Rushed and messy. I went in for a simple mani and pedi. While my pedicure came out great, my hands are a different story. The woman that helped me did the sloppiest manicure I’ve ever gotten. The layers are uneven, she missed like 75% of my nail, and created the sloppiest line around the cuticle. When I very kindly asked her to fix a couple of the nails that were done poorly she gave me attitude and rudely removed the polish. I’m disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and sloppiness. Also these pictures taken literally 2 days after my mani yikes. 🤢

John is the most amazing one in the place. I know now that I have to make an appointment to get him but every time my nails come out fabulous, just like today.

My new favorite place, I typically dont do my nails or pedicure often but in this shop the ladies and gentlemen are very welcoming the quality of their work is amazing. Thank you and we will see you in 2 weeks

This place was very accommodating and was able to get me in when they said they could. John did my nails and they came out wonderful. I will be going back as I was super pleased with how I was treated and how my nails came out. Currently they are cash only, but they have approximately 8 nail stations and just as many pedicure stations. The wait was not too bad, and they looked semi busy @ 430 pm.

I have been coming here for awhile now & the staff is so friendly & knowledgeable. Tina is my artist & she is AWESOME!!!! The prices have gone up quite a bit (thanks to having to be/stay closed) & theyre cash only right now. Buuuuuuut theyre SO WORTH IT! Appointments can be made online. Super fast, super easy to do. I suggest giving them a try. I know Nail Salons are a dime a dozen but honestly, a great salon is very hard to find (trust me).

They got me in right away. They took all the right precautions and they did an absolutely amazing job on my nails and my pedi felt amazing. I am so happy with my purple nails :D I will definitely be back!!

The people here are sooo nice!! I didnt feel rushed and was able to really enjoy the experience. I did feel like to lady didnt use the hot stones for more than a second or two on each leg. That was disappointing but everything else was rave worthy

Won’t be going here again. Can’t even do basic white nails. Horrible job. Don’t go here if your picky because you will be leaving unhappy. My toe nail was cut so low he wasn’t even able to keep the square shape on it. It was very disappointing no matter how I explained what I wanted it seems like he didn’t get it.

My mother-in-law is a real lady and very patient. The therapist however was late on her appointment; helped walk-ins ahead of us and extremely rude to my mother in law. She then insisted on “acrylic, acrylic, acrylic” in a very impatient and rude tone when my mother-in-law asked for gel. And for acrylic one doesn’t need gel - the nail should be built up with white and pink acrylic as we’ve had before. My mother-in-laws’ nails were lifting within a week. I’m sad that she got treated this way. Her service was very very unprofessional, incompetent and uncalled for.

I love coming to you guys. Its a bit funky sometimes, trying to get an appointment and choosing a technician. Ive never actually managed to get the technician Ive chosen before. So I just go in to enjoy whoever works on me, since everyone at NT Nails is great. So far, I havent been disappointed. At worst, Ive left slightly neutral, thinking it could have been done better, but Im still satisfied with my service and quickly put in my calendar to come back next month. Its affordable, its relaxing, and my nails are in better health for it.Unfortunately, it didnt seem to work like that on Saturday evening. I came in for a manicure/pedicure for my birthday, to try and spoil myself a little. I rarely, if ever, get manicures, since I keep my nails short and prefer funky colors that I could just paint on myself if I ever got the urge.I wish I remember the mans name who worked on me, but all I remember was he was younger and had a green shirt on. He seemed a bit inexperienced, and honestly it feels like he mangled my hands. There was no lotion, so my hands felt rough and looked dry and worn afterwards, but what hurt the most was that in his cuticle trimming, he turned on the actual skin, causing small bleeds on three nails. I didnt notice that they were bleeding, since they didnt bleed much and didnt hurt more than I thought was normal, but when he got to my ring finger on my left hand, he actually took a good chunk out of my finger. It wouldnt stop bleeding no matter what we did, it hurt like the Dickens, and even two days later, its puffy, swollen, and hurts when brushed up against something. Ive taken to wearing bandages over it, and tell people I did my nails myself and ended up with a papercut from work.Since Ive never had such a thing happen before, Im not sure how it was supposed to be handled. He did apologize and put some sort of green liquid on it that I assume was supposed to help sterilize it, but there was little else done, and Im a bit concerned that it may be infected, since its puffed up and not scabbing over properly. Like I said, Ive never experienced this before, at NT Nails or anywhere else, so Im not sure whether anything more could have been done, but it certainly didnt feel that great that he just kind of brushed it off while still trying to stop the bleeding.I enjoy visiting NT Nails often. I try to come in every month for a pedicure, in order to keep my toenails under control. I get ingrown toenails very easily on my feet, and it helps a lot to have someone who knows what theyre doing cut them down properly. This is the first time Ive come here for a manicure, and unfortunately it may be my last. Id recommend this place for a great pedicure, but would caution against manicures unless you keep a careful eye on where the cuticle trimmers are going.

