This guy is an absolute joke. Customer service skills are majorly lacking and zero professionalism. If you have Iphone issue it is better to take the drive to Modesto to the Apple store.
I had the BEST experience at this place and with their amazing tech person Joel. He was super kind and empathetic towards my apple computer issue I was having. He actually let me sit in the office space for an hour until my computer issue arrived so he could properly diagnose and fix. Thank you so much Joel and Mobile Kangaroo
We had to make an appointment for my daughter to have her laptop battery evaluated since it wasnt holding a charge. They let us keep the laptop while they ordered the new battery. Then we brought the laptop in to have the battery replaced. Despite being told on our first visit that the replacement wouldnt take long, it turned out that the store needed to keep it at least 24 hours afterward to test the computer, which was problematic for my daughter since she is a full time physics and math student at Stanislaus State and all of her classes, labs, and even her tutoring job are online due to the pandemic. We wished they had been more clear that they needed to keep the computer that long. At any rate, the staff were nice, if a little arrogant. The store controlled access to the public so we felt safe going in the store. They disinfected their hands, wore masks, and there was a plastic barrier between the personnel and the public. They completed the work as promised. The computer functions without difficulty. The price was comparable to others offering this service. Overall, we would recommend this store.
Really bad customer service and experience. Took my MacBook Pro in and they told me it was going to be ready early the next day. A week went by and they never bothered contacting me to update me on what was going on. Until I personally called them, they informed me that they were unable to fix my computer and it was going to cost an additional $600 to fix. I did not want to pay the $600 so I went to pick up my computer, went home and called Apple Support. Within a few minutes Apple Support helped me fix the problem over the phone and I didnt have to pay the $600 they told me was going to cost to get my computer fixed. Overall, if you have an Apple product call Apple Support first they will help you fix the problem over the phone.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! JOEL THE MANAGER IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND SARCASTIC! From the very beginning of my appointment, he was constantly complaining about how busy it had been at the store and how the phone kept ringing. He proceeds to accuse me of damaging my own property and tells me Apple will not cover, WITHOUT LOOKING at any of my information or even speaking to me about the item. I HAD JUST HANDED IT TO HIM! He eventually took my item and said he would see what they could do and didnt contact me for over a week! I had to call him multiple times! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO GET A NEW MANAGER!
Review is to relay some information you might not get until you are here. If you are looking to get a repair, and they need to take a look at what’s wrong from the inside of the product, they charge a down payment of $129 before thy even give you a quote for the repair. The down payment goes toward your repair though. Staff was nice as per other reviews, but unfortunately for me, I couldn’t put a down payment for a quote. Analyzing the reason, it’s smart for Mobile Kangaroo to lure in customers with the down payment, following up with a larger than normal repair charge at a point you already have money on the line.
One of the worst experiences Ive had, took 3 hours and what should have been 55 dollars was actually 65 when I arrived. Didnt fix anything. Youd be better off buying a new device. Horrible customer service.

I see alot of comments saying that the people here are friendly, but when i went the people were rude. I came to the place and when i rang on the doorbell this blonde lady answers and says do you have an appointment and i replied with no because i read the website and at the bottom it clearly says no you dont need an appointment and to just walk in and theyll still help you, so thats what i was planning to do, and this lady goes no we cant help you, you need a reservation sorry and i told her about what the website says and she replies with no it doesnt, so i asked her if she could at least help me make one and she goes NO with so much attitude. SMH.

I brought our iMac over to Mobile Kangaroo just like Apple instructed me to do. And I was very pleased with the young gentleman. Because he was very pleasant to speak with and he asked me a few questions of the issues that I was having problems with. He most likely could have fixed our iMac that day but since I brought it in so late that he suggested that the following day the iMac could be picked up. He called the next morning so I went to pick it up. He explained to John Evans and I Brad L.J. Pearson what we would have to do when we had it home. The thing now is just plugging the computer or hooking it back up. I would give this place more than a 5 star if could and Thank You as well APPLE
