovia carpet roses from Jose!

I visited the nursery in Modesto and the grounds manager, Francisco, took the time to make recommendations and ensure we were choosing material that best suited our needs?   We didn’t realize that this nursery was open to the public, and we will definitely go again. The nursery is beautiful and everyone is very friendly!

We called grover because of their implied knowledge and trust. They butchered the lemon tree. leaving the majority of this years crop on the ground. they ignored the problem areas and instead decided to concentrate on the trees that were in good shape and needed little work. I stopped them before they could do them same to the grapefruit and orange. We are still in need of service. Grover is dishonest. They took advantage of aging mothers ignorance. l be reporting them to the BBB

The 3 gentlemen who came to my place were very courteous, followed through on my request, and did more work than I expected on cleanup. The service was great. I would recommend them to anyone. I had two limbs broken during the storm on Monday.

Words can not express how grateful I am for Grovers. Not only are they completely professional and do great work, the were very patient waiting on the unprofessionalism of the City of Stockton while being sensitive to our situation. The communication between the office and the workers was very comforting during this process and Jeremy and his crew did an excellent job safely removing our huge oak tree from our home. Again, we thank them for helping us get through this trying time as we are moving to the next step of rebuilding.

Our HOA hired this company to do weekly yard maintenance. They have been extremely rude and unresponsive when we brought up concerns about our sprinklers, lawn and trimming the bushes in our yard. They have broken sprinklers with their lawn mowers and have refused to fix them. This morning they were blowing off our porch with their blower. He blew the sign off of our front door. The worker watched this happen and just turned around and walked away like nothing happened. In the 8 years that I’ve lived here the yards in this HOA have not looked this horrible. Even the common areas look unkept. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with getting my tree removed. In fact, i will be contacting them to get a quote for landscaping. I would highly recommend them!!!!

Update: Grover did a great job of trimming our trees. We also had them plant 6 new trees. While were very pleased with the tree trimming, I dont think they did a good job with the tree planting. The holes were barely big enough for the new trees and there was not any soil amendments added to the sandy soil that we have. However, they did stake them well and all the jobs were completed on time. Overall, Im satisfied, but I would not use them for the tree planting next time. I do recommend them for tree trimming.Update: I did speak with Randy the following week, and other than the initial issue mentioned below, their communication since then has been excellent. Ive got them scheduled to trim some trees and plant new ones.Original review:Randy came out on Wednesday to give me an estimate to trim about 5 trees. He was punctual and professional. He said hed email me an estimate, but its now EOB Friday, and I not received anything. I called him, left 2 voicemails, and emailed him, still nothing. I dont understand why a business would come out and waste their time and mine and not follow up.

Garbage and Rusty metal in the bark they used.Tried to warn them but some guy in a straw hat basically called me a list. Neighbor had a rusty spike in her flop. Sad.

Great to work with professionals that know their job. Also attaching a video of one of the trees worked on, in this case a removal. Also another video of two trees being trimmed. Videos can help to see and understand the difference between pros and a guy with a chainsaw that can climb a tree.

Every Friday morning I am greeted by a Super Great employee of Grover, Jesus Villalobos. He does an Outstanding job inside the pool cage at Graceada Park. Along with his quick skills, he has Excellent customer service! We have developed a close friendship, always asking how our families are doing. Keeping them in prayer, when they might be sick. He’s definitely Good people and an asset to his company!Give that man a raise! Ha ha. Hire this company and request Jesus, one of the best.

When cities, counties and other large institutions and businesses use Grover Landscape and Tree Services, they expect and receive the highest levels of service. You should and can expect the same level of service as a homeowner or business owner. They also have a well-stocked wholesale nursery open to the public.

Ive seen the landscaping along the frontage/median strip by Kimball High in Tracy along Lammers Road go from very ugly, weedy and dried up to looking great! I drive by there daily. They are re-staking trees and doing a wonderful job! Kudos to all who are working on that team. Tracy finally has hired the best of the best.Thank you!
