Edit: Thanks for the owner getting back to me, however people do not usually have an extra 20 minutes (including me) ontop of the first 20 minutes they spend here to have things washed again.. have a talk with your workers..-I grew up going here. Years ago my dad used to take his work truck here and they did an incredible job cleaning it every time. I came to get my car cleaned just as they opened so it wasnt busy. Paid $32 for the VIP. The outside looks good. The inside looks only slightly vacuumed and barely dusted with a dry towel.. Its unfortunate.. I used to love this place and tip generously. I would have rather saved money and done it myself. Hate to leave such a bad review but the workers need to take their job more seriously for how pricey this place is.

They did a good job on the windows, car smells nice from the mint air freshener they used! But was disappointed with the quick & sloppy job they did vacuuming the seats & floors; there was still debris & trash on the seats & floor; inside surfaces werent wiped down, still dust & smudges on middle console; doors; steering wheel area, etc. Had to go to Mister Car Wash & vacumn inside of car again; plus had to wipe inside of car again to get it clean! Know theyre very busy, but wouldnt have minded the 2hr wait, if the car wouldve been cleaned like I requested & paid for!

Love going to this car wash but this last time I went they did not do a good job inside.

Well. I asked for a full wash inside and out.I was told they were only doing outside and vacuum floor. Because short of staff so I said OK. But as I was waiting for my car I seen several cars getting the full wash inside and out. So I was a little upset that I could not get the Inside of my windows washed and clean the Inside

Used to be a big part of my week that I looked forward to. Now, there seems to be no heart, or kind ppl. I canceled my membership, after many disappointing months. I just received a refund check for a window sticker that I didnt even know Id been charged for! They got not only my address wrong, they also got my name wrong & sent it to Rudy! Smh

Sorry we went...As a thank you to a community volunteer who has given hundreds of hours of her time unselfishly to help students at our school, we had her take her Dodge pickup to Five Min Car Wash detail. We usually use a service on McHenry and always had great results. This time we decided to give Five Min a try as they have done many good washes for us for decades. We also wanted to have breakfast nearby..It was a mistake, both the volunteer and I got different answers when we each called on the price and scheduling, and these were inconsistent with what we experienced when we arrived. When we dropped off the vehicle, the person behind the counter had didnt seem to understand the pricing or how to input the data to make the sale. She had to be told what the price was which she scribbled on a piece of paper. The funny thing was, she claimed to be the manager and didnt know the system. (Interesting combination, but this is Modesto after-all). We had been told $150 by one person, when we got there it was $175 (we were only asking for a carpet cleaning). Also, we were told that if we dropped the vehicle off the night before that it would be done first thing the next morning and that it only took about 5 hours. When we called around 3:30 to come and pick it up, the person who answered said it wasnt done and after spending several minutes on hold and listening to explanations/excuses saying that there was some information missing (mind you they had enough information to charge the card the night before and take in the vehicle). Finally, they said it wouldnt be ready until 5 pm (we had an event we needed to be at by 4:00 and counted on Five Min having their part done before that as promised) so we could go from one to the other.Then, when we picked it up the next day, the carpets looked great. The wash we didnt ask for was inconsistent at best. See pictures. The bed and running boards were partially done. The whole experience left us knowing that we will keep on with our McHenry merchant for detailing in the future.

Duncan has no customer sevruce skills this is the 2ND time with a car seat issue now and they soaked my sons car seat stating it wasnt there fault but cant prove that we didnt have all the windows up. he offered NO solution on a $400 car seat that I now have to pay for.then proceeds to tell me he cant stand kids and doesnt have any.

The men who actually do the work on the cars do an excellent job. They find things in my car I had no idea were even there! Cons: The cashier inside does not wear a face mask. I noticed one employee smoke a cigarette and then get right into a customer car. I was glad it wasnt my car. But still not cool. Would get more stars if not for these issues.

These guys really know what theyre doing And they dont overcharge you. I recommend them to anyone that would like excellent quality service for an exceptional price. 💯💯💯💯🙏

Love this place but they always forget to clean the cup holders!! When I remind them to do so, though, they are always very responsive and promptly do a thorough job.

I have been going to 5-minute car wash since I was a little girl. I went today for a full service wash. I am ultimately disappointed with how the inside of my car was (not) cleaned. Its unacceptable! The quality we used to get here has definitely fallen short of the excellence they used to give.

