I been going to this place for a while because of good prices and products. But the past 2 times I been there the employees weren’t wearing mask. It’s very unfortunate with everything going on regarding Covid-19. Our family has lost several family members to Covid so safety is our main priority. I just hope this establishment could take Covid guidelines a bit more serious.

Cant begin to tell you how amazing this store is! Patrick and his staff are what retail is all about! They strive to bring the consumer the best experience possible! Went initially for the best beer selection in town and after numerous suggestions from Patrick to try the meat counter, I am amazed at quality and price! Do yourself a favor and try this hidden gem!

Best meat in Modesto! Not only is the meat top quality for a decent price but the people are friendly with great customer service. The beer here isnt your common corner store beer either.... this stuff is good!

This is the only place i will buy salsa from now. Every style is amazing, roja, tomatillo, and roasted jalapeno offer their own distinct flavor and no lack of quality. They have a small, high quality butcher counter in the back, an amazing selection of cold, craft beers, and plans for expansion. This place quickly became my favorite little market in Modesto, and i will be a customer as long as we are both here.

Omg the killer fresh made ground burgers with Fresh Genova Buns! Stuffed mushrooms and jalapeños - Gourmet Cheeses and a killer Beer selection. Nice Gourmet items with fresh produce n fruits! Ill be back for sure!

La Comisaria has revolutionized the typical Mercado experience, Yay! Appeals to new generation of shoppers whove grown to expect a little more than average. Truly appreciate the brand experience with detail given to every nook and cranny of the store. Love the decor, exquisite craft beer selection, and fine meat dept. Homemade sausages are a must try w/Chipotle Apricot at the top of our list. Quality seasoned chicken is always fresh and reasonably priced. Make sure you get there early though as they do tend to run out early. Although the butcher will have more available later id much rather only make one shipping trip. Produce dept provides just enough selection w/competitive pricing and an occasional discount bag of peppers for $1. I purchased a bag of serrano peppers that lasted 2 weeks and made generous amts of SPICY salsa. This is our go to spot for quality meats, craft beer, and great service. Truly a unique shopping experience!