I love this place! Recently got short gel acrylics and the lady was super sweet! I made an appointment and they were very nice about me being a bit late. The nail tech (I think it was Tina but before I had Helen) was very gentle with my Nails (I didn’t really take care of them after removing a previous set) and introduced me to gel! I’ve been going there for my sets and will get my fills here too to keep up with them 😊

First visit was great Its a popular place very busy lots of employees to cover the customers . I will be returning

This guy who answered the phone was very helpful. I know they co excellent work cause my daughters mom drives all the way there from Turlock. This guy allowed me go buy a gift certificate in Turlock so my daughters mom could get her nails done there on Floyd in Modesto. If I had another pair of hands I would give them 4 thumbs up.

They got me right in. In 1 hour i had french mani and regular pedi. Awesome!!!!! Ladies are very nice there.

I went with my best friend to get our nails done. I asked for mine to be longer but the lady LITERALLY said to my face “no these are already long enough” and proceeded to move on. I’m paying why is she changing up what I want? to add on, she got acrylic powder along my cuticles which caused my fingers to burn when i put my hand under the UV light. and then on the other hand, my friend asked for SQUARE shaped nails, but the lady did them so horribly. they ended up looking like those fan-shaped nails.

One of the guys were extremely rude! Hes probably the manager . They didnt ask what style of nail did I want and did what they wanted. they dont even give you the change or even ask if they can keep it . Most ladies were sweet though .

Very friendly, not rushed & the pedicure with the massage chair Is very relaxing. I highly recommend for all guys If youve never had a pedicure.

So ... i got a gift card for my birthday and decided to try to use it the same day. the salon was closed. about 2 weeks later I finally had a day off where they were open to get my nails done. I knew Id have to pay more because I wanted gel instead of regular because I work with my hands so I wanted them to last a little longer than the regular paint but the receptionist informed me that the prices were raised that day. That was disappointing because this was originally a gift. It wasnt a big raise but Im not one to spend money on myself so going back for more of the same services seemed to expensive for me. Well 2 days later one of my gel nails chipped. Being I actually had 2 days off in a row and didnt do much for them to already be chipping. So I called and they told me about their 7 day policy, the day following the call I fit going back into my schedule and when I arrived. I was made to feel like a big inconvience. They ended up taking me right away after I said I couldnt wait 25 minutes for 1 nail to be fixed. At this time I Disnt see why they were telling me 25 minutes if they were able to seat me and have it done under 10 minutes. (Literally how long it took to be fixed). Now I thought I was on my way and they would last for at least a week. NOPE! By day 8 of having them originally done they were pulling off like crazy just one after another. It was one day after their policy . I will never go back more recommend this nail salon. a 30 dollar giftcard and 20 extra dollars on top of that for my nails not to last as long as they spiced them up to do.. I just hate that the lady that did my nails in the first place was so nice that this was what actually happened.

Don’t waste your time coming here, you can do yourself a better pedicure. Did a google appointment and they made us wait for 10 minutes while other people came in and they took them instead. Poor service and they charge you a sh*tload for putting different creams on your feet that I’m sure you can get on amazon and put it yourself...

They did okay on my feet but I did not get my nails finished. The guy who did my nails kept telling me not to touch my nails because it’s going to make my nail polish not stick correctly. Everytime I get my nails done I touch them nobody has ever told me not to do so. And I touch Them to make sure they are not thin which they ARE I touch them to check if they are smooth also. They are over priced as well and not sanitary or very clean I wouldn’t come here ever.