Usually try to change my oil myself if i can but if i dont i only take my cars to this spot because theyre always friendly and professional and never make mistakes like some other oil change places ive been to in the past. Ive been taking my vehicles here for 10+ years without a bad experience at all so that explains the great review.

What can I say!? I am so satisfied with how I was treated and the complete attention to detail that my car was shown. They got the stains out of my leather seats! This is the second car I have brought in and I will continue to do so! I highly recommend!!

Visiting from out of town. I really needed a vacuum and wash, I was impressed! Outstanding people, the only thing I would recommend is bring cash for tip, because they can’t add tip at checkout. Wish they had that because I didn’t bring cash with me so I felt bad for not leaving one.

Seriously! As if it wasnt already overpriced, they raised their prices. Although their website says differently, their price for them to wash, vacuum out your car and wipe down the inside is now $32. Its absolutely shameful that during a pandemic when people are struggling to make ends meet, one of the little luxuries that people can go do has been completely price gouged.

Great place. Best car wash in Modesto. They also have a restaurant where I ate breakfast which was delicious oh, they have a barber shop and a gift shop and all at a great price. Highly recommend this place. You can even get your oil changed there.

Best place to get an oil change & detailed car wash for just a few dollars more than the oil change!!! Have only used them the last 15+ yrs cause as a woman its very hard to find mechanics that actually do a good job & dont charge u a bunch of money & say they did a bunch of work when in reality they didnt change a thing!! True story happened the1 time I went elsewhere & Ill never make the mistake of trusting anyone except for 5 minute car wash of course!!!

This place is amazing. Great service, they go above and beyond...and if you not happy they work to make it right...and if you are on car wash plan even better than Mister... they vaccum it for you and hand dry.... cant get better than y.

We recently had our truck washed here and for $22.00 it should have been clean you would think right? Well dash didnt get cleaned, still had dust on the doors and a very big disappointment after coming here for many years. Before you drive away check your vehicle and make sure its clean.

Just got back from a 2,000 mile trip to Texas. Got a lot of bugs and Texas mud. They took my truck through 3 times (on theyre own) to get it clean. Well worth the unlimited washes fee.

Very dissatisfied because we’re currently in a global pandemic and nobody here wears a mask. Girl that attended me first had a smirk and kept saying she couldn’t hear me because I wore a mask. If you want to risk catching covid this is the place for you.

Great!!!! This was my first time at this car wash. They were quick and my car sparkles inside and out. And I have kids, so that says a lot. I havent had a car wash like this in years and I will definitely be back.

I love this place and highly recommend it. I have never been before the other day so I drove right up to the vacuum cleaners I bypassed everything. They were very kind and helped me out and explained everything to me. They did a awesome job was pretty quick. I got the VIP wash and my car looked fantastic. This was the first time I have ever used a full service car wash and I will definitely be back.

For the most part they do a great job. Ive been there a couple times where they didnt do as good of a job but for the money the car is usually nicely cleaned.

Having 2 kids your car in my case truck looks so chaotic. They vacuum like kids have never been in my truck. My truck always comes out clean and I love how they dry it down and wipe things down on the inside as well.

This car wash reflect the pride of an owner that knows and cares about his customers. My car is always clean beyond my expectations and I always appreciate the way Im greeted and helped from my car by the staff. My kids enjoy watching the car be washed, I enjoy getting something to drink while waiting and the complimentary Modesto Bee newspaper is a nice touch! I cant imagine taking my car anywhere else!

This is a WONDERFUL car wash! I saw something about it taking longer than 5 min - 45 min I believe it was. Its because they put so much into it. There have been a couple of times I have taken my car in *hoping* they could get those sprinkler water spots off (most places would have just sent it through and not taken care of it) but this car wash was the first one that ever washed my car TWICE!! Without me having to pay extra! They were not satisfied with the first run through and inspection so they sent it another time. I am so appreciative that they care as much about my new vehicle as I do. And that being said, I took my 10 year old car there right before I traded it in for my new SUV (never having been there before) and I kid you not, when I left I actually thought Should I trade it??. And before that I couldnt wait to get rid of the dirty thing.I have never been to the one closer to downtown Modesto but the location on Oakdale Road is the only place I will take my vehicle to. So everyone from San Diego or wherever - youre crazy! I never write reviews of places but I really believed in this one. Thanks guys - for caring as much as I do!

I’ve been going to the drive-thru car washes for the last year and finally decided to get a real wash here. It’s a bit more expensive but I canceled my membership at the drive-thru. Way better wash here.

Paid $32 for the VIP wash and I still had bugs left on my mirrors. When I pointed it out to the attended, he took care of it.