I get a 5 star pedicure at NT every time! Kim and Mai are true professionals. Ive been to multiple establishments over the the years and NT is the best! Reasonably priced but above all very clean. The place is always clean. Ask for Kim or Mai and you wont be disappointed!!!

I have been a NT nails customer for almost 7 years since I moved to this area. They are wonderful! I have tried other nail salons but the service and the quality NT nails provides is unmatchable. I have had many different NT staff do my nails and it’s consistently great. My favorite thing about NT nails is that they don’t rush (unless you ask them to). A lot of other nail places rush you in and out to get to the next customer. At NT nails, I can actually relax. I’ve truly never had a bad experience. Their staff is great and always remembers me and other details I’ve shared about my life. I go to the one on Floyd Ave but have also been pleased with the one on Coffee Rd.

My daughter treated me to a pedicure for an early birthday- loved it 💕

I really love this place they have two locations in Modesto. They are always very polite and often can get you right in even on a walk-in basis. You have to pick your times carefully. The quality of the Polish and their skills are great. What I am most appreciate is that everyone here is friendly cheerful and a joy to be with.

Charles is extremely nice and super fast, he really good with acrylic. I never have a problem when hes my manicurist. This place is price is a few dollars more than most nail salon but I think it totally worth it

I got my nails done for graduation and I absolutely love them. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and by far these were my favorite. Charles shaped my coffin nails perfectly and one of the other ladies painted them. They were all so nice. This is my new spot definitely

I came in today because I have never seen a business with such many good ratings. If you are in the area and looking for some place where you can come and not worrying about the results, this is definitely the place. Pretty spacious. Techs are super nice and they know what to do. They use good quality products and beautiful colors so I could feel the difference comparing to many other places I have been to and my nails usually last for a long time. Clean and organized. Reasonable price. Highly recommended !!!

My favorite nail place! I found this place a couple of years ago and continue to go here every couple of weeks even though I reside in Merced now. Leann is amazing and all the other staff is as well. The place is clean and professional and they are prompt with taking walk ins and keeping your scheduled appointments as well. They have a great selection of colors for the shellac/gel polish so if you can’t find a color it is only because you can’t choose just one. The prices are great and the service is amazing! You will not be disappointed here!

This is is my 2nd visit to this salon, and I researched a lot to figure out which one I was gonna try, I saw Leann both times!She did an awesome job and is always punctual, friendly and professional, which is hard to find as most know, when we go into the walk in salons most of the interaction is always between the employees, and I always feel like they can’t go fast enough to get me out and the next body in the chair. I loved this salon! I didn’t catch the ladies name, but she was very accommodating to my needs. All of the ladies that work there seem so sweet. They even handled a very discriminative guest very well in my opinion. The guest basically told them to speak English because she didn’t understand their language and proceeded to say that she was just saying what we were all thinking. No one agreed. They remained nice and professional, however. Will be back again!

Not polite. Will never go back again. Very bad fill they did. Had to have a whole new set put on because of this. They speak in there langauage the whole time while doing your nails. They get upset when you dont get multiple services done. Makes you feel very uncomfortable.

Good for pedicures, do not recommend the eyebrow waxing there. You sit at a nail table in front of whole salon and eye brows arent waxed properly.

Very grimey and dirty inside Crowded no places to sit and just felt really uncomfortable the whole time. Nail tech made me bleed twice and didn’t even clean the blood. And began to use tools which hurt. Kept pressuring me to get gel which I didn’t. Nails were placed VERY crooked and didn’t even do them properly they were still showing my real nail beds on the sides on almost all of them when they were finished polishing he sat me in front of a little fan which made my nails get air bubbles and looked even worse after . My nails hurt and they looked bad. Will never be going back

I loved going there but last week I went, the lady did a horrible job and I did not get what I paid for. My shellac did not even last and had to peel it off. I was so disappointed!

They do not know how to remove nails properly. They damaged my natural nails when taking my acrylics off. I was bleeding! I dont even think he threw the nail filer away, very unsanitary. Never going to this one ever. Do not go, the pain was unbearable and they still charged me.