Great attention to detail on the interior, but a few spots missed on the exterior behind the mirrors. Wouldnt bother me, but it seems to be an issue every time I come here. They are always quick to fix it if I point it out, but it would take less of everyones time if it got done on the first round.

Paid for the VIP plus package, I did not want any scent or tire shine. The exterior wash, and detail was great and they honored my request for no acent/tire shine. The inside was barely vacuumed or wiped down though, I had to spend 20 minutes at home doing my own detail. Good place for a quick wash, but go elsewhere if you need an interior detail.

Gets extremely busy, but youll get through car comes out clean and they wipe it down for you 14 bux

I was at the carwwash on Carpenter rd today and loved the service and the friendliness of the staff. The cashier Diana was very helpful and sweet. She always had a smile on her face. My car was left spotless and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this location.

This place does a pretty good car wash. They also have a restuarant inside with pretty tasty breakfast. Sometimes they take quite awhile to do a wash so be prepared for that. Full service carwash with onsite gas pumps.

These guys get it done the first time everytime

We took Mikes truck in for a wash and went inside for breakfast. Mike then paid for his wash and when we got in the truck the interior looked about the same as it did when we left it with them. Dirty, dirty dirty. We looked around at the interior for a few minutes and then decided to talk with them about this $50.00 cleaning. The Manager approached us and asked how we were doing with a defensive tone and when Mike nicely voiced his concerns the Manager said “you only paid $50.00 and if you wanted a detail I would charge you $500.00.” He showed him the dirty visor mirrors, dash, doors, steering wheel and column and everything else that was left dirty and he said “we just wipe it down and you ONLY paid $50.” Mike asked a few more questions and he was defensive and of NO help. The Manager then told him he was going to call his company tomorrow & complain about him. WHAT! We paid for the wash from our account, Mike’s company had nothing to do with it as he was driving a truck with the company name on it so I suppose the guy thought that would upset Mike. Mike however says, to this I say go for it. The Manager then said they charge his company $125.00 for a vehicle... Wow! We always want to support our local businesses but sorry 5 minute car wash, you blew it.On the bright side breakfast was EXCELLENT ‼️

Here it is Monday around 10:30 and not even that busy....I specifically purchase the ‘VIP’ wash because that was the only selection to get my wheels clean along with the wash. When they said that the car was ready, I was very concerned because I was watching the three guys attending my car didnt do the VIP that I was expecting for almost $30.00. I had to go and ask one of guys why my wheels and inside my door jams were still dirty. So I had to wipe the wheels myself and wipe down the inside door jams….amazing!! Very disappointed….

I recently took my 1990 Nissan first time I have gone to this car wash and it did not take long for it to be ready though I wish they would have taken longer to try out the restaurant inside. Maybe next time. I realized hours later that my front license plate was missing (my fault the fasteners i used were crappy) I gave them a call and as soon as they answered they were concerned and gave them my phone number the next day I got a call that they found it. I went to pick it up and while i was putting it back where it belongs a manager hanged up his cell and asked if I needed tools and he went to his car to get the tools and helped me put the plates on my truck. I am extremely grateful that even though I paid already they were concerned of helping me out and I will definitely go back and maybe try out the restaurant next time. Wish the wash had more brushes cause if my car has lots of bugs, they will not come off. Usually have to go thru twice to get clean. If they would pre spray better it may solve that problem. But they do it so fast caked on bugs stay caked on.

Dash and inside doors not wiped down..dirt on running boards...back window not cleaned completely and paint from *something* on my bumper.[brand new car].....im pretty frustrated. If i can see the dirt on my dash they saw it too...will try vintage next time.

A client gave me a gift for here. They really went the extra mile on cleaning my interior, vaccuuming and washing my interior very good. So inpressed.

I have lived in the area 9 years now and have brought many of my familys vehicles there. The quality of the service has gone down. I find myself having to wipe down sections of dirt off my vehicle. My windows have a ring around them on the inside, As just the center was cleaned. My last trip there will be my last. I just bought a perfect condition 1997 Camaro Z28 and took it to the wash. When I walked out to my car there was a 2x6 hole in my clear coat. Not only did they not alert me to the damage, when I got one of the white shirts to look at it, he said older chevys have bad clear coats and that was it. NOTE: It looks better than when damage was done as I did not want it to spread and used clear nail polish to stop it. Maybe this will stop someone from having their car from being damaged. Wash it yourself... it will be cleaner and be in one piece.