Im here visiting from out of state, and definitely needed a fill. I was thoroughly impressed with NT Nails! They got me in quickly, were very thorough and didnt make me feel rushed, and my nails came out beautiful. Their prices are great (possibly even a bit cheaper than what I pay back home) and the work was quality! Big props to Leanne (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) and Peter for doing such amazing work! Will definitely recommend to friends and family here, and will be back whenever Im in town!

Came in for a gel manicure with no appointment. They took me in right away! I believe her name is Thi, she was the sweetest. Made me feel really comfortable and she was fluent in English. My gel manicure came out perfect! The only thing I was eh about was the price, $30 for gel mani to me sounds a little much but she did end up massaging my hand/arm. So I guess it was okay! ☺️

Walk-in service for a pedicure was great. The lotion and hot stone massage was really soothing. My only complaint is that the polish started to lift off the next day, and thats never happened to me before. It may have been the polish quality, but Im not sure. A week later, I only have four toes still painted, and the color is chipped. Overall, good experience but Im rather disappointed the polish didnt last longer.

Tina always takes great care of me. He pedicure is awesome, great massage and she’s very detailed so my Nails always look great. Trying the umbra nails today. Thanks Tina!

This was my favorite place, but lately they are too busy, so there is NO attention to detail. They are distracted and alot of times one tech starts on you and another finishes the job. When you ask them for a special look, they are never willing to try them. Maybe because they dont know how. They are over priced and charge the same $ for a fill as they would for a new fresh set.😕

Terrible service!! I was here yesterday (my original place was closed for the holiday) and wont be coming back. The guy at the front had a nasty attitude both times that I spoke with him. I was there getting a full set as well as my daughters and right as the lady put on the nails (before the acrylic) the guy at the front asked me to get out of my chair for another lady (old white lady) which I read on another review he does this a lot. He said he forgot to add her appointment to the schedule. I think he should have offered her or myself something for his mistake, thats what you call good customer service. Also, this place is too small and very crowded.

I love them for pedi/manis!!! They do such a great job and good prices. The ladies are so nice and talk to you. They are very knowledgeable about stuff like ingrown toe nails and always get mine out. I love them fro everything nails!However they are not licensed estheticians! (Professional waxers.) I needed an emergency wax and European Wax was booked full. Their wax stuff was dirty, they double dip the stick, can only use soft wax and didnt know what hard wax was... The tiny wax warmer was one you use at home for person waxing and looked liked it was used by everyone and their mom. The waxing is not sanitary and they are not licensed to do it!!! Stay away from the waxing. I high tailed it out of the wax area and thankfully my girl who is licensed had an appointment and she could get me in to her sanitary and professional waxing.

A woman walked in without an appointment and was immediately taken care of. So I got up and walked out. They have lost my service

Took my fiance and daughters here to get their nails done for my fiances birthday. I dont know much about nail polish but my kids nail polish came off after just over an hour. The staff was beyond rude and my fiance says they didnt even fill her nails correctly. Safe to say they wont be going here again.

Unfortunately, the worse service Ive had in a while. As I entered one of the men who worked there was sitting on a pedicure chair, staring at his phone while he spoke with me. He never made eye contact and pointed at the nail polish and said pick a color, very short, quick and rudely. After he sat us down, he & another went to work on our feet, saying little to nothing and not being very gentile. They worked incredible slow and acted lazy. There was a women who had an appointment and kindly waited, a lot of time passed by while she sat, so she made a comment to the man saying her appointment was 20 minutes late and she had somewhere she had to be soon. (Which is understandable since she thought her appointment would be on time..) he shrugged his shoulders and walked away rudely, then she & her daughter left. Things were decent for a little while, the service was getting better, until we saw the end result.. Poorly done. Very very sloppy. He didnt even offer to put my shoes on when we were finished.. I had to mention it to him. Im not one to complain or bash any ones company.. And I dont doubt there ability to perform well on other days.. And Im not saying they dont do good work. But today was not good, it was bad enough I wrote a review. Overall, I didnt enjoy the service, and I wont be coming back, nor my two friends.
